Great attentive service. I ordered the shrimp and pork wonton soup. It was a generous size bowl. The noodles were great and the broth was delicious. My sister in law had the beef chow fun. She said it was good and it had plenty of beef and noodles. We will try the boba tea next time. read more

Where there's broth, we'll find it! My friend and I love a good soup shop. This was a great lunch together. Bamboo Noodle House is central and the parking lot is spacious. I loved walking through the arches and the water fountain sounds were a pretty touch! I ordered a Taro boba tea and it was delicious. I also ordered a shrimp wonton & pork bowl with rice noodles. It was tasty! We also ordered some dumplings and crab puffs, they were plump & good. We had nice friendly service and enjoyed the ambiance. The mini store next to the cash registers was cute too. We had a nice time and look forward to coming back! read more

First time here! Lots of spacious seating! Ordered the following: Seafood chow mein: solid dish here with the flavors and seafood. Beef chow fun: definitely could taste the wok. I would order this again. Good balance of flavors and meat and noodle ratio. Bbq pork lo mein: this surprised me. I loved it! Pork ribs appetizer: sweet and sour pork ribs that I thought were fine but would not order again. Shrimp and pork wontons with noodles: wontons were big but I was not a huge fan. Thai tea: flavor is good. Boba is a bit soft for my liking. Iced brown sugar boba tea: A bit sweet for me personally. Overall, I'm just happy there are more options out there. I would definitely come back here. Service can be a little show and food output also not quick, but that's to be expected with any new place. Keep up the good work! read more

Bamboo Noodle House - Bubble Tea Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

My husband and I decided to go to bamboo noodle house after I drove by and saw the sign earlier this morning. For several years, we were big fans of El Chinito Gordo, the owners decided to close the restaurant and rebrand the space to offer a successful menu based on an another location in Tucson called Bamboo Terrace. I didn't look ahead at the reviews for the restaurant until we were actually at the restaurant and based on that ordered the Chow Fun Beef for dinner. My husband ordered the orange chicken and then we ordered appetizers as a starter. We had very prompt and attentive service and decided to have hot tea with our meal, choosing their jasmine tea, which was good. The restaurant was fairly busy, but we were seated right away and were able to get our drinks and appetizer order in and brought out to us in about five minutes. The handmade dumplings are advertised outside the building, and were like pork empanadas with a thicker dough and a good amount of poor filling, served with a garlic soy sauce. We then ordered our entrees which came out well timed to when we finished our dumplings. I very much liked my chow fun noodle dish, which has flat broad rice noodles that were about 1 and 1/2 inches long. The dish isn't much to look out but tastes delicious. The strips of beef were tender and were well seasoned. My husband ordered orange chicken, which had orange peel strips tossed in the dish. He expected some spice to the dish and so was disappointed overall with the flavor and felt the chicken was dry. Overall we had slightly different experiences, as I loved my entire, the handmade dumplings were okay, our jasmine tea was perfect. While my husband felt his entree was disappointing. The seats are metal chairs with cushions and the dining space is able to accommodate large parties. We were seated and finished our meal and left within an hour. Overall a positive experience as I'd happily return for my entree but for someone wanting spice the food was not spicy. There were a few families with children for dinner. Bamboo Noodle House seems a good place for Chinese inspired food. The family behind us was reading their Chinese animal year character features aloud, off the placemat. I remember doing the same thing as a kid myself; a good memory for me and I imagine a nice experience/meal for them too. I'm excited to return and try their wonton soup dishes. read more

Pretty solid honestly. I got the beef chow fun. Noddles cooked perfectly. Beef cooked perfectly. My husband got the chicken lo mein he said it was salty but the noodles I. This lo mein were thicker than what I'm used to so I like that a lot. We tried their crab ragoons and they were okay nothing fancy there. I can't give a higher rating due to my lack of not visiting in person. My husband did the pick up. He said customer service was good. read more

I really wanted to enjoy this place and had high hopes because for some reason this location no matter what is there never does well. The service time was a little long and the food was mediocre. The hype online was just overrated. I ordered the dumplings and pork and shrimp noodle soup. The dumplings were good and would return for those possibly. The soup was super bland lacking flavor and would have loved it with some garnishments or something to add to it. I really hope they do well and this location stay up and running. read more

