I love it here. The food is so good. My favorites are their breakfast sandwich and their specialty pizzas. They also have delicious pastries. Oh, and my favorite drink is the turmeric ginger infusion. Yes I know it's probably just something I could buy and make myself, but the point is that I don't have to do that -- I can just go to Time Market and have them do it for me! It is very small so keep that in mind. Their outside area is great. If there's an event at the University you might not be able to get a seat, so just have a plan b for that. I also love the grocery area. They have some items here that you can't find anywhere else in town, such as specialty chocolates and certain brands and flavors of ice cream. They also have some basics like produce and meat. It's worth a visit and you can walk to it from both the 4th avenue area as well as the main gate area. read more

Visited Tucson to attend a friend's wedding and found this little market near downtown! The Coppa is one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. I recommend you stop here if you're visiting the university or in town for another occasion! Seems like lots of locals love it too! The space was small but luckily we found a table to eat at. Finally got to try this popular viral restaurant. Somehow it definitely feels like a cool place- far away from the desert- in a good way! The outdoor seating is pretty with cool lighting and inside feels naturally open and bright. Food- Pizza slices were over very good. We got the special shiitake mushroom slice and sausage and mushroom. Shiitake slice was ok- I would have preferred more sauce. The sausage and mushroom slice was more to my liking. It was cooked nicely with a crunchy bottom , good flop and melted cheese. Beef pistachio salad was tasty and well balanced. Overall fresh ingredient. Dressing was a little oily but overall delicious. We also got a plate that reminded me of a charcuterie like dish. The butter and bread were delicious. The meat and cheese were tasty but I think I could have used more cheese. This is place is a true Gem. I enjoyed browsing around the market while I waited for my order. There are fresh baked treats and bread to die for. An excellent variety of artisan foods, seasonings, beer, soda, water, fresh veggies a cheese counter!!! I was amazed how cozy and neighborly the vibe is. Also ordered a nice Italian wine to complement the meal. As the pizza was made to order that required a little more time but the food was delicious and worth the wait! It's a lovely and convenient location, near the University, 4th Ave and Rogue Theatre. Parking available but it may take a bit of a search if it's busy. Time Market a long standing favorite for many Tucsonans. Freshly baked pizza, bakery items, small but stylish food items and an interesting wine selection. Thereʻs a lot to enjoy at Time Market. The food is good and the selection of groceries is interesting and fun to browse or buy. I have always liked their pizza slices. Bakery items are good also. I enjoy looking at the various grocery items such as sauces, beverages, etc. If you want water, you serve it yourself inside where they have glasses to use. At this visit we dined outside which was manageable despite the temperature. They bring the food to your table and come by to clear things. The biggest downside of Time Market is the limited seating if you want to dine there and also parking is difficult to find. Iʻd go more often if it werenʻt for that. Univ/3rd Av Tram stop, Free for now, so conveniently placed on Time's door stop with a time tracker to plan your trip, so not to miss the show ;) Beautiful lit courtyard with tree cover from the beating sun to offer some al fresco dining. Cooler climes indoors consist of shallow window bars and small tables nestled in between market shelves and the open kitchen. Consistently busy through the day, you may find yourself lingering a minute for a spot. There's minimal parking on side of building, and on Univ Blvd main street but resident reserved during daytime week day hours. Basically a scratch kitchen with pasta, Sammie bread, and pizza made in house. House pasta, bakery case, & Organic greens beautifully presented on their grocery side make their way onto plates so perfectly balanced by their vinaigrettes / dressings and specials. Pair your mains from the cold case of curated probiotic sodas, buch, & hops and vine. Best pasta I've had in my memory with a unique medley of mushrooms-- chesnut, maitakes and oysters in a shroom broth that definitely featured silky butter. As a Daily special, be sure to read the board next to the restaurant register, I almost ordered the albacore Sammie haha. Our 3 diners having also missed it, longingly loved the bite I shared. Their sausage, pepperoni pizzas & charcuterie salad were very pleasing but all agreed the pasta reigned supreme! The market side showcases the best in local and international pantries from Balsamic, Salt, Chocolate, Condiments, Canned, Teas & Coffee, etc and a Cheese & Deli Case. Be sure to lay eyes on the Ferrari of Slicing machines, a gorgeous black and gold showpiece behind the case. After the show we stopped again for coffee & dessert but had just missed last call for coffee at 9P, an hr before close, so sad. The chocolate cake had also disappeared and just a few cookies and few slices white cake remained. I love everything about this place. The vibe, outdoor patio, little veggie market, cheese counter and their chocolate bars from around the world. They're open late and it's worth the 1/2 hour drive downtown for food and people watching. Their kale salad is the best I've had anywhere. I am not even a fan of kale. Greek salad is good and the bread is made on premises and for sale. The sourdough with walnuts goes fast. Many love the pizza and I haven't had any yet. read more

