I have ALWAYS purchased Nothing Bundt Cakes for office parties and celebrations. I've always received a good product and decent service. Two weeks ago that changed when I went in asking to order a 10 inch cake for the office. Two young girls were there working. I was the only customer. I asked for a cake and was told by the girl with the one inch long fingernails that I could not have the flavor I wanted because it had something to do with the frosting - she proceeded to click her nails around while saying "about that ..." The young girl at the register was not interested in assisting either. I was directed to the bundlet in the case that was in the flavor I wanted and I was told if I wanted that flavor I would have to choose that one. When I asked about other 10" cakes fingernails tapped on the glass and said I would just have to pick one of those flavors. So I did. The young lady with the clicky nails handled my cake, placed it in the box all without putting on gloves. The young lady at the register tapped on the register and snapped the total to me. I explained that I was not done yet and I asked for the bundlet that they originally told me to buy. Once again the register young lady tapped it in and snapped the total to me. I reiterated that I was not yet done. I ordered another bundtlet. Register young lady tapped it in and snapped the total to me with a big sigh. At this point I was no longer the only customer in the store. I paid - though I should have left it sitting on the counter and walked out. The young lady at the register slung the receipt and turned away very rudely. I have emailed corporate three times. The day it occurred, a week after the incident and again today. It's been two weeks. The local owner/manager has not reached out to me in any capacity. I do NOT want my money back but I would like this addressed. The company says they cannot control local franchises. I beg to differ. So I've bought my last cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes due to their business practices and poor customer service not because of their product. ah-mazing!! It's literally one my favorite places to get a sweet bite. The parking is a little a tight with so many shopping store the spots sometimes fill up quick and is congested area at times. Not only do they do big Bundt cakes but mini ones that are perfect for any sweet tooth. They have so many flavor (pecan praline is my favorite with sweetness and pecan mixes perfect together). I went to this location twice on a recent stay in Saddlebrooke. The White chocolate raspberry cake had hardly any raspberry (picture attached - this was really all the raspberry that was in the cake). Certainly not as much as I have previously enjoyed from other locations. The lemon was very good, with very moist cake and bountiful amounts of that yummy, cream cheese frosting. My mom had not had your cakes before and really enjoyed it! I tried the special vanilla wafer cake at the recommendation of the employee who helped me, but was a bit disappointed, but that is just a personal preference. I am overt the moon with my experience with Alison and the other girls. I am expecting a baby and of course I wanted a small gender reveal for my family and partner. My favorite cakes are from nothing Bundt cakes but didn't think they could do a gender reveal cake because well.. it's a Bundt cake . But to my surprise I called and Kate answered and said we do! I was so happy! Instead of filling the cake with frosting like other places they place a cute little rattle in the middle of the cake and cover it with decorations and you pull it off and the rattle says "it's a boy" or "it's a girl" Anyway! Alison ensured that I was the mother to be and made sure I wouldn't find out my babies gender until I got my cake! The receipt would have said the gender and she made sure to keep me away from the cash register and not give me a receipt! Also they do 24 hour turn around and I got my cake the next day! My wife and I like to stop in when we get a chance. We always get the white chocolate raspberry cake and it never disappoints. Today we tried the pecan praline and it was spectacular. Geeeeez, Nothing Bundt Cakes is seriously awesome! I've had a few of them now, and they're always PERFECT! They have around a dozen different flavors, most are classic flavors. Chocolate chocolate chip, carrot cake, pineapple upside cake, etc. I think I've tried five or six of them now, and they're all exactly how you would expect them to taste, except better! And I've loved every one of them! I attribute it to the delicious, soft, moist, fluffy cake. It's like biting into a lovely pillow of yummy. The icing they put on top seems to be the same, or very similar on most of the bundt cakes, and that's good because it compliments the cake perfectly. It's sweet, but not cloyingly so. It's lightly vanilla flavored. It's thick enough to stay on the cake and not drip off, but not like cake icing thick. Really, it's the perfect dessert, no matter which flavor you choose. They're worth every penny! The store is exceptionally clean. They don't have cakes all over the place, but they have plenty available in their display case. And they seem to always have a daily sample, which is super cool. The employees were nice and helpful. Let me start by saying the owners/marketing people of this franchised location are just incredibly pleasant people. One stopped by our office with Bundtini samples of 4 different flavors: vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, and lemon. All of them were amazing. Stopping into the actual store is like stepping into a Food Network set. Beautiful presentation, cute decor, and retail items for sale. They carry cute sparklers for your cakes, as well as funky candles, and picturesque platters. I ordered two bundlets, a Red Velvet and a Carrot cake. With immaculate frosting and presentation.
