It's kind of a shame that you can't sit inside, but sitting outside was just as nice considering the location. The staff have always been nothing less than lovely every time I've been here. One time, I confided in one of the workers that I was having a rough day, and they actually gave me a discount and sent me off with well wishes. May all customers be kind to them. read more

Amazing snow tea and service! Had the snow cone, solstice with green tea (there is a decaf option green tea too). The ice was so smooth. They brew all of their teas fresh every day from loose leaf that they source from all over the planet. About their tea from the website: "Our black tea is a special blend of four teas from India and China. Hibiscus from Egypt. Green tea from China. Yerba mate from Brazil. Mint and spearmint from the good ol' USA. White tea from China. Rooibos from South Africa. Cinnamon from Indonesia." The menu has okay teas, tea lattes, snow tea and tea soda. The combinations are fascinating and interesting! I'm a matcha drinker and started with that as my first try. The Overseas is matcha, peppermint and mango. I swapped the mango for vanilla and added oat milk. It was a really interesting and refreshing combination! The thing I like the most about Transit Tea is all of their options! At first, it was a little confusing on how to order. I'll admit I'm not super knowledgeable about tea and the menu was overwhelming. Luckily, the staff was super helpful and I ended up finding a green sparkling tea I really enjoyed! Since my first time there, they've changed the menu up even more to be easier to follow and understand, but don't hesitate to ask for suggestions as there is still a lot going on. You start with your base tea (black, white, green, etc) and then get to add flavor combinations. My go to is the sparkling green bayou, but I'm interested in trying more combos. Hello friends! Confession time...I've never been a fan of teas (even though my wife is from England and loves her afternoon tea. Yes, afternoon tea is a real thing). So my first trip to Transit Tea I wasn't expecting much, but this creative unique tea shop has won me over and has become a favorite. Pulling up and seeing the menu, you realize there is much more to tea than just regular old sweet iced tea or peach tea. You ever had a tea latte? How about a tea soda? Do you even know what a tea snow is? Me neither but now we can find out at Transit. And each of these has unique blend of flavours that I was stuck for 5 mins reading their entire menu cause I never heard of any of these tea drinks. Toasted marshmallow. Tiramisu. Lavender (I thought that was only a candle scent, now it's a tea ingredient. Brilliant.) I've tried the Optimist and the Interstellar. Both have been very different but great taste to each. Only down side would be they are a bit pricey for a drink but you pay for good stuff and Transit has the goods. My wife enjoyed her hot chai tea as well even in 100 heat. (She ordered it hot. Found this place looking for something new to try. I was happy to find that they had low sugar chai sweetened with monk fruit. I have to say that it tasted fantastic. There are plenty of other drinks on the menu as well, and the person I was with said they are very good. The drive thru wasn't busy, and I was able to get in and out pretty quick. While everything was perfect, I have to knock off a star due to my cheapness. If you want an alternative milk in your drink, it is going to cost you $2. That's quite a mark up, when the typical charge is less than a dollar, and on a rarity some places don't even upcharge for that. read more

I tried Transit Tea today and it was incredible, I love Maya Tea so having this new concept open is too cool. I've been checking social media awaiting their opening and it's here!! I tried the Wanderlust Tea Soda (such a cool name) and it was an incredible mix of flavors. It was Yerba Mate, Passion Fruit, and Cherry Blossom. The tea soda was sweet but not overwhelmingly so. I drove through today, which I appreciate as an option but I can't wait to go inside to see the space. Our favorites so far are the Solstice and Kaleidoscope - the elderflower and toasted marshmallow flavors were not overpowering at all, and the fruit flavors added but did not take away from the flavor of the base teas. I've also had the iced Heritage Chai with oat milk which was a nice balance of spicy and creamy. When the woman handed me my tea she said "here's your Northstar". SO I'm not sure if she just said the wrong name or if she gave me the wrong drink!? I stopped in on Saturday after a trip to Bookman's and couldn't decide what to get - I changed my mind a few times, and then I saw that the Watermelon/toasted marshmallow tea soda was listed as a fav, so I went with that!
