I've had the ramen (delivery) from the Ina location and was super impressed so I wanted to try the chicken sandwich at the Ft. Lowell location. My friend got the regular and I got the spicy version. The photo may not do it justice but it might be the best chicken sandwich I've eaten. Soft, buttery bun, mayo, tangy pickles, and perfectly-breaded-and-fried chicken that wasn't undercooked, dry, or soggy and it was surprisingly juicy for such a big piece of chicken. The spice was fairly tame, it adds a kick but doesn't overpower or leave your mouth on fire--which I'm okay with. The spice seemed more cayenne/paprika based though I couldn't pinpoint the seasonings. If you're a spice-head I'd suggest adding buffalo or honey sriracha sauce. The inside is very spacious, with lots of cutesy Asian decor and an 80s J-Pop soundtrack. Service was friendly and decently-timed as their food is (clearly) made-to-order. To pull a 1-2 punch in both ramen AND fried chicken is an impressive move. I can't recommend this place enough for your next ramen or chicken sandwich craving and I'll for sure be back to try the wings. read more

This is a fairly new place and similar to the original spot about 20 minutes away from it, serving the same food. However, this place is much bigger inside and allows better accommodations for eating in person versus the original location which caters to more take out service, as it includes a drive thru. This location does not have a drive thru. The service is minimal as you order everything at the counter. But the food is the star. Amazingly delicious ramen! I had the Shoyu Ramen and my friend had the Tonkotsu Ramen with a thinner noodle and chili oil on the side. Both soups were very flavorful and some of the best ramen I have had in Tucson. The other part of their menu is fried chicken. While I haven't tried it I hear great things and I'll probably try it next time. They do offer a fried chicken ramen to combine both menus. It's been a couple of years since I visited Toss Ramen at their original Alvernon location, where I loved their ramen and Japanese karaage (fried chicken). I was thrilled to see their success has led to a second location at Campbell and Ft. Lowell. I visited with friends and ordered my favorite, Tonkotsu ramen. While the menu lists it with straight noodles, I prefer curly al dente noodles, and the staff was kind enough to accommodate my request--such a thoughtful touch! The ramen was perfectly cooked, with a rich and savory pork broth that was incredibly comforting. My friend had the fried chicken sandwich, which featured a massive, mouthwatering patty, and we all shared the wings. The wings had a perfectly crunchy batter on the outside and were tender and juicy inside. What truly stood out, though, was the service. We stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly greeted by the cashier/server. After ordering, our food was promptly delivered to our table. We ordered a bowl of tonkotsu ramen and some wings (styled with American buffalo). The spicy tonkotsu was good with a rich broth, chewy noodles, and a pretty good chashu pork. Nothing super amazing, but definitely worth your buck. I couldn't taste the spice at all, but luckily they provide extra chili oil for some more kick! The American buffalo wings were advertised to have an Asian twist, but the flavor just wasn't there. It was just buffalo wings through and through, but the fry was pretty good. I'd love to come again to try the other flavors! The restaurant theme is also pretty cute, decorated with a ton of different anime posters and characters. This is only my second review that I've made in such a long time but I had to make it because I've been SEARCHING all around town for a ramen shop that really puts a lot of time and passion/pride into building a gloriously rich tonkatsu broth and this place has it!!! A velvety broth that is rich with tons of flavor but not feeling too heavy or oily... and a shaker of the togarashi spice... that is what I was hoping for and that is exactly what I got. A perfect marinated soft boiled egg half and excellently prepared chashu pork belly that were in the ramen were also a big deal to find, so that was another big win here. My partner got the desert ramen, a spicy version of shoyu ramen with chicken stock and fried chicken pieces, which was much spicier than he expected but worth it. We also ordered some fruit teas and those were fantastic. Overall we loved our dine in experience. Order at the front/sit down, great staff, very clean and open space with some happy plants, and comfort food that doesn't leave you feeling weighed down. My only wish was that there were more choices for additional veggies/toppings in the ramen but honestly, it's just a preference and the rest was so good that it's not something that I think changes my view on the quality of the ramen here. Came here with the family for dinner on a Sunday night. Lots of seating inside. Our group of four ordered two tonkatsu ramen, one desert ramen, one chicken ramen and a small order of fried chicken. We had fun looking at the various anime theme posters and decor while we waited for our food. The waiter suggested I order the desert ramen with the chili oil on the side so I could control the spice level. I enjoyed the citrus flavor it had which was unique to other ramen I have tried. We loved the seasoning on the chicken and could easily eat way too much of it. The service was friendly and helpful in answering all our questions. I didn't come back for a few years and I don't know what happened but their ramen is amazing now. I feel it is even better than raijin ramen. Toss is the only ramen restaurant around that makes their egg truly authentic like japan's ajitama eggs... I HIGHLY recommend always getting an extra egg. spicy miso is my go-to here. For starters some of the items on their menu are priced wrong, the soda was $0.25 more than the menu and the added chicken was $0.50 more than the menu price. It's not much, but can make a big difference with a large party. I hope they fix that. The place was quiet. I liked the wanted posters from a tv show (can't remember the name) on the wall. It wasn't a bad place, I'm really interested in trying an actual chicken product from this place. I'll come back if I'm in the area. It was spotless, and the tables shined. You order from the counter and they bring the food to you once it's ready, which is very nice. I got the tonkotsu & parmesan boneless chicken! The tonkotsu is light & refreshing. It isn't as heavy as other broths I'm used to, which is wonderful if you don't want to get too overwhelmed. After finishing my ramen, the bite of the chicken was so crispy and light it had a nice little crumble, or course the chicken was perfect. So happy this place is now in my immediate neighborhood. I was a huge fan of the original but it was too far from me to visit on a regular basis. Now, I'm in trouble. After my first bite, I said out loud to myself, "This is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life." I was hoping (praying) that it would be at least almost as good at this restaurant but I think it may have been better. We had never had ramen before and thought it might be a good thing to try. I have to say, it was bleh. The broth was alright but lacked depth and layering of flavors. The noodles were tasteless and the solid ingredients hardly worth the inclusion. The fried chicken defined the word tight (which is a chefy way of saying overcooked). The sriracha honey sauce lacked subtlety and sweetness. We tried both types of dumplings but found them inferior to those from other restaurants. This was a pick up, and even more off-putting was the stickiness of the floor. Since the restaurant had just opened, this suggested a real issue about housekeeping. Too bad. The south west corner of Campbell and Fort Lowell should be a great food destination, and this place doesn't help with that goal. read more

If you like anime then you will love the decor in Toss 2! It doesn't feel like this restaurant and the OG Toss are the same brand when you walk in but the food is delicious at either location! Highly recommend the tonkotsu and either ask for it spicy or just get hot chili oil on the side. We also love their chicken and fries. Everything is always cooked perfectly! Me and my boyfriend stop by yesterday night 12/14/25 we where excited to go and eat here due to the reviews of food being great and the decorations got our attention, unfortunately we left due to poor customer service and rudeness from the cashier Catherine she need to be re train on customers service, we asked for a water bottle instead she got a cup and gave us water f straight from the sink did not provide a lid or straw my boyfriend see the lids and straws since she had walk away he reach for it she comes back she acts all rude and sractics on can I help you by boyfriend tell her what he needs she proceeded to rudely take the lid he had in his hand and on top when i decided to void the transaction she didn't even wanted the owner to come out because she knew I would make a complaint of her attitude and way to treat costumers, we are sad that we couldn't even try the food.
