It's conveniently located from the hotel. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. This restaurant still has that old time mom and pop Asian family feel it's a definite classic type vibe with an older Chinese up front taking orders and the rest of the family in the back cooking and putting to go orders together. I've been there many times i've enjoyed Pod stickers, Hot and sour soup, wonton soup as Appetizers And a large war wonton soup Mongolian beef, Mushu shrimp mushu pork, Sesame chicken, curry chicken and Singapore noodles my favorite for dinner. It's about being realistic this is not a mall based restaurant or a high end bistro somewhere. The food was well prepared hot and delicious. I always like to support a local family owned business. It's good value for the money. With great food excellent service and a nice atmosphere. I am sure I will back next winter.

My husband and I are regulars here. They offer wonderful dishes with terrific flavors and ingredients. It's a great place to either eat in or take out. The service is always friendly. Go China Valley!

Had dinner here for the first time and will definitely be going back. Clean, quiet (I think they do more takeout then sit in), the waitress staff were friendly, attentive, and very nice. The food.... excellent. Best Chinese that we've found so far in the Tucson area. I had the Broccoli in Hot Garlic Sauce. Spicy, broccoli was fresh and crisply sauteed. Hubby had the Happy Family that consisted of chicken, shrimp, imitation crab meat, and vegetables in a cream sauce. He enjoyed it...items were fresh and the sauce was good without being overpowering. Prices are comparable to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Give them a try!

Although service was lacking and not attentive. We got the spicy crunchy shrimp, the crab puffs and the pork pot. Shrimp was amazing and deliciously spicy. The next day for take out it was overcooked and rubbery. The crab rangoons dining in were also fantastic. I was mind blown. For takeout they were undercooked. Lastly the grilled pork pot for dine in was just okay. I would lot order again. Flavor lacks and pork could have been softer. Presentation is beautiful tho. We also got Xiao Long Bao, broth filled dumplings, which were overcooked and busted so we didn't get to enjoy the soup inside. We were also served this with forks and not spoons for the correct way to enjoy it. Very strange. I may dine in again but I wouldn't rush to come back.

We pulled up to a completely full parking lot and a crowd of people waiting out front, which is always a promising sign. When we asked for a table, we were quoted a pretty long wait. To be fair, we did not make a reservation, so that one is on us. Normally I am not the type to wait that long, but the restaurant smelled absolutely amazing. That aroma alone convinced us to stick it out, and I am so glad it did. Once we were seated, our drink orders were taken and delivered quickly. The menu had a wide variety of dishes, including several vegetarian and vegan options, which we really appreciated. It would have been helpful to have more detailed descriptions on the menu, but our server was happy to answer questions and walk us through everything. We ordered the ma po tofu, braised tofu with vegetables, and vegetable chow fun noodles. My daughter went with the orange chicken and wonton soup. About ten minutes later, the noodles and soup arrived. The bowl of soup was big enough for the entire table, which made my daughter very happy. The noodles were delicious, and shortly after we started eating, the rest of the dishes came out. The braised tofu was loaded with large chunks of bell peppers and flavorful black mushrooms. The ma po tofu came in a vibrant red chili sauce topped with Szechuan peppercorn and brought just the right amount of heat. Everything was absolutely delicious. I am really glad we decided to wait and give this place a try. Jun Dynasty definitely earned a spot in our dinner rotation, and we will be back soon.

We have been here twice in a few weeks because this is our new favorite Sushi restaurant…read more The restaurant is clean and has a simple style. The staff are very friendly. The amount of sushi you get compared to cost makes it very affordable. The plating is amazing as you can see in the photos. We opted for the combos which come with several pieces of sushi and some come with sashimi as well and rolls. The cuts of sushi were large and fresh. There was wasabi and ginger if you enjoy those. The rolls were creative and delicious. Our favorite was Ni Bistro roll followed by the Emerald. The sushi"wich" was very creative and looked like a sandwich. The Ni Bistro was full of flavor and had a lot of pieces. Overall, we highly recommend this new find on the Northwest side!

Surprisingly bad. I ordered the chicken and pineapple fried rice and a spicy tuna roll…read more Both were the worst I've had. The spicy tuna roll was especially strange - it had no flavor. I didn't know what I was eating. Eventually I could pick up some spiciness, but it was subtle. It was so bland and mushy, I wasn't even sure I was eating tuna. At one point I pulled a piece of the roll apart to take a closer look. I couldn't tell if it was tuna or not - I assume they use some kind of filler ingredients in addition to tuna (maybe that's normal for spicy tuna rolls, but they normally taste much better than this). The fried rice was the worst I've had, though still edible. The pineapple was strange in that it didn't taste like pineapple - I guess it wasn't ripe yet. So no pineapple flavor in the pineapple fried rice. Beyond that, the dish was bland. The unfortunate reality is that Tucson has low standards for Asian food, and shockingly bad places can stick around for years. Some of you remember Yokohama Rice Bowl, a local fast food chain, which was awful, and immediately displaced when Panda Express arrived, which is 10x better... It's too bad that Ni's isn't trying to do something great.