This time I got the Phig and the Maui slices, they were 4.50-5$ each and were absolutely amazing. The portions and service are always worth it, the ambience is seriously one of my favorite things as well. They do such a great job of maintaining a beautiful aesthetic while also keeping the vintage vibe. They also had oysters available but me and my boyfriend opted for the pizza instead. I've been a patron since my U of A college days back in the 90s when Time Market was a peaceful and unique neighborhood bodega that offered delicious pizzas, calzones, sandwiches and a wide variety of unique food offerings from all over the world. It's still a unique spot but it's no longer quiet. Now it's a just buzzing with activity at all hours. It had been such a long time since I had their sandwiches because I just love their pizzas and usually get those so this time I made a point to have one of their sandwiches on my recent visit to the U of A for Homecoming weekend. I ordered the Roast Chicken with Tamal. Everything about it was so delicious! I think on my next visit I'm going to have to order a sandwich AND a slice of pizza because I don't want to miss any of it the next time I'm back in Tucson. read more

I like looking at the market from time to time and seeing any new products they might have brought in. They have Rebel vegan cheese for purchase in their market. I enjoyed their shiitake pizza without cheese. I liked the walnut- caramelized onion puree on it and fresh rosemary. The crust was good. Next time I'll probably try the vegetarian green corn tamal plate without the cheese which I believe they have the option for. Counter service. Nice atmosphere in the popular patio. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. Honestly, this is an attitude filled small space/cafe/market with fantastically well curated products at premium prices, without premium service. Time Market is adorable, conveniently located, and has amazing food! I came once years ago and finally came back again yesterday. I am shocked I let years pass before returning and I guarantee I will back much sooner this time around. So far I have only tried the Caramel Heart Pizza and the Kale Salad, but everything on the menu looks to be imagined with creativity and everything brought out of the kitchen looks delicious. From the east coast, I do have high standards for pizza, and I will say the crust is not completely the same was a NY slice, but it is still sturdy enough without being too thin and tastes great. What Time Market has really nailed down is the toppings on their pizza, as everything is very fresh and compliments each other perfectly. I also love that the pizza does not come out oily or watery. I did not feel the need to blot my pizza as I commonly do from other restaurants. The whole atmosphere of Time Market just has my heart as well. There is fresh and unique produce, and some other fun groceries too, if you feel like picking up something special. Their breads and desserts from the bakery also look great. If I lived in Tucson I would be visiting this place regularly . We enjoyed slices of pizza - I loved the cheese slice, giant, not greasy, chewy crust - yum! It paired perfectly with the kale salad we shared. We finished off with dessert - an italian cream cake and a chocolate chip cookie. We popped in the other morning for breakfast and had a yummy lil breakfast sandwich. Small menu for breakfast - 2 options but the sandwich was yummy! The bread was nice and fluffy and the bacon was crispy. Don't think I loved the tomato and lettuce but ‍ that's just me. Loved the lil spicy mayo on it. The pastry case looked amazing, but we didn't get any. Service was great and friendly and the food didn't take too long to come out. Came here to visit w/ my daughter who was coming for her most favorite Chai latte in town. The person who took her order was calm and polite and even though she messed up her milk - the lady just fixed it for us. This store is so cute and clean and modern yet cozy, and had the best of the best products. They had baked goods at the drink bar and also later the pizza oven gets going. I can not believe that I have been living here for almost a decade and have not stumbled across this place until recently. What a lovely bodega that's been around since the early 20th century. I bet the building would have some engaging stories if it could speak. We came here twice during the last two weeks, once for lunch, and today for breakfast following the Jim Click 5K. Both times were memorable. I love the atmosphere and the vibe. For lunch, we had the hummus platter and the shiitake pizza. Both were very good. Finally, A pizza I have had in Tucson that I found very enjoyable and can write a good review about! You can easily eat a single pie by yourself since it's Italian-style brick oven pizza and quite thin. Do not try to take these pies to go, they don't hold up well in a box. Maybe by-the-slice would work and they sell those too. I just wish they had more in-house seating available. I am eager to go and try their breakfast sometime. Love this place! Definitely adding it to my spots to frequent! The store + restaurant combo reminds me of floras marketplace (r.i.p. sadly!) but at a greater scale. There is a small grocery here with produce alcohol, drinks, snacks, and what seems like local merch. There's also a restaurant in the space that houses a line where you stand in line to order at the counter, get a number, and find your own seat. There's patio seating and very limited indoor seating which includes some at the windows. I would advise to be aware it seems to be a pretty popular spot so it was kind of hectic and busy the Saturday afternoon that I went. The menu wasn't huge but had a good selection of salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. I ordered the Turkey curry sandwich which I loved! What a different concept I've never seen, and they aced it. The Thai salad had all kinds of great additions but the dressing was so tame, it seemed tasteless and ineffective for tying the salad together. I would definitely suggest they get a stronger more delectable dressing to bring it home for that dish. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich and said it was bland unfortunately.
