I'd heard this little walk-up coffee stand was open in Summerhaven. When I was up in the village for another reason, I stopped by to try it out. For such a small shop, they had a good menu. I tried a decaf latte, which was great. Outside the shop they had a counter with various creamers and sweeteners to add to your coffee if you wanted. I was happy to see they had stevia packets. They also had some local pastries if you wanted a little treat. My friends split a raspberry crumble cookie which they said was delicious. The worker says business has been good. They are working on getting WiFi set up so they can take credit cards. Right now it's cash only. I expect that to be changed very soon. It's a lovely place to grab a coffee, enjoy the scenery, and relax.

The lemon of Mount Lemmon…read more The allure of a nice warm cookie on a snowy day seemed natural on a trip to the snow with our toddler. Everything about our experience at the Cookie Cabin was unpleasant. One would expect that a bakery opens at 11am because the food is being prepared. Not only were the cookies not ready - we had to wait for 30 minutes for one of them. Thank goodness there is a decent patio with tables and seating. The staff was unfriendly - as if we were an inconvenience to them. Both the oatmeal raisin and the Rachel cookies were inedible - something was repellent about the base dough. Needless to say, 90% of our food ended up in the trash (we saw other customers tossing their food too). 45 minutes of our snow day wasted. Convinced that the scarcity of amenities on the mountaintop is the only thing keeping this business running - it certainly isn't their product.

Topped with ice cream, it's the best dessert on Mount Lemmon! One day, we decided to try their pizzas and they were also very delicious! However, just today at 12 noon, we went for pizza and a cookie. Our pizzas were not hot like they were during our first pizza experience here. They were barely warm. My daughter bit into her pizza and the cheese completely came off in one piece because the cheese was cold. The flavor was there and I love the crust, but it would be great if they made the pizza to order so it's nice and hot or that they keep it really warm somehow. Service is great. The cashier was very friendly. One of the staff members in the kitchen looked like they wanted to be elsewhere and not there.

I have visited this place 4×3 out of four times I have not had service…read more My first time ever was when I first moved to town and my mother-in-law bought me a cup of coffee on our way back to our rental that we had and the coffee was just subpar not very strong light flavor and this is just like your average cup of Joe The other three attempts is me living here, a tired mama, trying to get a cuppa coffee while my baby naps First attempt, I sat behind a car that had no one in it on the right side window Second attempt there is a line of cars, maybe three ahead of me on the left side window and I sat for over 20 minutes and then I just left service was way too slow for a cup coffee The third attempt was today where I sat on the left side where it seems that should be the window that's always open. I sat behind one additional vehicle for over 10 minutes and neither of us service. On my drive to Walmart I saw that the right hand side was the side that was actually open My biggest complaint is what windows are open. Can there be a sign? And if you're going to have two windows that are possibly open why not work both of them and why does it take over 10 minutes to receive a cup of coffee just a normal cup of coffee I do know that they have the lock up window option, but if I was going to walk up anywhere to get a cup of coffee, it would be wake and bake And honestly if wake and bake, had a drive-through, I wouldn't even attempt to go to Mad ever again, but this is the only place you can drive-through and get a cup of coffee

It's nice to have a place to grab a coffee (hot or iced) while strolling thru Summerhaven…read more(Mt.Lemmon). There is one picnic table and so don't count on sitting around to have your drink. Expect a bit of a wait because it's just one person doing it all ( and mind you this space is not large and you more than 1 barista can get a little too crammed). But for one person, she was reasonably quick and the wait no more than some coffee joints with more than one person slinging drinks. I was genuinely surprised the drink had a little caffeine kick ( sometimes I find coffee trucks/ drive thrus to overdo it on the flavor versus having good espresso). Nothing fancy. They offer alternative milk options. Prices are reasonable for location/ tourist spot. Not a place I would drive to Summerhaven specifically for nor would I rate it the same if it was in San Diego for example. But it's not a chain joint, it's access to coffee in the mountains and service was super nice. I will be visiting again the next time I am in Summerhaven.

Nearly $18 bucks post tip, which wasn't worth the service, size, portioning and taste. We ordered two cappuccinos (mind I remind anyone that a cappucino is traditionally a small 4-5 ounce serving or equal parts espresso/milk/foam) and what we got was to me, two lattes. The smallest 'cappucino' is a 16oz, the milk was foamed and the espresso tasted burnt. The service was okay. The staff was younger. The space okay. It has two benches outside uncovered and not readily taken but anyone. It a cute little place and has so much potential truly. A few changes and a little more intention and this could be a coffee haven in summer haven. I think about the amount of tourist coming through this great place of Tucson/lemmon and either getting things and feel disappointed or just unknowingly getting things that aren't worth the money and don't really represent in a inviting way. I hope more for it.

Not overly sweet ....perfect. They are located in La Encantada near the Campbell entrance across from North. It's a walk up but no one seems to mind me pulling up and parking for a minute to grab my drinks. The pastries are delicious...Almond, Pistachio, Nutella, and White Chocolate croissants...worth the carbs and calories. The aesthetics are really cool. They just added a bench and have tables to sit if you want to sit for a while and get some work done. The vibes is fresh and elevated without a hint of pretentiousness. The employees are friendly and helpful. Parking is not an issue. I would highly recommend you check this coffee shop out. I go her almost daily and have only great things to say

I was after something basic, my usual of a cold brew with some variety of flavor and almond milk. Sadly, they did not have any sugar free flavorings beyond matcha, which I was not interested in, so I went for half sweet salted caramel with almond milk. I went with a large cold brew and with the add-ins, it came to around $5, which is a solid price! Sadly, the iced coffee was not good. It was borderline sour, which means it had been hanging out for a bit too long. The flavoring and milk couldn't even mask it and I could only stomach about half of it before calling it a day. Additionally, service was "bleh". Both baristas I encountered were low energy and just odd vibes for a cute local coffee shop. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, as it sounds like their more complex house drinks are a bit more exciting. Now I know, and I wouldn't mind giving them a second go when I find myself back in the area. But until then, solid 2.5 for me.
