Good restaurant located right near the local university, community college, and downtown Tucson directly on Speedway & 6th. Featuring Chinese & Korean focus, ribeye seafood chicken & pork proteins adorned by quail eggs, traditional meat balls of wide acclaim known to many who enjoy Asian cuisine, and fresh vegetables of hearty or dainty likeness, and specialty assortment! Plus, the sauce bar where you mix your own dipping sauce from ingredients like Sriracha, soy, Ginger, sesame paste, fresh green onion and so much more. This is truly a well-designed concept restaurant with a strong emphasis service, quality, Care, and flavors of comfort.

5 spice tofu and seaweed salad, sesame scallion pancake and the sesame paste, chilli crisp and other sauces from sauce bar

I enjoyed most of the dishes I have tried here. My favorites are the thick handmade fresh Sesame Green Onion Pancakes (15 min prep time) with the sauces from the sauce bar and the 5 Spice Tofu & Seaweed salad. Last time my sesame green onion was undercooked with some raw dough taste but other times it was excellent. For vegetarian hotpot they have a curry broth and a veggie broth, I like the curry better as the veggie one was pretty bland and overall prefer the vegetarian hot pot flavors and experience at Pot Whale. The service is typically very good here and the atmosphere is pleasant. I am so happy they re-opened their outdoor tables.

Fried Chicken Dumplings (10). Tasty and loved the side sauce

I have wanted to try this for a while, but have been unlucky they have been closed for one reason or another each time I was in the area. I didn't really know what to order, but settled on the fried dumplings (10) and the House Hot Pot with pork and a side of soy egg. I was able to split the dumplings with my friend. There were very good and I appreciated the dipping sauce. The Hot Pot was ok until the server suggested adding some soy and sesame oil. I also chose to add some garlic. It really kicked up the flavor and was tasty. My friend got the Chicken Herb Soup and he really enjoyed it. When I come back, I am going to try it. The server was very helpful. He explained the options, and how it all worked. He came back several times to fill out drinks and make sure were enjoying our experience. While the setup was for a strip mall, the decor was not old and out-dated. It felt new and refreshed. It is a great place for a quick lunch bite.

Customer service was superb. Everyone was friendly, attentive, personable, and informative. They answered our questions about the food and even connected with us through personal experiences, which made the visit feel warm and welcoming. The food and flavors were excellent. Everything was aromatic, fresh, savory, and had a satisfying kick. The ambiance was cozy and creative. There was plenty of space and lots of glass so you could see right into the kitchen, which added a fun and open vibe. I can't wait to go back. Everything was absolutely delicious.

We had such a nice dinner at eHotPot! Service and food were absolutely fabulous. The seafood hot pot set came with a lot of ingredients, including a full lobster tail and generous number of prawns. The Chinese chicken soup was legit and tasty. Everything we tried was authentic and well done. We're looking forward to our next visit.

It happened while we had friends visiting from out of state--we decided on Taiwanese-style hot pot, and what a wonderful dinner it was. From the great appetizers and drinks to the rich, comforting soups, everything was spot on. Our server, CoCo, was attentive and welcoming, and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. We highly recommend the Iced Smoked Plum Juice; you'll never forget the balance of plum sweetness and smoky fragrance. The hot Oolong tea was also equally refreshing. We tried the Chief's recommendation - Jiao-Hou Jiao-Hou, the numbing pepper sauce with smoked tofu, beef shank, seaweed... absolutely remarkable! 5-Spice Popcorn Chicken was also a fantastic choice, especially with an icy cold drink. We ordered 2 Hot Pots, a traditional Chicken Herbal Pot and the Taiwanese BBQ Sauce (Sha-Chai) Pot; we thought we were visiting Taipei. We can't waiting to come back for another delicious adventure!

I was surprised how nice and neat this place is! Everything looks clean and new. Well maintained dining room. Tables and chairs are clean. Our server, Andrew is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. He's very attentive and patient to our needs. Food is good and priced just right. Next time, we'll try more and make sure we'll come hungry. I highly recommend this place.

