Being from the Midwest, pastries like these are so common and on every corner. I yearn for a Woops Maingate spinach and feta pastry -- after a hard day, to kick start the day, a pick me up or just whenever. Run to go get it but leave me one!!!

While there are many local options, I don't mind a smaller, lesser-known chain with quality products. Woops ships most of its goodies from New York and maintains just two locations in Arizona. Their flagship items are macarons, but there are plenty of options for a real breakfast. What I love: You wouldn't upset me if you declared these to be the best macarons in town. I don't know if I'd quite agree with that, but you'd have an argument. I am in love with the croissants--so flaky you must consciously avoid making a mess. The chocolate is my favorite, but I sometimes go with the much heftier almond variety. I'm usually taking mine to-go, but I do enjoy the warm decor inside and the patio seating. What I like: The occasional savory item like the leek and potato pastry is a tasty change of pace. They make breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well. They're open during pretty generous hours, so I've found myself popping in for a snack as late as 8pm. What needs work: The coffee isn't bad, but it might be the least impressive in the neighborhood, both in terms of flavor and selection. No standout lattes and relatively weak iced coffee, but still OK when the sweet treats are the star of the show. I don't think you could go wrong with a plain cold brew on these hot summer days. Overall, I like the product and I like the service, so I'll keep coming back!

I could honestly spend all day here. Time Market is the perfect blend of a café, wine bar,…read morespecialty grocery store, and neighborhood gathering spot. We initially stopped in to shop and ended up finding some amazing meats, cheeses, and high‑quality chocolate. The selection is incredible, and the staff was fantastic at helping us navigate the many chocolate options and offering recommendations. For the cheese, we were able to sample before buying and order by the ounce, which I always appreciate. Everything we tried was delicious. Since we don't eat pork, I was also happy to see they carried beef salami and other charcuterie options, which can be hard to find. Beyond the market, they have fresh pastries, a café serving sandwiches and pizzas, and a wonderful selection of coffee beans from roasters all over the country. We also sampled a few wines and enjoyed a glass while we were there. It's the kind of place that works for almost any occasion: picking up picnic supplies, grabbing lunch, enjoying a casual date, stocking up on specialty groceries, or stopping in for a morning pastry and coffee. The staff was incredibly laid‑back and friendly, which seems to be a theme among many of the Tucson businesses I've fallen in love with. A true Tucson gem and the kind of spot every neighborhood wishes it had
