Ravioli: beet infused dough, filling: tarragon, lemon zest, ricotta & mascarpone with fried pancetta. Also pictured: lavender matcha latte

I seemed to never be able to make it to Ceres while they are open, but my schedule has changed this year and I have now tried it two times for lunch! I was lucky enough to try their ravioli made with a beet-infused dough, filled with tarragon, lemon zest, ricotta, and mascarpone, which was a special the week of Valentine's Day. It was amazing. I will dream about this dish haha.

Great pasta and desserts with a convenient order-at-the-window setup. Outdoor seating makes it a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Service was friendly. They move the line at a decent speed but expect to wait. It's a hoppin place! Love the outdoor seating and set up. I can't image how hot it might get during peak heat season. The soft serve is delicious. Not too sweet and a good portion. I got the kid size and it was perfect. Pasta is very fresh and you can tell in the texture it gives. It was overly sauced and oiled though which is why i took a star off. It was a bit over the top on cheese and oil! Portions were good and the price is right. One bathroom that shares the whole space with other locations. It was fairly clean for the given space. Glad I came here and checked it out!

Quick to go pasta and ever changing gelato flavors. Love the new outdoor covered seating. Service was friendly and quick. When the weather is nice, it's good to sit outside.

Thai pink milk and sticky rice gelato

I have been eyeing Ceres for the longest time and finally got the chance to come by. We saw they had a Thai inspired pasta special and Thai flavor gelatos, so it was the perfect time to try it out. When we got there around 7 (open 5-9 currently) there was a decent line but I think it moves fairly quickly since you just order at the window and wait on the side for your order to be called. The tagliatelle was already sold out by the time we got to the window so I got the special pasta cut with the bolognese and my husband for the special which was with a Thai peanut sauce. I loved the pastas, both had the perfect bite. The sauces were good. There was a good amount of the Thai sauce, but I wish there was more bolognese. We ordered the gelatos to go, so we just brought back the receipt to the door when we finished our pasta. The gelatos were DELICIOUS! My husband and I loved both of them but agreed that the sticky rice was the best and truly tasted like the authentic Thai desert, just missing some fresh chunks of sweet mango. There was construction on the street currently so no outside seating. There was seating at jojos but not enough with how many people were there. The portion I think is a little too small, I was still a bit hungry afterwards. Would definitely recommend to check out next time you're downtown.

Stopped by here to try the ice cream, after seeing the video on Instagram. There was a long line, we really wanted to try the creme brulee but I guess it's one of their rotating treats and wasn't available that day. Tried the gelato. Both the Thai pink and sticky rice flavors were really good. One of the best gelatos I have had. There was seating opposite I think it is okay to eat there if you were to get pasta. Definitely would like to try the pasta next time and try out new flavors of their gelato.

Stopped by Ceres and tried a few dishes. The Bolognese was the true standout--rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked pasta that really hit the spot. The Tomato Basil was just okay; it wasn't bad, but it felt pretty simple, like something I could've made at home. To finish, I had the Coconut Lime Swirl, which was a refreshing and light treat--perfect way to end the meal. Overall, a cozy spot with quality pasta and great rotational dessert options.

Cute hole in the wall - hipster vibes. A friend and I went out to JoJo's for drinks and dinner, then walked over here for some dessert. I understand it was towards the end of a busy Friday night but the staff was grumpy. I get it though. I'm mainly disappointed with the consistency of the gelato. I received mine first after my friend ordered before me and the sizing is way off. I only waited a few seconds or minutes so that we could sit and enjoy them together. It was warm out but even so, the size of mine compared to hers was considerable if laughable. I just thought it was weird if we're paying the same it would be the same. I'd like to try their noodles one day and I'll probably still try their other desserts. The chai gelato was good with the boba! The flavor hits but consistency was a miss and staff doesn't seem to want to work there. Hope it'll be a better visit next time!