I wanted to like it more than I did. The service was good, and the food was fine, but it wasn't anything special. My husband had the beef lo mein and I had the princess chicken with rice. I liked the spice in the princess chicken, but I really wanted more vegetables. There were just a few tiny pieces of green pepper. I liked it and ate it all, but I wouldn't order this dish again. I'll go back and try the noodles, as it is a noodle house, I've heard good things about the beef chow fun. I also want to try the boba. The boba bar was cute and inviting, and all the teas look delicious! read more

Tried this new spot and the inside is very small and casual. We got here in time for lunch special and ordered the $12 lo mein. The portions are lunch sized for sure - a little small but good for lunch. The soup I thought tasted a lot like campbells chicken noodle, so not my favorite. But the lo mein was good! They have complimentary sauces and chili oil so that helped add some flavor as well. The servers were very nice & timely. A good casual spot but I do think that there are comparable spots in Tucson. Definitely worth a try! read more

The service was excellent. Our waitress, Alexis, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the quality of the service. One detail that often reflects the overall quality of an Asian restaurant is the hot tea. In this case, the hot green tea was very watery and almost tasteless, which set the tone for the rest of the meal. The dishes themselves seemed to follow a similar pattern of ingredient imbalance. The ratio of noodles to protein felt off, with very little noodle compared to the amount of protein. At the same time, the seasoning leaned heavily on salt rather than balanced flavor. If you're looking for depth of flavor, this might not be the best choice unless you enjoy very salty dishes. We also tried the dumplings, which had a somewhat unusual texture. They were crispy on the outside, but the inside was very gummy and almost soggy, which made them difficult to enjoy. The contrast didn't feel quite right and took away from what could have been a good appetizer. Portion sizes were also fairly small for the price, which made the meal feel less satisfying overall. While the service stood out in a positive way, the food didn't quite meet our expectations. We're not sure if we'll return, and it likely won't be at the top of our list. read more

Food and service were excellent! The restaurant was very clean, and I loved the courtyard with the pots and fountain. It was so relaxing to hear the water and see the beautiful flowers. Both the men's and women's bathrooms smelled fresh and clean, which says a lot. The entrance was beautiful, and everyone greeted us with a smile. A wonderful experience all around! read more

We had a wonderful dinner at Bamboo Noodle House on Oracle last night. It was our first time in. We were welcomed and seated right away. We ordered two mango iced teas, Diet Coke, crab puffs, sesame chicken, beef chow fun, and bbq pork chow mein. The food was fantastic. Very fresh, protein was plentiful, and the ingredients were fresh. Portions were decent size, definitely not too small but not a gigantic amount. Service was great and the food came out piping hot. In total with a 20% tip it was just shy of $100. We'll definitely be back! read more

This is a money laundering scheme just like chinito gordo was. Dumplings are chalky and have the dough consistency of little Caesar's crazy bread. Service is completely non existent. They have no staff. Noodles are over greased. This is not an Asian run restaurant and it shows. read more

This newly opened place is absolutely delicious. The servers were all very friendly and attentive. We tried the sesame chicken, beef chow fun and pork wonton soup with noodles. The sesame chicken was crispy and saucy, beef chow fun was very flavorful. The soup had the perfect base that you can customize with the variety of sauces and condiments available on the table. Very friendly service, delicious food, quick service, and dog friendly. We couldn't ask for more!

Not much of a greeting, and almost all the food arrived cold. The only good items would be the beef and broccoli, orange chicken, crab rein goons and the dumplings. The waitress was also very clumsy and rarely apologetic, she dropped a glass of water at the table behind us, and almost spilt the sweet and sour sauce all over us. read more

