We were sat immediately and orders taken quickly. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ate chicken teriyaki, crab puffs, miso ramen and two eel rolls. All which were good teriyaki did not have a ton of sauce which was a nice change. The restaurant was a decent size and not too loud. The portions are smaller than average for an $9 roll so just be prepared to order non sushi items or spend some money if you're super hungry. read more

I came here with a group of 7. If it were just me, I would have likely walked out. After being sat it took 20 minutes for them to take our drink orders and then another 20 minutes for our food order. After placing the order it was another 20 or so minutes for the food. The sushi was decent and fair pricing. I ordered 3 rolls, but probably could have eaten 4. Like other reviewers have stated, apparently to go orders are better from this restaurant. read more

Good food and nice service! Typical sushi restaurant ambiance and very busy for a Friday night. My husband loved the sushi he had and I had a beef bulgogi which was super salty. Too bad the sauce was so salty because the beef was nice and tender. If we ever go back there I will not be getting that beef entree and just maybe have some fried rice since I'm allergic to sushi. Our meal also came with miso soup for each of us and one small salad for me. The bill was over $65 before tip & taxes for all that food plus one soft drink. read more

Honestly, some of the best most fresh sushi in Tucson. We've been coming to this locally family owned spot for years and today we ventured in because we hadn't been in a while and it was all really outstanding. We ordered a few rolls: Alaskan and Dragon, eel, and mackerel, and melt in your mouth Otoro. Service was great, they checked on us numerous times. The interior is fun, colorful, and comfortable with plenty of tables. Overall, once again we had a lovely lunch for a Sunday sushi with friends. read more

Family owned vibes, laid back atmosphere. There were some fun, interesting rolls and nigiri available that I haven't seen elsewhere. As with other reviewers, I thought things could've been a bit cleaner (there was rice stuck on the bottom of one of my dishes and my fork had splotches), but service was attentive and our waitress came to check on food and drinks multiple times. The sushi we tried was fresh and flavorful, but the rolls definitely felt on the smaller side. read more

We did like this place we came here daily . but somethings going on with there chicken the last 3 times I've been here the chicken has been extremely dry. And there was missing fried veggies the 1 bannana 1 shrimp and 1 onion and a bellpepper were missing . Disappointing I did throw away the chicken read more

Really wanted to love this place -- it's a small, local sushi spot with a loyal crowd and super friendly service. Our waitress even went out of her way to hand-make a chili for us when we asked for more spice (which was such a nice touch). That said, the food itself fell a little flat. The dishes I tried just lacked flavor and depth -- nothing particularly bad, just not very memorable. On the bright side, they do offer a ton of vegetarian and vegan options, which is great for plant-based diners. Overall, it's a decent choice if you're nearby, but not one I'd go out of my way for. read more

I think I'll stick with my usual sushi place, O'sushi on Speedway and Swan. The service and food here were noticeably subpar.

Not much customer service walking in. We were directed to a table and sat there for a while before they brought menus. Drinks orders were also slow. The food did are quickly. We ordered 7 rolls and they were good. The restaurant was bigger than I thought. read more

For some reason I never experienced very good service here so I take my food to go. The place is super casual and not as clean as some other sushi places in town, however sushi here is pretty good. I ordered a squid salad which had a lot of flavor, Oregon roll was fresh and tasty. Their eel unagi is amazing read more

We got 3 high chairs and all 3 were very sticky and dirty. We left them out for her to clean and the waitress literally told us to put them back. I told her they needed to be cleaned before putting them back. She started making a scene and telling all the other customers around we were rude and got all the high chairs out and didn't put them back. I asked her to stop being rude and watch her attitude. She responded if you don't like it, you can leave. So we left. So disappointed, as we were regulars there and ate at that place at least once or twice a week. Never returning to that place for as long as that waitress works there. read more

Sachiko is our go to for sushi. Service can be hit or miss sometimes, but they are usually very busy and no one is slacking off. Carry out orders are reliable and I am always amazed that in this economy our bill is surprisingly reasonable! These days I feel like you get sticker shock when the bill comes out, but I've been pleasantly surprised that we can still get good sushi at a reasonable price point. read more

I have been wanting to stop by and try them out for a while now I'm glad my son decided to take us here for dinner. It's a very happening place. It was extremely busy, but the staffing was very nice and kind and prompt and letting us know that they'll be clearing a table for us promptly. A little bit of a wait but the food is well worth the wait times, when our food arrived all came out so fresh hot and delicious , full of flavor. Most items are priced for what you would expect at a sit down restaurant . Both of our waitresses were extremely friendly and provided fast service. Will definitely return for more read more