This review is for the gelato only: Love that they have rotating weekly gelato menu!!! Today was cream and sugar and Irish breakfast tea. We both got a kid size to try both flavors after we were stuffed from dinner. The English breakfast tea gelato was our favorite!! Had a great tea flavor and we topped it with biscotti crumble. We topped the sugar and cream with honey. The gelato texture here is more icy than creamy in texture so it was very refreshing for the hot day. Hoping to come back to try the pasta here soon!

Yum! Excellent pasta and gelato. Small menu with specials keeps things fresh and easy (if you spend your time in line making a decision). They are quick to prepare the food but the line can be long and slow as people have to make a lot of choices/seem to struggle to make a choice. Gelato was great, couldn't really tell the difference between the two flavors on offer that day, but otherwise good stuff! Alleyway is cute with lots of seating options.

Shepherds pie ravioli- beef and potatoes filling

My wife and I were able to get another lunch date at Ceres. Parking took a little bit to find, but it was worth it. There was a decent line, but the kitchen was working hard to get the food out quickly. We ordered the Shepherds pie ravioli special, the bucatini with tomato basil and a swirled gelato. We usually do the gelato after we the pasta, but with the warmer weather we went with gelato first. Appreciate the tables and umbrellas they have out on the street. We can't wait to come back.

Lusy D.

Honestly, with all the overwhelming positivity this restaurant gets, there's not much more for me to add. They give kind and quick service, make amazing pastas and gelato, and are so creative with their menu. Every time I come here, I get to experience something new and delicious and I love it! This is probably one of my top recommendations when someone new is visiting Tucson, and that's a testament to how consistently impressive this place is.

Popular spot so be ready to wait a while. Solid pasta. Would've been a 5-star review but I when I asked an employee if they have black pepper she spoke in a condescending tone stating "uh not really" before walking away. I understand y'all are busy, but it wasn't a wild request.

Someone was exiting via the entrance and we couldn't stop to wait due to traffic, so we had to circle the block. We were then able to park, though some signs seemed to reference another restaurant (?). Maybe it is the former name of this place. We asked them before ordering if it was their parking lot and they confirmed. You order at a counter, then find a table and wait for your number to be called. I think they had both a large above-counter menu sign and printed versions. There is a short divider / rope line that is intended to allow a line on one side and foot traffic on the other, but it isn't clear and people queue up on either side. Everyone found something they wanted (we all got noodles and split a salad). Pizza was another option, I think. They have a large jar / tank of water and plastic cups next to it, so you serve yourself. The food came out fairly quickly and was good. They claim the pasta is made fresh daily, and it did taste like it was. The portions were surprisingly big too. Prices were reasonable. We had arrived around 5:30 p.m. on a Friday and by the time we finished (probably a bit after 6 p.m.) there were no seats left. They have a lot of booths, some counter seats at the windows, and a large communal table in the center. I don't know what it is like the rest of the week, but Friday night was packed. It appeared popular with U of A students, as it is on campus. I'd return here for a meal if I were in the area.

My mom is Italian, so I knew she would really enjoy dining here. The place was clean and the servers were friendly. In October we had the Penne Positano (Penne pasta tossed in a creamy tomato sauce with spicy Italian sausage) and the Spaghetti Puttanesca (Spaghetti pasta tossed with kalamata olives, capers, anchovies, and garlic in a tomato sauce). It was amazing. We kept talking about how great the meal was during the entire ride home back to Sahuarita. I also enjoyed my pumpkin martini. A few days before Christmas we had the Penne Mango (Penne pasta tossed with grilled chicken breast, onions, garlic, spinach, and diced mangos in a sweet and sour cream sauce topped with feta cheese), the Spaghetti Scoglio (Spaghetti pasta, mussels, clams, tiger prawns, and scallops in a zesty tomato sauce), and the Penne Positano (Penne pasta tossed in a creamy tomato sauce with spicy Italian sausage). Everything was exceptional including the tiramisu. Thanks for helping to make my mom's birthday special! Perche No is in my top five places to have dinner in Tucson and it has my highest recommendation. The place is cozy and reminds me of a restaurant one may come across on K Street in Sacramento. I highly recommend making a reservation.