If you like wasting your money on mid, Americanized Chinese food, this is the place for you! I came here about 2 months ago when the place first opened - my friends picked this place out because they saw influencers on TikTok say it was good. Let me preface this review by mentioning I am second generation Asian American. So yes, I grew up around actual good Chinese food, and my stance is going to be based on that. If you're a person that considers orange chicken to be your favorite Chinese dish, you can ignore this review, as you will probably have an alright experience at this place. Food was simply bad. Bland flavors. Portion size was also terrible. Before I ordered a noodle soup (about 20 bucks after tax), I asked the waitress how big it is. She told me it feeds two people... did she mean two adolescent children? I promise I'm not a big back, this twenty dollar soup entree was essentially an appetizer. Also the kitchen has no Asian workers. Essentially just Edgars. Again, do not come here expecting authenticity in the flavors. Ambiance was fine. Location was terrible - in the hood. Hopefully this review saves some people from wasting their money. If you want actual good Chinese food here in Tucson for a cheaper/same price, I'd suggest Noodleholics or Juns Dynasty. read more

Bamboo Noodle House - Got the brocolli and beef, vegetable lo mein, and house fried rice - Bubble Tea Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Menu is limited. The service was very slow. I believe they only have one chef so meals come out slowly. It's a large space but not enough servers and chefs. I had the beef chow fun. The noodles were not wide as this dish requires but it was tasty. The tea came to us warm but not hot. I thought the server was going to refill my soda Glass but she never brought any back. read more

Had to stop by and try this place. Saw all the hype on social media and decided to check it out. We were greeted and shown to our table, this was the highlight of the visit. It all went downhill from there. There were maybe 6 tables of people, so restaurant was half empty. They had a million staff filling soy sauce bottles and cleaning tables that were always clean, and we sat there for over 15 minutes and no one came to our table. I went and asked the hostess if our server was ever gonna come, well 3 minutes later she comes to our table apologizing. Already they started off like crap, then we checked out the menu. There is literally 15-20 things on the menu, I had to flip the menu and see where the rest was. They had soups, fried rice and lo mein and a couple other dishes. No variety at all, so we ordered ice teas, crab puffs, egg rolls and three dishes, the sesame chicken, the chow fun and the lo mein. All of it came out, the crab puffs and egg rolls were drenched in oil, it was pooling on the plate and they tasted like oil. Totally unappetizing, then the lo mein and sesame chicken are super small portions and tasteless. The only good one was the chow fun. We let the server know the food was below par and that this is no where like their parent restaurant bamboo terrace. Horrible service, sloppy tasteless food and we got one refill on tea. What a joke. Don't fall for the influencers that get their meals free just to post how delicious things are. I know one thing for sure, once you try it. You won't want to try it again. I had high hopes for this place but it fell super short. I'd rather eat at Panda Express than here and I hate panda express Oh well, that's the last time I fall for these stupid influencer videos. I'll stick with the good places around town, like badar or bamboo view. What a complete let down, I may go back just to make a TikTok of it to show you how in fact it's all hype and they food is gross and the service is horrible. The hostess was the only positive thing during our visit. The owners really need to pay attention to customer service and have someone check the food quality. read more

Service: very good Food: wontons were big and tasty. The bok choy in the soup fresh. Noodles and broth were a bit bland for me. Maybe just my taste as my mom tasted the broth and she liked it. I will say the broth was very clear and mild. The add on bbq pork (char siu) was good, but only if you put in the soup ( as intended). I asked for it in the side, and eaten separately seemed a little dry. We also got a takeout broccoli and beef entree for my brother and he said it was good. The Chow fun was good. read more

I had the pleasure of trying Bamboo Noodle House a few weeks ago with some girlfriends. I was seated immediately during lunch time. It was a rainy afternoon, in which their cozy dining setting made perfect for. Greeted by my server, I believe her name was Alexis, in a timely manner. She was very personable, even started us off with ice waters before beginning. Always a plus! I opted to get a lunch special entree, which was decently portioned for a good price. They also offer boba teas, matcha, etc. I ordered a strawberry green tea with boba, was delicious. Overall, I'm very interested in returning to try more of what they have to offer. Mediocre Cantonese food at best. They don't use fresh ingredients, when I see a Chinese place use canned mushrooms that's an instant F in my opinion. The Cantonese style chow mein was excessively salty and I am one to enjoy a well seasoned dish but this was overwhelming. Then I proceeded to order a fried rice with chicken, can't be too hard to mess up. I received the fried rice and the rice was not cooked, it was crunchy. Yes I understand it was fried rice but this was not fully cooked rice with the rice grain still being crunchy and not fully cooked. This restaurant was overhyped and underwhelming. I'll just stick to Jun Dynasty. Also service was absolutely terrible, manager wouldn't even come to the table to see what the problem was. This place will not last with that kind of trash food. read more

