This is one of our favorite Chinese restaurants in town. We always enough for leftovers for the next day. This time we ordered the BBQ pork lomein, shrimp with lobster sauce and sesame beef. Great as usual. The hot & sour soup is delicious but we did not order this time. This time we dropped in during lunchtime since we were out and about in town.... very quiet with soft music in the background. Noticed they do quite a bit of takeouts. Service is wonderful and very customer-service friendly, anticipating our every need. read more

Their food is always good, I go here often. When dining in, the staff is wonderful, always friendly and quick. When taking out, the food is always just as good and ready on time and ready to go. I especially like their cashew chicken lunch special or dinner special. I've lived in several big cities, and this place not only delicious, but also quick and conveniently located on the eastside with decent parking too. read more

Cozy, quiet restaurant that's practically at the edge of town. It's your basic Chinese-American menu with no signature dishes, but they have some cool dinner specials that come with fried rice, egg roll, wonton, and soup. What I liked: The service was quite kind and composed, especially after dealing with some rude customers that were holding everything up. The appetizers were nice and I enjoyed the crab wontons, which were rich with scallions and fried to perfection. What I didn't like: My poor orange chicken was overcooked to oblivion, with some of it having a jerky-like texture. Tried the beef and broccoli which was adequately cooked but way too salty IMO. Update! I'm raising my review to four stars. Ordered spicy House Lo Mein and it was tasty. The container was filled to overflowing and chock full of shrimp, chicken, and tender beef. The noodles were just chewy enough and the gravy was flavorful. Other than it could have been spicier, I was very satisfied. Yum! read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant appears to be used mostly as take out, so it is very nice to be the only one sitting in. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. The food is delicious and they give very large portions, I don't think I've been somewhere with such large portions before. The takeout portions are significantly smaller (takeout box sized) but still delicious! My only complaint would be the menu items do not have a description of what they are, so as someone who does not understand the language ordering was a bit difficult. This place is kind of a hidden gem. 95% of their business is take out. We have ordered takeout before and it was good. In person is definitely better. Fresh. Made to order. Two of our meals were kids, which don't come with soup but they gave us soup with them any way. Just a nice touch. They are super friendly and generous with the portions. read more

This place is a true find:) The moment I walked in the door, the service was excellent--friendly, genuinely happy to have me dine in. I ordered a Kung Pao Chicken dinner, which came with my choice of steamed or fried rice, my choice of flower or sour soup, and the chicken entree. I also ordered crab puffs, which came with sweet and sour dip. All the food was fresh, hot and served promptly, and the place itself was spotlessly clean. They even offered me coupons to use! We ordered take out for the first time on Mother's Day. The girl on the phone/behind the counter was friendly. We ordered house fried rice, beef lo mein, orange chicken and pot stickers. All of that came out to $54, I feel like that's a bit expensive especially given the portion sized we received. It was tasty though! read more

This is the first time I could not rate 5 stars for this restaurant. I couldn't even finish my (expensive) food it was so bad. It seemed like food that had been reheated, not freshly prepared: mealy shrimp, crunchy rice, rough and stringy vegetables. It was lukewarm upon delivery and late (deliveryman admitted that he had been across town and told "my" location to make sure someone else delivered my food, but that it was still sitting there when he returned later...). Sorry to give a bad review because I realize it affects people's livelihood, but I hope management takes notice. They really need to fix the flickering lights in the dining room. Many of the lights in the dining room flicker at random intervals -- it's very disturbing. They know about the problem. The hot sour soup is very sweet, sugary, and starchy thick. The moo goo guy pan was pasty with way too much cornstarch for me. Again, I hate writing bad reviews, but hopefully they will notice and make some changes. The server was super nice. read more