Sushi's not all that great, it's good but not great either. We've given this place a couple of chances but the service every time we go gets worse, even on a slow day the service draaaags, it's like they forget they have customer. The place is clean and well maintained and for that, a two stars. read more

Sachiko Sushi - Menu is all I got a photo cuz the service took so long! - Japanese Near Me - Tuscon, Arizona

For authentic Japanese cuisine on the East side, Sachiko is my go-to spot. Conveniently located next to Trader Joe's on Wilmot and Speedway, it's the place my family turns to for takeout whenever we're craving Japanese food. My personal favorites are the salmon kama and unagi--both consistently prepared to perfection. The restaurant is often full, so plan ahead for a little wait, whether dining in or picking up takeout, but it's always worth it. I also love the mom-and-pop feel, with pictures of their dishes displayed all around the restaurant, which adds to the charm. With friendly service and food that has been reliably delicious over the years, Sachiko has truly become a neighborhood gem. read more

Really good Sushi in Tucson. We liked the drinks and atmosphere. We ordered à la carte sushi and it was reasonable.

First off, the service was terrible. Everybody seemed very rushed and not willing to answer any questions about their menu. After receiving my order, I asked if I had received the correct order since it looked nothing like what I had ordered. Nobody spoke English well enough to seem to understand me or tell me what order I had been given. I ended up not eating the food because I was so angry with the whole interaction that I didn't want to eat the mystery meal I had been given and went home and cooked. Definitely will not ever go back. read more

Okay so i usually go to another sushi spot. But me and my husband wanted to try out a different spot. There was so many reviews for this spot so i thought okay yeah lets go. Oh no biggest mistake. So the sushi first off wasnt that good. The only thing i liked was their yellowtail. The salmon we kept choking on. The tuna was slimy. The crab puffs tasted weird and the sweet and sour sauce it came with was this unusal purple pink color. The teriyaki bowls were very rubbery and tasteless. Price was outrageous. I counted it up and there was 30 dollars unaccounted for. I didnt want to make a big scene so i just paid and started to leave. Thats not even the end of it. The lady came rushing to our table and got the bill and in front of everyone very loudly said "Theres no tip here!? You didnt put tip here?! We didnt charge you for tip? You need to put tip!?" I honestly thought maybe the unaccounted 30 dollars was some kind of automatic tip that was charged. I embarrassingly said sorry i thought you charged it and marked the tip and left. Im sorry but im never coming here ever again. Ive had way better sushi at Sushi Ten and i should've stayed away from this place. I have never felt the need to put such a review, but this was so unusal for me and i already suffer from anxiety so nope never again. read more

I was sad when they closed the other location so we had to drive up to try this one! It was delicious we got gyoza, two super Vegas rolls, a rainbow roll and a Philly roll. The service is slow and unfriendly. The spicy chicken I got to go did not have any spicy sauce on it and was tasteless. I'm not one to usually write reviews, but this was the worst dining experience I've ever had. My family and I came in at 6pm with a reservation to which the staff was already confused about. We got seated and a waiter finally came to ask us drink orders after 20 minutes of silence. We ordered food another 20 minutes later, only after calling a waiter over to us. The food took another 40 minutes, and we didn't even receive all of it. Only after another hour of part of my party sitting without food did I get up to ask somebody about our missing food items, which they brought out quickly. Here's the kicker... all of the food was terrible. The ramen that I ordered was terrible, a solid 2/10, and the sushi that my party was waiting over an hour for, was mushy and gross. read more

The sushi is average, there is nothing that stands out about it. The online order form wasn't working so I had to call. I always feel rushed when trying to order and they repeat back your order so fast that I miss half of it. This last time they charged me for an extra roll that I didn't order but apparently the person on the phone thought I did. They also don't give you an itemized receipt, they just tell you how much it is when you get there and take your card. It is usually ready quickly so that is a plus. They also keep increasing the price of everything by $1 every 6-12 months. read more

The place is t the best, they ALWAYS take forever, ALWAYS. After we where done I pay and we get up to leave and when we're walking out the woman chased us down and said "you no put no tip" as if my bill wasn't $70+, now a tip is optional weather people like it or not and I didn't leave it out on purpose, but chasing us down was completely out of line. I won't be going back to this place, I'm glad I used their sink as a toilet si ce the cómodo was out of service. read more