Overall rating: 4/5 Wait: 4/5 Arrival time: Saturday 12:30pm Food: 3.5/5 Order: Spicy Taiwan Beef Noodle Soup, Chinese BBQ Sauce Hot Pot Service: 4.5/5 Price: 3.5/5 Worth a try but probably won't be back The service at eHotpot was exceptional, making the dining experience pleasant. The food, however, was quite ordinary and didn't stand out. Given Tucson's limited Asian food options, it's a decent choice, but the prices are on the higher side. For those living in Phoenix, where there are more good Asian food options, this place may not be worth the trip. Overall, it's worth trying once but not compelling enough for a return visit.

My daughter and I tried this restaurant for the first time today. We wanted an experience, and our expectations were met and ten some. From the time that we entered the nicely decorated entrance and were seated until the time we left, all was perfection. Our server, Andrew, was a delight! He was so welcoming and informative. Plus, he tended to our needs without being asked. When I asked for a recommendation for something to take home to my husband that would travel well and not be soggy, he provided his suggestion with ease. The food was exceptional and authentic. I had the seafood hotpot, and my daughter built her own. The fresh ingredients danced across my palate, and the serving sizes were generous. We both took some home as leftovers. We will definitely be back and will recommend without reservation to our friends.

    Disgusting ramen
    Blue B.

Absolutely dreadful, tasteless no matter how many things you get from the bar to spice it up. Despicable hot pot experience not fresh ingredients 4 dollars to add ramen to my bowl waste of money. The waiter was at least nice. Save your money don't come here.

    Spicy Taiwan Beef Noodle Soup

Decided to try this place after going to a football game my son and I do love Asian food. And we got there. There was only two other people there eating. It was very quiet and empty. Each table had their own burners on them kind of reminded me of like the melting pot. The menu was not as attractive as I would've hoped. We had the fried dumplings as an appetizer which were really good and I was craving soup, but didn't want to take the time to make my own and wait for it to cook as that is the main concept of this place I had the spicy noodle beef soup. The picture looks fantastic. It smelled great however it was just beef broth, rice noodles, couple of bok choy and an egg. The flavor was bland. It was almost too spicy to enjoy. I think I will stick to Miss Saigon. Our server was very nice and attentive. She kept busy and was very informative on the menu.

It doesn't feel like any other restaurant, it feels like you are at somebody's house. Here's the thing, I came in expecting the usual Chinese food affair, but I left genuinely surprised and impressed. This restaurants specializes in Southern Chinese food, which is different from other regions. I am so happy this restaurant and its chains helps the cuisine gain exposure and adds depth to Chinese food in general. Even better, the menu is laid out in a way that it is easy to understand: gluten-free options, allergies, and spice level. The service was great. All though it isn't a "full" sit-down restaurant, everybody there seemed to know the menu well and was happy to be there. As a Cantonese person, it was nice hearing my language being spoken in the kitchen. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean and very modern. We came during early dinner time so the parking lot was near empty and easy to park. Overall, if you've never had Southern Chinese food or are looking for something more authentic than classic Chinese takeaway, definitely check out this location. The cherry on top are the big portion sizes and the price.

Promptly seated, drinks brought out, order taken and food delivered fast, hot and correct. The background music was some chinese music tv station playing modern easy listening tunes and, along with the comfortable chairs and solid table made for a relaxing environment. The food? meh. You can see our order in the latest photo and how expensive it was. the Lo Mein was mostly tasteless and certainly lacking in thast "lo mein flavor." Although the meat was tender, the sauce was just a sticky brown sauce. Surprisingly, the Spicy Pickle Tofu was essentially the same sticky brown sauce as the Lo Mein but with some fried tofu in it and without the noodles but nothing otherwise remarkable. You can tell by looking at my earlier picture attached. The old picture shows a bright and colorful plate. The dish today was a dark brown (you could hardly see the tofu from the beef) as everything was just dark. Eggplant seemed to have a similar brown sauce as well but the eggplant was otherwise tasteless. Nothing popped. Chicken bites were bland and not at all crunchy. Just fried to soft texture but no real flavor. According to our server, the menu was just recently updated about a month ago. We noticed because one of our favorites was the Fried Taro Pie which is now gone from the menu and the server said yes, that's right. Maybe this place has a new owner or chef, but it's no longer in my top asian restaurants for Tucson.