If I could give a 0 I would. My husband and I both ordered Orange Chicken. My husband had steamed rice I had fried rice, both an egg roll, fried wontons and egg drop soup. Both meals were cold, the chicken had been cooked in the microwave because the meat was chewy and tough. The way things microwaved too long get chewy and rubbery. Egg rolls cold, rice cold, chicken cold. We should have taken the hint, there was no one else in the restaurant accept for us. One guy trying to keep up with everything. Will never come back.. We've lived near this restaurant for 5 years and have gotten take out from here almost the entire time. However we chose to cook every meal at home for over a year recently due to the pandemic. It was hard, we missed their lo mein (and chicken in foil!) so much. And just having someone else do the cooking. I've never cooked every meal for a year before. It's definitely still as good as we remembered! We've only had take out from here since reentering society. Sadly we'll be moving next month. Wanted to write a positive review before moving. We visited here because we purchased a Groupon. This will be a review written from this perspective. 1. Those with a Groupon cannot use it to order from the lunch menu. 2. An 18% gratuity is automatically charged. As a result, it was not worth buying the Groupon. It is a better value to purchase the lunch specials. As for the food, portion were average size. We disliked the egg drop soup, it reminded us canned sweet corn that was ground up. Worse, it was lukewarm. We both selected shrimp curry and it tasted good. The vegetables were not cut into small pieces and there was little sauce. The shrimp was like rubber; in my experience it happens when it's over cooked. Had we not purchased a Groupon, the two entree's would have cost $27 due to 18% gratuity and they charged for hot tea, which tasted like it was made with unfiltered water. We saved $7 with Groupon. Overall disappointing experience and won't be back. read more

As I was prompted to be delicate because of covid-19 I sit here very disappointed to write this review. First of all let me say that my order was not difficult I mean come on people it was beef and broccoli for god sakes beef and broccoli I ordered over the phone for pickup. I spoke with Ahasteen, I gave him instructions please over cook the broccoli that's simple I want the broccoli really squishy mushy overcook it please stress this to the Cook. Well apparently the cook didn't like getting revised orders. I picked up my order went home to eat. This has got to be the worst beef and broccoli I have ever ever had. I have noticed a trend in restaurants lately really putting out poor quality food and smaller portion sizes. Covid-19 has nothing to do with beef and broccolis poor quality. The broccoli was not overcooked, the meat was flavorless, very chewy and dry. There was hardly any brown sauce to speak of it was mostly broccoli, firm broccoli. I paid $11.90 for this food and gave Ahasteen a tip for effort asking the cook with exclamation points to over cook my broccoli. I used to go here all the time because they had really good egg foo young makes me a little worried what that tastes like now once in a while we would get it and it would be undercooked but... As I sit here trying to finish this review my stomach is grumbling Lord please help me not get sick. read more

Terrible food with all black soy sauce, instead of chop suey wok gravy. Terrible pork in the sweet n sour pork, was old, dried out, with hard breading like way past leftovers. Got stomach upset with diareah. Ordered steamed rice on all dishes, and got fried rice - again old like old left out all day under a light with eggs in it too, could be going bad soon. Called to tell them, and they said, yeah we know, we are out of white rice, so we are putting fried rice in everything, and did not offer any remedy, they did not mention this when we ordered. This place used to be a good place to get pretty standard Chinese takeout. However, the last two times I ordered egg foo young it was too thick and therefore raw in the center of all the patties. The first time we took it back to get cooked, the second we just asked for a refund. Also, their prices have gone up substantially in recent months. So disappointing. read more

I had a huge craving for beef with Hong Kong (Cantonese) noodles. I looked at a lot of menus on line and came across this restaurant. Placed an order to go. I was told 15 minutes. Came back 20 minutes later and waited another 10 minutes - no one was in the restaurant. I did special order most of what I ordered. I looked in the bag and the order was not right. I ordered no vegetables on most of the dishes but still received vegetables in all of them. I did state that green onions were fine. The noodles in every dish were over done. The sweet and sour chicken was crunchy. The rice was dry. The noodles with the Hong Kong beef were so overdone that they broke off on the fork into little mooshy pieces. I met some friends here for lunch recently. Some of the group had buffet, while others of us ordered from the menu. I ordered from the menu, and I can't recall exactly what it was because it was simply not worth remembering. The sauce was thick and not very flavorful. The vegetables were simply ok, but some pieces of broccoli were so large that I had trouble eating it. The buffet seemed like an average selection of average food. The staff was very nice, but I won't be back to see them again. read more

This is the second time in a row that my order has been wrong. There is a red headed young man who has been responsible for both. I called tonight and placed my order. I told him multiple times that I was ordering three things. I get there and he has only placed an order for two. Same ad the previous time. while I was waiting for the third part of my order to be cooked, I asked him not to let my food get cold. I was looking over the menu and noticed he had over charged me. He actually had the nerve to say, " it's only a dollar or so." I asked for my money back so he went to get the manager. She was ever so nice and tried to make up for it. I then found out that the first part of my order had been sitting out getting cold. This idiot had the nerve to say, " you can just take it home and nuke it." Excellent EGG FOO YOUNG I get every time I order - also there, Lo Mein, heck everything is really good - we have had problems over the years - the order is wrong or the wait is so much longer then stated - but honestly it's great food.