It is downtown so parking is not great, but they do have meters directly in front of the restaurant. We ordered the bruschetta and carpaccio appetizer . I will start by saying the presentation of all of the food we ordered that night was amazing. I really like that the bruschetta bread had a softness to it and wasn't super crunchy like bruschetta I've had in the past at other places. Despite these two appetizers having different flavor profiles, I did feel that the tastes were kind of similar. Both were cool to to try, but I don't think I would order them again. For entrées, we ordered the penne, mango pasta, and the short rib tortellaci. Both of these dishes were adventurous for us but we wanted to try something different! Both dishes I felt were fresh, allowing you to taste all of the distinct flavors of the dish. My husband couldn't appreciate the penne mango pasta initially, but he did say grew on him. I liked the dish, and upon tasting it, I realized I'd never had butternut squash, which had a soft and subtle sweetness to it. It's a very unique dish, and one I think is worth trying... if you have an open mind! The short rib dish was okay to me, I had a little too many mushrooms for my liking. I also feel that for $27 the portion could be greater. These dishes are not heavy with salt, but I believe it's intentional, so I would suggest really look at the ingredients of the dishes to serve you like what's in it. Overall, a good restaurant with Italian dishes I don't see every day . I'd like to go back and try more of the menu!

Some new staff, but they were doing great. Food was great. Love that they do theme food, no prices for Broadway in Tucson Theater. Chicken Picotta was great, a little too much liquid, Italian Hawaiian Pizza was great, a little burned but can happen with fired pizza. Second, gnats were very annoying tonight. Our table and the next were swatting every minute. Our sweet drinks, Lavender Lemon Martini and Manhattan were attracting them also bc the Manhattan spilled when presented. Eventually, a gnat got by. Just when I noticed my fork was still dirty. Staff were gracious and remade my drink and provided coasters to cover the drinks. The restaurant does have an open outdoor area, and that contributed to the problem. I think they used to have a blue bug fixture, bc I cannot recall prior issues like this. Not a pleasant meal swatting gnats off body, food and drinks. Not every second, but every couple of minutes. Hopefully this was a one off. We love Bacio and will be back. Wish they would price the theater specials. Staff amazing and friendly. Anyway, leaving 4 star, but the visit was 2.5 tonight.

The server stopped by the table relatively quickly and took our drink order. Drinks were delivered in a timely fashion, we ordered appetizers and the entrees. The server was also friendly and pleasant. The appetizers (meatballs and stuffed mushrooms) were brought to the table by a runner. We had no silverware, napkins, or plates, so we asked the runner for these things when they asked, "do you need anything?". The runner said they'd be right back, but it was about five minutes and no joy. The server stopped by when they noticed we were staring at the appetizers with no way to eat them and brought over the plates, silverware, and napkins. As we were finishing up the appetizers, the same runner brought our entrees. I had the eggplant parm and added a side of spinach, which was very good. My date ordered a pasta dish which was served luke warm at best. The flavors were good, but the pasta dish wasn't nearly as hot as the spaghetti that was served with my eggplant parm. The server never stopped by to check on us, so we ate it and was happy for our water as we didn't get an opportunity to order another round of drinks. To be fair, it started getting a little busier by this time, so maybe the server had other responsibilities. The space is enjoyable. The patio can be hit or miss if there happens to be rain, as there was when we were there, but we were perfectly dry out there. We did see the hostess try to seat another party at a table that was getting wet in the rain and they kindly asked for another table that wasn't so moist. The food was good. The portion sizes were decent and aside from the temperature of the pasta dish, presented well. It would have been nice to have been able to order another round of drinks, but the server stopped by to ask if we had a dessert after we had completed our entrees. We just asked for the bill, paid, and called it an evening. Overall it was a good experience not one I would seek out specifically to go to this particular restaurant again.
