    Takoyaki Ball (6 Pcs)
    Sasha M.

Taichi Bubble Tea This review is based on an Uber Eats order, and honestly... if the food tastes this good after delivery, I can only imagine how incredible it is in person. I didn't see the restaurant itself yet, but after this experience, visiting is officially on the to-do. We started with the takoyaki balls, which were an absolute standout. I'm not an expert on how they're made, but I did notice pieces of octopus inside, and wow so good. The sauce on top is an explosion of flavor: rich, savory, slightly sweet, and totally addictive. I could eat these every time and never get bored. Next, we built our own Tachi burrito bowl and this is where Taichi really shines. The customization options are next-level. You can choose white rice, brown rice, no rice, and even a greens base. Then you get three proteins yes, three. Options include tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, spicy salmon, shrimp, tofu, crab meat, and chicken. From there, it's toppings galore: avocado, cucumbers, red onions, cherry tomatoes, jalapeños, mango, masago, seaweed salad, and crunchy add-ons like fried garlic or fried onions. The variety alone deserves applause. And then... the sauces. This is where you can really get creative. Spicy mayo, poke sauce, chili hot sauce, eel sauce, mango sauce, ponzu, Thai sweet chili, Thousand Island, wasabi the list goes on. We went with spicy tuna, salmon, and spicy salmon, and let me tell you fresh, flavorful, perfectly balanced. Every bite worked. I don't claim to be a poke or Thai food expert, but whatever choices we made... we absolutely made the right ones. Bottom line: even through delivery, Taichi delivered. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and endless customization. Next time, in person, and probably ordering way too much.

Vegetable spicy miso ramen ($13.99) and coconut milk tea ($5.25)
    Mandi G.

Stopped in on a chilly rainy day and the warm ramen was a good pick on that cold day! I got the veggie ramen and especially liked how the egg was prepared. The ramen was not very heavy with vegetables, which was ok for me but some may be expecting more than the few veggies in it. The spicy miso broth was good too. I really didn't like the coconut flavored milk tea. I do NOT recommend it - to me, it tasted watered down and reminded me way too much of coconut scented shampoo than anything I should be drinking! I bet the other drinks are good, that just wasn't!

Sadly, this boba tea shop was below my expectations. Starting by walking into the shop, it was quiet and empty. They have the potential as they serve meals too such as ramen and poke bowls. Due to the lack of their media, I think many people are unaware of this spot. I only saw this because I was looking for a store in the same plaza. We did not order meals. But I think their options are great including the build your own bowls/burrito. Their boba was not the best. Ordered couple of milk teas and they were warm. The drinks could have been more enjoyable if it were cooled before serving. There were couple of ice in the cup which melted right away. The tapioca pearls were cooked nicely- maybe could have cooked just a tad bit more. The most negative part was the flavors. Taro had a terrible taste especially right when you drink it. Almost as if it's old. Brown sugar was too sweet. Overbearing to drink. Unfortunately I do not believe we would be visiting again as there are other strong competitors nearby the area that are much better than Taichi's. Good luck to you and hope they're will be a turnaround

Tachi Burrito, Rice Bowl & Salad (Pick 1 Protein)

Great Meal! You order through a pamphlet and check off what you want in your sushi burrito (wrapped in nori) it's a great size for its price. Made in under five minutes. Yummy!

I've heard amazing things about this place and was excited to try it out for myself. We were greeted immediately as we walked in. The employees were so friendly. I ordered a boba and a poke bowl. Both were delicious! I would definitely come here again.

    Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen, Thai Tea

Nice place. Friendly staff. Ordered the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen and a Thai tea. The "spicy"/peppers/chili for the ramen comes on the side for you to add yourself, Thai tea was pretty good - not great, but I wouldn't say to avoid it if you're wanting one.

