Went in today, and it has the best quiet and serene atmosphere out of a boba/tea place I've been in recently. Customer service was superb as the woman was kind and patient with myself and my spouse as it was our first time here and we looked over the menu. I got the lavender milk tea with boba and it was very good. The lavender wasn't overpowering and it was a very mellow drink. My spouse got the strawberry green tea and it was very good as well. Cute little spot in terms of decor. I only tried the strawberry tanghulu and it's the first time I have had it. The coating of it didn't have much flavor that I noticed and I wished it did but my husband and I were relieved it wasn't super sweet like we expected it to be and I enjoyed the very crunchy texture. They had ones with green grapes, red grapes, a citrus fruit and blueberry as well. I wish I could try a hawthorn berry one as I have yet to have hawthorn. My understanding is that when tanghulu is made with hawthorn in China, the tart and sweet contrast with tart fruit and sweet coating is a big part pf the experience . I don't think the strawberry one we tried here really captured that contrast. The tanghulu here was a fun food "lifer" but not something i'd crave to get again. Super fun that it's available to try here in Tucson though and the texture was definitely fun even though I didn't find that the coating had much flavor. Counter service was basic. We didn't try any drinks. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! The place smelled kind of gross and the lady who was working was on her phone ignoring us when we were asking the prices on the tanghulu we waited like a long while for her to respond to us lol the tanghulu was really expensive it's $4.50 a piece and the fruit did not taste fresh and there was this weird dirt or powder in one of the strawberries we lost our appetite and stopped eating it after seeing that maybe the strawberry got dropped on the floor or somewhere dirty and they still used it without even washing it off I don't know that dust was suspicious read more

I really do like the way they make the tangulu it looks like nothing would be wrong with it, until you taste it. It taste like the fruit definitely has been sitting there and don't get me wrong I love supporting local businesses. Solid spot for boba that offers non-dairy options for milk teas which I appreciate. Only draw back is that you can't adjust sweetness level like some other boba places in town, but the lavender milk tea I ordered wasn't too sweet. My husband had the banana milk tea which he enjoyed. We also tried tanghulu for the first time - only place I've seen in town that offers this so far! The Boba here is delicious! The lady serving us was very sweet and made the watermelon slush rather quickly. She even gave my daughter a really cute Boba sticker. I love that this location is right next to Bookmans so we can come here and get some Boba and then do some bookshop so it is definitely a win-win. read more

The atmosphere here is really cozy and inviting. It's perfect that it's right by Bookmans so you can get a book and enjoy an afternoon here reading. They have an extensive menu and ice cream! I got the strawberry cheesecake drink and it was delicious. The cheese foam is a little weird but itself, but is really good mixed into the drink. The woman at the register was incredibly rude. I walked up and she didn't even care to look up from her phone on which she was texting. I was going to get some yummy tea but the way she huffed and basically ignored me changed my mind. So I asked for a cup of water instead which she said would be 25 cents. I thought it was weird to charge for water but I didn't mind and went to get out my wallet when she added they don't take card. I stood there for a second not really sure what to say and she just resumed texting. This is not only incredibly rude but unprofessional. My favorite boba spot in town! Usually one person working and let me tell you they work their butt off! I've seen a ton of people and they handle the volume with grace. It's next to bookmans which makes it an extra special treat for me as books and boba are my favorite. They have super fresh boba and ingredients as I've seen them fresh out of the pot. I love the sweetness levels as it's perfect if you don't like SUPER sweet boba and the prices are reasonable. This location also has snacks and ice cream. Great place to grab a boba! read more

I decided to try this place out today and to began i will say it's a small place. It has maybe two small two person tables and a small counter to order from. The individual that helped me was nice and gave tea selections I should try. I took her suggestion and ordered a large passion fruit iced tea. The large is more like a skinny medium cup size and the passion fruit tea taste was not flavorful or satisfying at all. I don't know if it was the tea leaves themselves or the water used to brew the tea. It had a weird taste at first drink. I would give this place a benefit of doubt and maybe they had an off day on that flavor but I ended up tossing the tea after first drink. read more

I love visiting local small businesses around Tucson. I actually was hanging out of Bookmans and I saw this as I was exiting and I love Boba tea. So I figured I'd go out and try it not knowing what to expect. They had a variety of flavors. They had different options as well. The whole atmosphere was really really unique love the colors the pastels it was a really relaxing environment to visit and to order tea from. The person at the counter was really pleasant. Came here May 30, 2022. Daughter and her friend ordered. I asked for Thai tea with milk. Woman at counter said milk was dairy free. I asked, "what kind of milk is it?" She said it's from a cow. Ok that made no sense. Then I asked less sweet and she couldn't do it bc it's pre-made. Ok so I ordered unsweetened black tea, asked with milk. She said only powder. I asked if any of the teas can be made with milk. She then told me she refuses to serve me or my daughter. I wasn't rude, just trying to buy iced tea with milk? This is mine and my husbands favorite boba shop in town! I honestly think the teas come out perfectly every time I order one. I always get the lychee slush with lychee jelly and it is SO good. The girl here is also so sweet! I love chatting with her. And to top it off, the aesthetic of this shop is great too. Lots of cute decor with a very cozy vibe. Delicious and fast! I went here for the first time today and tried the Coconut Milk Tea. For toppings I did half tapioca and half crystal boba and it was fantastic! I've never tried crystal boba before, but I really liked the texture and flavor of it. The tapioca boba was cooked perfectly. The drink itself was on the sweeter side, but that's how I like it.
