After a long hiatus I came back to Bings to give me a second go. What I noted immediately was a BIG improvement in the atmosphere. I ordered a taro milk tea with Boba and grass jelly. I will say, it was MUCH better than my last experience. They have new owners and it seems as the quality of drinks have improved. My drink had a nice sweetness to it, and the taro had a good flavor. My big issue with my drink however were the pearls themselves. They had no flavor or sweetness to them. With so much amazing competition I needed more than to just taste the tapioca itself. Ordered a taro milk tea with boba. The powder wasn't mixed well and it was gritty. The flavor was not good compared to Taro I get at other shops, way too sweet and kind of gross. I asked for no sweetener and the powder alone was too sweet. The Boba pearls were not properly chewy, they were overcooked and way too soft, like completely waterlogged, and then some of them were somehow undercooked and still grainy in the middle. I drank a third of it considering I spent ten dollars, but it was really not good, so I stopped kidding myself and just threw the rest away. $10 regret. The girl at the counter was nice though. I would have asked for a refund if I'd stuck around, but I had plans this evening and needed to take the drink to go. read more

Bing's provides perfect refreshing summer treats in the form of their delicious teas, slushes, and snows! Bing's has a great variety of drink options, some with milk (dairy or non-dairy are both available!) and some without. I love playing around with different combinations of drink flavors and add-in flavors, but some of my all-time favorites are taro snow with traditional boba, lemonade slush with mango jelly (honestly, the lemonade slush is killer with any of the fruit add-ins), matcha snow with peach popping boba, and chocolate snow with coffee jelly. It is my favorite dessert drink and this place did not disappoint. - Atmosphere: spacious, lots of tables, bathroom in the back. They provide games like connect four, scrabble, Chinese checkers for you to play and there's WiFi so it's also a great place to study! They also have a high table against the wall if you feel like standing (I like to study here when I've been sitting for too long). - Food: the house milk tea is delicious! After having never been to Bing's (the first dedicated Boba drink shop in Tucson), I have now been there twice in a month! They have a very broad selection of milk teas, fruit teas, slushes and snow with more than a dozen flavors in each (and you can combine flavors)! Its a cute shop with lots of seating and was surprisingly empty both visits (possibly because University is out of session). They were very generous with the amount of boba they added. My only complaint is that both visits the person who was running the counter was not very knowledgeable about their offerings. Stopped by to check out a tea place because I was desperate for something other than coffee because of the dry weather. Inside, it's very spacious and has cute decor. Was in Tucson for the weekend and needed a boba fix. With the good reviews we decided on this place easily. It's a pretty large location with several options for seating, they have TVs and games available. You order at a window to the right when you walk in and the pick up window is towards the back. The girl working was nice and quick. I went with the house milk tea, which was recommended over the original milk tea for having more of a "toasted" flavor. I figured why not. I asked for it less sweet and added boba or course. The small was a perfect size in my opinion, and the flavor was excellent! It was probably one of the best flavored milk teas I have ever had. The boba was standard, chewy and not too mushy. My girlfriend ordered a piña colada slushy with double strawberry jelly. Bing's may have been the first but they are not the best, or even second best sadly. I've tried many boba places over the years in Tucson and I recently came back to try Bing's again on a Saturday afternoon. Their new panda logo is super cute, the Campbell location is very decorative, and I really like how they have caffeinated options and sweetness options denoted on their menu however the actual boba pearls are soggy/mushy, some very hard to suck up (pretty evident that they have been sitting for too long, expanding, clumping, and disintegrating). This is not the first time I've had this issue which is exactly why I've explored other boba tea businesses (one of which by the way, commits to preparing their boba pearls every 2-3 hours for optimal texture). Thus, I can only assume Bing's cares more about making money than serving quality boba drinks so I don't plan on returning. TLDR: They serve up old boba pearls and it tastes terrible. read more

I love that this boba place popped up in this shopping center! Now we can get lunch at Bahndicted, go grocery shopping at Lee Lee, and and then get boba for the ride home. In Oceanside and the San Diego area there are no shortages of boba tea places, feels like 1 on every corner so I was very happy to find some in Tucson. Bings is in a little strip mall and there is some parking in the lot, even during a crowded afternoon we were able to get a spot. The menu is extensive and there are plenty of drink options, but there are also snack and dessert options too. While you wait there are board games, to play, TVs to watch, and there might be free wifi as well. This is my 2nd time at Bing's and it was just as good as the first. The cashier was very friendly, smiled, asked if we had questions and answered all of them, including customizing our order. Thank you very much. I ordered a Jumbo slush combo lemonade and strawberry with double Boba, about $5 or so and it was fantastic, did not survive the car ride home. Side note, the Jumbo comes with a removable lid, not a sealed lid. The boba was perfectly cooked and went well with my sweet drink. I also tried 1 of the brownies about $1.50, it was moist and had plenty of chocolate flavor, not dry and stale, it had good flavor, not the best ever and not worth $1.50 but it hit the spot. It took less than 5-6 minutes from time of our order, to get our 3 items, and there were 2 people ahead of us. There seemed to be only 1 person making the drinks but he was fast, efficient, and gave us the drinks with a big smile. I have not tried any other Boba places in Tucson, and I don't plan to because Bing's is the right price, has the right service, and tastes great! Most of the drinks on the menu are made with powder (besides strawberry, banana, avocado and some other ones). I am usually not a fan of this type of drink. However, I used to enjoy the Spicy flavored Popcorn chicken with sweet chili sauce on the side until I learned today, with my purchase, that Bing's has changed their popcorn chicken, using not actual chicken meat but the white, spongy filling like the one in chicken nugget. I haven't cared to go in here because the Bing's up north next to Lee Lee's has a sparse menu and underwhelming drinks. Im glad I finally tried it because this location is 10x better! Dozens of flavors, styles, and add ins. They even have a dual cup so you can order two drinks for the combined price and size of one. Tea, snow, slush, shaved ice, you name it. They even do "plant style" - crumbled Oreos are topped on the drink with a little mint sprig poking out for a cute little display. They serve snacks like fried fare and carious flavors of cheesecakes. Vary spacious inside. Parking is kind of rough because they share the lot with a ton of other businesses in a small mall on Campbell. Further, getting in and out can be inconvenient due to the lot exposed to the busy street. Probably the best boba I've had in Tucson yet! read more

My order was out in about 3 minutes. The quality and service are worthy of 5 stars but I'm a deducting a star because of cleanliness.
