We used to live this place, but stopped going when we saw some low scores from the health department. Well the scores are better so we decided to give it one more try. Sad to say that from the moment you walk in you are in a dingy dark dining room. So quiet and awkward. The service is ok. The food was blah we kept our order to 3 rolls just to make sure we liked it. Spicy Rainbow roll no spice no flavor, spicy yellow tail was ok and the blue crab roll was the best roll. We also ordered a hot sake pretty tasty and the miso soup was good.

We met here on Sunday for dim sum for 10 people, and had great experience! Located right across from the rodeo grounds - we enjoyed all kinds of Chinese delicacies from broccoli in oyster sauce, to turnip cakes, buns of all kinds, shrimp, sesame balls - you name it! We enjoyed tea and dim sum for hours, we were all so full by the end, and they were able to split the check 10 ways for us - it ended up being just $33.00 per person including a tip for all of the wonderful food that we had! I haven't had dim sum in years, and this was an enjoyable way to spend a Sunday morning!

My boyfriend and I love sushi lounge! I tried dim sum for the first time here a few years ago and kept coming back. Staff is always so friendly, the restaurant host greets you as soon as you walk in, leads you to your table and is just so nice and attentive which to me is everything! Food always comes out quick and is nothing short of delicious every time.

It's been a while since we ate here. The food is as good as before, the service also good. Easy parking and got seat right away. Food comes out in a very reasonable time.

Nothing fancy, but the food is solid. The best part for me is there is made to order dim sum on the weekends, The service can be slow, but friendly and locally owned.

Parking is ample, service was ok, tables were sticky, usual Chinese restaurant feel. Mind you it's a Sushi place. We only came to try to dim sum because it seems it's the only one in Tucson worthy of taking a chance. You will be happy to know, it's ok - yes, ok! Just ok. Sorry! The noodles were decent, my husband liked it, it was not exactly what I was looking for but well... The siomai was good, better than others I've had in Tucson, also the soup dumplings were good. I wasn't too crazy about the quail egg one. My husband liked the pork and the tripe, it was close enough to the ones we had in LA & SF. Will we be back? Hummmm - maybe to try the other dim sum items we didn't try. Oh! I forgot to tell you, the dim sum is made to order, no rolling carts.

Tried again on weekend; expanded dimsum service - the shrimp fun gao (shrimp w cilantro) was awesome - service is great as usual. The usual stuff - soup buns, shumai were very good also; Tucson needs to try out this dimsum place more - this is the best one we have tried in the city for sure.

Now THIS was altogether unexpected. Recommended by a friend when I mentioned missing dim sum, I was suspicious that a place with the words "sushi" and "lounge" would have dim sum in the first place. Don't judge this book by its cover. They have a broad range of dim sum from dumplings to tripe in ginger scallion and everything was delicious!

No, but they do make great food.

What days and times is dim sum served?

Hi Judy, I've been there on Saturdays and Sundays around noon time that's when the specialty dim sum items are offered per menu. Most dim sum items are available anytime during the week by menu. Hope that helps :)

We pulled up to a completely full parking lot and a crowd of people waiting out front, which is always a promising sign. When we asked for a table, we were quoted a pretty long wait. To be fair, we did not make a reservation, so that one is on us. Normally I am not the type to wait that long, but the restaurant smelled absolutely amazing. That aroma alone convinced us to stick it out, and I am so glad it did. Once we were seated, our drink orders were taken and delivered quickly. The menu had a wide variety of dishes, including several vegetarian and vegan options, which we really appreciated. It would have been helpful to have more detailed descriptions on the menu, but our server was happy to answer questions and walk us through everything. We ordered the ma po tofu, braised tofu with vegetables, and vegetable chow fun noodles. My daughter went with the orange chicken and wonton soup. About ten minutes later, the noodles and soup arrived. The bowl of soup was big enough for the entire table, which made my daughter very happy. The noodles were delicious, and shortly after we started eating, the rest of the dishes came out. The braised tofu was loaded with large chunks of bell peppers and flavorful black mushrooms. The ma po tofu came in a vibrant red chili sauce topped with Szechuan peppercorn and brought just the right amount of heat. Everything was absolutely delicious. I am really glad we decided to wait and give this place a try. Jun Dynasty definitely earned a spot in our dinner rotation, and we will be back soon.

Promptly seated, drinks brought out, order taken and food delivered fast, hot and correct. The background music was some chinese music tv station playing modern easy listening tunes and, along with the comfortable chairs and solid table made for a relaxing environment. The food? meh. You can see our order in the latest photo and how expensive it was. the Lo Mein was mostly tasteless and certainly lacking in thast "lo mein flavor." Although the meat was tender, the sauce was just a sticky brown sauce. Surprisingly, the Spicy Pickle Tofu was essentially the same sticky brown sauce as the Lo Mein but with some fried tofu in it and without the noodles but nothing otherwise remarkable. You can tell by looking at my earlier picture attached. The old picture shows a bright and colorful plate. The dish today was a dark brown (you could hardly see the tofu from the beef) as everything was just dark. Eggplant seemed to have a similar brown sauce as well but the eggplant was otherwise tasteless. Nothing popped. Chicken bites were bland and not at all crunchy. Just fried to soft texture but no real flavor. According to our server, the menu was just recently updated about a month ago. We noticed because one of our favorites was the Fried Taro Pie which is now gone from the menu and the server said yes, that's right. Maybe this place has a new owner or chef, but it's no longer in my top asian restaurants for Tucson.

At Sky Dragon Restaurant (where my wife and I stopped in for their lunch special), I did something unforgivable. Something scandalous. Something so deliciously wrong it felt right: I ate my wife's entire eggroll. Yes, I swore I'd only take half. Just a polite nibble, a respectful sample, the kind of marital sharing that earns you points in the long game. But then the eggroll crackled, whispered sweet nothings, and before I knew it... it was gone. Vanished. Devoured. I betrayed my vows of "in sickness, in health, and in splitting appetizers evenly." But can you blame me? Sky Dragon's food is dangerously good. My Cashew Chicken was a culinary power ballad: tender chicken, crunchy cashews, and sauce so smooth Barry White could've sung it. The crab puff? A fried golden treasure chest filled with cream-cheese glory--like winning the lottery but tastier. The Egg Flower Soup was so comforting it should come with a blanket and a bedtime story. Meanwhile, my wife's Chicken with Vegetables looked like a scene from a kung fu movie where broccoli and carrots fight crime--colorful, crisp, heroic. She took home half of her meal and she watched me annihilate her eggroll like Godzilla on downtown Tokyo. Portions? Perfect. Flavors? Legendary. Regrets? Only that I didn't order a second eggroll before my marriage lawyer finds out. Final Verdict: Sky Dragon deserves 5 stars, a standing ovation, and maybe a Nobel Prize in Fried Foods.