Service was great, staff were friendly and attentive. The place is really cute and clean. The food is average, maybe just below average. The sesame chicken flavor was good but the chicken was tough/chewy. The dumplings tasted doughy and the crab puffs were 95% cream cheese. With the exception of the spicy beef noodle soup everything was almost room temperature. The soup was good but not a lot of actual meat and mostly fat etc. I won't be going back. 3 stars is fair because of the service. read more

Our waiter was kind and consistent, food was AMAZING and fresh. We ordered food and shared with family it was great, and the teas were perfect. My family and I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. After being seated, we waited approximately 10 minutes without anyone coming to our table to greet us or offer drinks. No server was assigned to us, and no one checked in during that time. To make matters worse, guests who were seated after us at the table next to ours were promptly greeted and asked for their drink orders while we were completely overlooked. I eventually went to the front desk to let them know that we had not been helped. We were told someone would be sent over, but after waiting an additional five minutes with still no acknowledgment, we decided to leave. As a customer bringing my girlfriend and two daughters out for a meal, I expected at the very least basic service and attentiveness. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests do not feel as disregarded as we did. read more

just got home from this place and as soon as i walked in i felt like i wasnt welcomed. waited for a few seconds to a minute and the ladies at the front just stared at me confused? asked me if i needed anything or if i was here for a pickup (im assuming doordash) i said that it was my first time here and i was alone, they again just looked at me confused and kept asking other staff to help me when eventually another staff member asked me if i had been helped (again) and i said no. at that point i was there for like 3 minutes and she walked me to the left side of the building where there was literally nobody at all. it seemed like they used the space as storage or for themselves. this one random guy was sitting across of me im assuming is their boss. i eventually got to order some beer and food and it was good. i did ask the lady serving me if there was a certain way to order here because i was confused since it was my first time and she was pretty short with me and looked at me confused and said its okay??? later on i had asked for a container for my food but i never mentioned wanting to pay. they brought me the tap to pay machine and said whenever ur ready and just left it on my table... one of their male workers kept glancing at me too. idk it felt like i was rushed to leave when i literally hadnt even finished my beer... at some point after i paid my server asked me from her bar if i needed anything else and i said no im still finishing my beer.. she eventually did come up to me and i asked her kindly again if there was a certain way of approaching this restaurant because it seemed like i caught the front desk by surprise since they hadnt asked me to be seated once. and she said no ur supposed to be seated and i asked her if there was a reason i got seated so far from everyone else or if i could have picked where i could have sat and she just said her boss told her to seat customers where i was. THERE WAS NO ONE BEING SEATED THERE BUT ME!! everyone got seated in the nicer area this is my first and last time going here. im the girl with the pink hair btw lol. respectfully ive had way better customer service at my bfs local wine restaurant. do not come here alone if u have colored buzzed hair as a female they will treat u differently!! read more

Bamboo Noodle House - mid food - Bubble Tea Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Saw this place all over social media and wanted to try it. The interior is nicely decorated. No greeting when we walked in, and we felt unwelcome there. No drinks, no silverware after asking 3 separate people. They are new, so maybe they will improve in the next few months. Would not say the staff is friendly or attentive. Service is so-so. We ordered the wonton noodle soup, 2 Cantonese chow mein, and chicken fried rice. The wonton noodle soup was good and I enjoyed it. The 2 Cantonese chow meins took an hour between each to come out. Portions are small. Tasted overly salty. Chicken fried rice was good, the rice was not hard or crunchy. I was most excited to try the boba drinks advertised on Instagram. I ordered a large expecting it to be the same one from Instagram, but was extremely disappointed because it was a size smaller than I anticipated. Lots of ice rather than tea. Food quality is ok, could be better. Time that food comes out needs improvement. The boba drinks feel like a scam. I won't be going back anytime soon. read more
