Wow, I wish I had discovered Breadsmith sooner! Fresh bread and bakery items with clean ingredients! Great customer service, I love that they let me look at the ingredient list of the breads! I got a free chocolate chip cookie since it was my first visit and it was huge! If you sign up online you get points for your purchases. I purchased a sourdough and French peasant loaf and they are both delicious! It's some of the best bread my partner and I have ever had! They recommended freezing a loaf if it wasn't going to be consumed in a few days. Since the bread is fresh and doesn't contain preservatives, it doesn't last long at room temperature. I can't wait to try more items!

Just went to Breadsmith in Oro Valley for the first time in a while and I'm so glad I did! Came out with more than I planned on buying because there were so many delicious offerings. All the great bread I was used to, but so many new bakery options: cookies, bagels, scones, cinnamon rolls, croissants (almond croissant is incredible) brownies and an irresistible turtle bar. Also delicious sounding coffee/drink selection. I met the new owner that took over last November and she is so sweet, and her adorable employee (son ) Matthew. I'll be back soon!

Our first time here, my husband loves all kinds of bread. As we walked in theres this big display of different preserves, marmalades, etc. The person who helped us is very friendly and informative. It's a very simple and small bakery. I didn't see any table or sitting area. And the place although small is well kept. Really clean. We tried all of our bread at home and everything is really fresh and delicious! Can't wait to get the pizza dough from them. Definitely coming back.

I absolutely love this place!! I got my friend hooked on my favorite- the sourdough bread & she always grabs a loaf before her flight back home to Vegas. From the bread to the cookies and dessert loaves, this adorable bread store gives you all the good happy vibes that come with their outstanding quality & taste!! I am never buying grocery store bread again!

Yummies local honey & jams

Good yummers here. Homemade breads, local honey and jams. Looks so inviting (even though I have x-ed white flour from my diet). We ended up with 2 scones ($7) and a sourdough bread ($7). Wow. I almost got a pack of biscottis for a friend $7 for 3 and decided to try chosen my goodies first before getting more. The scones were good at first. But then my partner remarked the flavor reminded her of bisquick. I thought it might be their own mix, just heavy on the baking soda. Then we tried the sourdough bread. I hate to report, but both of us ended up with upset guts. No kidding. Unsure as to why? Gluten? On a sourdough I've heard that the starter makes the release of glucose slower. Whatever the reasons, it was a good exploration of a bakery I hadn't seen, but for me and mine, for some reason it just didn't jive.

Not overly sweet ....perfect. They are located in La Encantada near the Campbell entrance across from North. It's a walk up but no one seems to mind me pulling up and parking for a minute to grab my drinks. The pastries are delicious...Almond, Pistachio, Nutella, and White Chocolate croissants...worth the carbs and calories. The aesthetics are really cool. They just added a bench and have tables to sit if you want to sit for a while and get some work done. The vibes is fresh and elevated without a hint of pretentiousness. The employees are friendly and helpful. Parking is not an issue. I would highly recommend you check this coffee shop out. I go her almost daily and have only great things to say

I was after something basic, my usual of a cold brew with some variety of flavor and almond milk. Sadly, they did not have any sugar free flavorings beyond matcha, which I was not interested in, so I went for half sweet salted caramel with almond milk. I went with a large cold brew and with the add-ins, it came to around $5, which is a solid price! Sadly, the iced coffee was not good. It was borderline sour, which means it had been hanging out for a bit too long. The flavoring and milk couldn't even mask it and I could only stomach about half of it before calling it a day. Additionally, service was "bleh". Both baristas I encountered were low energy and just odd vibes for a cute local coffee shop. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, as it sounds like their more complex house drinks are a bit more exciting. Now I know, and I wouldn't mind giving them a second go when I find myself back in the area. But until then, solid 2.5 for me.

We decided to grab 4 different pies by the slice. - Blueberry Sour Cream Pie: my first time trying a sour cream pie and now may be my favorite pie from here; fluffy, tangy, and feels like a lighter and less sweet version of other cream pies; the graham cracker style crust was so good too - Banana Cream Pie: flaky crust with whole banana slices lining the bottom of the banana cream - Sweet Potato Pie: we've had this one before, a hint of spice and smooth filling - Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie: we've also had this one before; richer than the other pies but good if you want something more decadent Recommend stopping by if you're looking for pies by the slice!

I will start by saying that the staff are all wonderful here. Every single staff member we encountered was genuinely so welcoming and kind. The ambiance of the restaurant is definitely nostalgic. It has a bit of that early 2000s Global Village Coffeehouse design aesthetic that you don't see anymore, and it makes you feel like you've stepped back in time in a good way. The food we had was just okay. My husband had the breakfast quesadilla and I had the breakfast burrito without cheese, both with the crispy breakfast potatoes. The eggs inside were definitely not freshest. They had a sad beige hue to them and weren't very flavorful at all other than the big chunks of onion. It was hard for me to call my dish a breakfast burrito because it was just egg mixed with onion and one tiny piece of green chile in a "tortilla." The housemade "tortillas" were very interesting. The texture was quite spongy and had a weird sweetness to it. It tasted more like scrambled eggs inside a crepe. The crispy potatoes were indeed very crispy but they were also a bit too salty and oily. The burrito was also listed as having chimichurri and enchilada sauce. I was thinking it would be more like a smothered burrito but it was just drizzles of both. The sauces did not make any sense to me. The red sauce tasted nothing like enchilada sauce and the chimichurri conflicted with the other flavors. I still ate everything and it was fine. It was edible but just definitely was the furthest thing from a breakfast burrito. My husband had similar feelings towards his quesadilla that had the same tortilla and was just the beige eggs with some cheese. I appreciate what Gourmet Girls is doing in a town where there are few options, but it definitely was not the best gluten free food I've had. I might come back and try some of their baked goods or lunch items next time I'm in town, but I wouldn't recommend the dishes we ordered.
