Service was fantastic and we were lucky enough to only have to wait about 10 minutes for a table even though we were quoted 30 minutes, what a nice surprise! Both ramens were delicious, I particularly loved the garlic flavor on the tonkotsu. My first bowl of ramen had a hair floating on top but they promptly gave me a new one. Eh it was ok. Came for lunch and got the tonkotsu with spicy chili on the side. I needed soy sauce and the flavor was underwhelming. I had a very small piece of pork which was tasty but there wasn't much of it. The egg was fine, not overcooked. Lots of toppings and lots of noodles. Overall it was like eating under-seasoned soup with too many noodles. The broth wasn't how I remember. It had the right flavor but not as rich as I remember. Last time I was here was probably 2018. Service was great. But flavor seemed off. Also wish they had a child's menu or allowed splitting an order. Calamari was a wonderful appetizer and the edamame as well. The seafood ramen only had one shrimp and a few tiny pieces of squid and scallops. Kids each had the chicken Ramen. Loved this place! If you need a great meal at a fast pace - this is your spot. We ordered the gyoza, the pork yakisoba, and the spicy miso ramen. I am not exaggerating at all when I tell you that our food was out in less than 5 minutes. And it was piping hot and delicious! The staff is also so very friendly. I actually don't care for ramen and cannot use chopsticks. The staff didn't make me feel ashamed or embarrassed for asking for a fork to eat my yakisoba dish. We both loved our food. My husband is a huge ramen fan and loved his. I loved the pork yakisoba so much that I'd go back for just this one dish again and again. The noodles were cooked to perfection! The gyoza were so full of flavor and came with a light suave drizzled on them so there was no need to dip them in anything - making it much easier to eat. The space is small, but the service is fast so it wasn't hard to get an inside table on a busy Saturday. They also have a patio which I am looking forward to experiencing in the cooler months. Tooling around Tucson with my daughter (another Elite), we stopped by for a bite while pre-Black Friday shopping. I didn't know what to expect, but the restaurant is a small, unassuming place. Maneuvering through the tiny parking lot was likely the least pleasant part of our experience, but we seated immediately. The restaurant was clean and had an open design. The one-page laminated menu showcased Ramen. I chose a seafood ramen bowl and Kay selected a veggie bowl. We opted out of the starters and it worked out for the best because the serving was generous. The food came out incredibly quickly, within minutes. Unfortunately, that kind of prep resulted in seafood that was a bit overdone and chewy. I added garlic chili oil, scallions and a soft boiled egg to my seafood ramen order and a small warm saké. The soy broth was so flavorful we both ordered extra noodles to extend our enjoyment of the deliciousness. Our waiter(s) were ever present and so attentive it made for a fun, interactive experience. I don't mean to sound like a snob, but who's calling this the best ramen in Tucson? If you've had authentic ramen--especially from places where it's predominantly Japanese or Asian--you'll likely be very disappointed here. We came because of the glowing Yelp reviews and the busy crowd, but the experience didn't match the hype. The broth lacked depth and richness; the tonkotsu wasn't creamy or flavorful the way it should be. The spices were bland, there was only one small piece of meat, and worst of all, the noodles themselves were just not good. In short, this place might work if you've never had real ramen--but if you know what good ramen tastes like, you'll leave underwhelmed. read more

If you have never been to this place, it's absolutely a must try. The best ramen I have ever had. I always get their gyoza. It's soft dough is falling apart and it's filled with juicy pork, topped with their incredible sauce. Comes with 5 of them in the order and if you are sharing it with another person, the 5th is out for grabs to the fastest . Their black roasted garlic tonkatsu is think creamy pork broth with nice slice of delicious pork, ramen, half an egg, green and fried onions that add an awesome flavor, pickled ginger, etc. Service is always fast and super friendly. read more

Still a delicious place to try they have added a few new items to their spring menu which included fried chicken and wonton and Karaage wonton ramen which consists of ramen, chicken wontons and breaded chicken so delicious and so much flavor, I of course got the tonkotsu red ramen and it is still 10/10 my favorite ramen bowl ever!!! The service is great!!! Personally I think it's the best ramen in town even though it's a 30 minute drive to get here. read more

It had been a while since I went. Figured to was perfect Ramen weather. And it was a great choice! Service was quick and smooth. The server Cesar was on it. Very attentive and knew how to manage a midday rush! He also had support from other teammates who ran the register and seating. Food over is excellent!! Very flavorful. I wish there was more calamari but I guess it worked out since it was only me. The amount of Calamari isn't bad for the price of $6. Next time I was to try the cod Donburri bowl. Favorite ramen place in Arizona! All my friends agree that this is the best in Tucson. Broth is so rich and vibrant. The noodles are perfect texture. And toppings are very nice (menma bamboo shoots and half an egg are nice touches.) I usually get the spicy tonkatsu ramen and will continue to order this every time. Tried the double ramen (half black garlic, half spicy) and really enjoyed the contrasting flavors but spicy will always reign for me. Very popular spot, only challenge is parking during prime hours. Outdoor seating is often easiest to get a table if at a peak time. Highly recommend. read more

I am obsessed with Ramen, I decided to order the house Ramen, the Obon, without the Bonito flakes because I'm not a fan. Looked good when it came, I just wasn't happy with it. It lacked something, umami, a well developed broth, who knows, I just know it wasn't what I normally like. It gave me heartburn from hell too. Overall, $150 later I left somewhat dissatisfied and disappointed. For a Sunday, at noon, four tables worth of patrons. Not loud, not super quiet, nice ambiance. I doubt that I'll go back, if we do, it will be for their $22 rolls of sushi.

I could eat these every time and never get bored. Next, we built our own Tachi burrito bowl and this is where Taichi really shines. The customization options are next-level. You can choose white rice, brown rice, no rice, and even a greens base. Then you get three proteins yes, three.
