Honestly get what you pay for. Cheap ramen and sushi at great prices! The front desk lady was very nice. However that's where the good stops. Sushi is poorly rolled. We got the philly and ninja roll. The salmon and tuna tasted like it's been sitting out all day out of temperature. Weird smell coming from it as well which should have been my first sign to not trust it. We also got the Miso and Shoyu ramen. Ramen had no depth of flavor. Any ramen enthusiast that understands the cooking of Ramen can tell a ramen that was cooked fast vs a loved and cared for one. Pork had no flavor and the broth tasted flat. No real sitting inside either. This seems to be meant for quick cheap ramen to go which isn't necessarily a bad thing but the inside ambience just felt loud and cluttered. We sat outside which is just cheap steel patio tables and chairs that are filled with dust and debris. I would not recommend this place unless you're okay with mediocre food for a small price. I used to come here all the time when I lived in the Tucson area because I was hooked on the Spicy Tuna Don (the original, like deconstructed sushi roll). I've never had anything else at this spot but this bowl .. the bowl starts with sushi rice, a generous scoop of spicy tuna, garnished with cucumber, green onion & seaweed. It's served with a hot cup of Miso soup. I did try the volcano version once and was not a fan. They do have ramen, bowls, bento boxes, sushi, etc. The menu is taped to the front windows, since COVID, and I guess that's a permanent thing now. They do have QR codes on tables but no menu at the front register. Located next to LeeLee Market, they share the same parking lot. Plenty of indoor and outdoor covered seating. Generous heaping of raw tuna on top of rice with some veggies, green onions. It's like having a deconstructed sushi roll, but when you think about the price it's actually an outstanding deal. Miso was rich with plenty of scallions, I dig. And while I'm not a ramen person, I sipped a bit of my gf's tonkotsu broth. It's the first time I've had one that wasn't an absolute salt bomb. Kudos! Overall, I see why this place is so busy--everything is fresh, convenient, high quality, and very inexpensive. The thick black sesame tonkotsu pork broth had way too much black sesame and it was too salty, and not enough broth. I'm glad I gave this place another try. I haven't ordered the ramen again but I like their curry chicken and rice, their sushi rolls are fresh, and their tempura shrimp (not on the menu) can be ordered ala carte, and it's very good (good size and batter is light and crispy).