I love that this place offers so many varieties of food AND boba! You have your choice of ramen, poke bowls, poke burritos, salads or rice bowls. I had the rose peach milk tea with boba and the tonkatsu ramen with pork. I would have liked a deeper spoon to have the ramen with instead of a more generic plastic spoon that was only slightly deep. The actual ramen was decent. It came with a lovely soft boiled egg, bok choy, fish cake/naruto, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and roasted pork. The pork had a caramelized crust to each slice and it was beautifully presented. The noodles were cooked a tad longer than I would have preferred but still decently chewy. The rose peach milk tea sugar level is fixed but at the existing level it worked for me. I liked the bits of peach mixed with the rose flavor. The boba was springy and chewy with just a tiny harder bit in the center. If you order a poke item there is a sheet you use to check off which items you want which makes it easier for both the customer and poke chef to make your food. - Some drinks a have fixed sugar level - Plastic forks and spoons - Multiple locations throughout the US, but this is the first one in AZ - Hot and cold tea selections available

Brown sugar boba and green tea with strawberry popping boba and lemon
    Serena M.

I stopped in with my kiddos to try their boba, and I was excited to see a specifically lemon section of the menu! I have been big-time craving lemon this winter. I tried one of their lemon green teas with strawberry popping boba and it was delicious! I loved the inclusion of lemon slices in the drink. We were interested in trying out some of the food, but the menu felt unclear and a little overwhelming during the flurry of after school pickup. The main menu above the counter is all drinks, and the food menu seems to be only posted on the exterior window. We came on a rainy winter day, so we did not want to stand outside to examine the food menu.

    Rose tea
    Georgiana Y.

Got the ramen & rose tea, which were good but not amazing. I wish the broth for the ramen was a little bit fattier since it was tonkatsu based, but I did love the egg. The pork was also decent (soft). The rose tea needed a bit stronger of either the tea flavor or the rose flavor (tastes a bit more like sweet milk). It's pretty casual and fast service, though, which can be good if you need something fast. Lots of open seating available as well. Would consider coming back to try the poke.

Try this newly open dining/dessert place. They said that they had just opened about a couple of weeks ago. The place is nice and clean, and there is more than enough selection to eat and drink. The food we ordered was tonkatsu & miso ramen and salmon poke bowl. We also ordered drinks. All delicious Happy because we have more choices in town.

I got the spicy red miso, small chicken garlic parm, and my husband got the vegan ramen. All were extremely flavorful and fresh tasting and came out quickly. They have a good selection of pre bottled drinks as well to complement the dishes. The red miso definitely satisfied my spicy tastes if you are the type of person who can eat a bag of hot Cheetos without blinking you'll be fine but if you're sensitive to spice you might want to skip that option. On the menu they do have chili peppers next to the items to indicate the spice level. The portions are BIG and definitely worth it. They come in the cutest bowels and have an excellent packing system of the broth is separate from the noodles and other items if you're getting it to go. The actual restaurant is quirky for sure with Easter eggs hidden and anime and Pokémon around the restaurant. This is DEFINITELY better than Obon and Raijen hands down. This is my new favorite ramen spot!

The unassuming run down strip mall facade I hope offers a low rent lot for them to keep business going forever, and also offers customers pretty reliable free parking. Take a menu and order first at the register before finding a seat within the bare bones interior. Yes, there's a cool wall mural of a kung fu noodle girl and a LOT of (hopefully) ironic quips about working, but otherwise it's just some tables, the glass storefront, the register, and the kitchen. It's fortunately pretty spacious so you won't have to feel the heat radiating from your neighbor or their soup bowl. I like a focused menu, and Noodleholics has just a few different options that they do and do well. We opted for the spicy Chaoshou Dumplings as well as a bowl of the Taiwanese Beef and The Guilin. The Chaoshou Dumplings were good but just okay, with me hoping for an oilier type sauce to better coat each dumpling, though the sauce definitely has a kick. The noodle soups though... Wow. Both soup bases were savory rich and nourishing, packed full of fresh protein and veggies. I liked the wide wheat noodles more than the thinner rice noodles in the Guilin, but really enjoyed the mixture of pickled veggies and crunchy peanuts that often don't make it into dishes outside of a true Chinese restaurant. I do think the beef and pork could be more tender, but they really perfected the crispy skin of the pork. This is a great affordable, casual meal that just feeds your soul, and I like that once they bring your food out, everything else is self-serve so you're not waiting around for a takeout box or refilling water, which is all located at a convenient counter. Another mark of an authentic Asian restaurant is a toothpick dispenser (check!). If they ever opened a location in my area, I know I'd be a regular!
