We had dinner here in October and it was so good, we came back to celebrate my mom's birthday a few weeks ago. Both times, dinner was exceptional. My mom is Italian, so I knew she would really enjoy dining here. The place was clean and the servers were friendly. In October we had the Penne Positano (Penne pasta tossed in a creamy tomato sauce with spicy Italian sausage) and the Spaghetti Puttanesca (Spaghetti pasta tossed with kalamata olives, capers, anchovies, and garlic in a tomato sauce). It was amazing. We kept talking about how great the meal was during the entire ride home back to Sahuarita. I also enjoyed my pumpkin martini. A few days before Christmas we had the Penne Mango (Penne pasta tossed with grilled chicken breast, onions, garlic, spinach, and diced mangos in a sweet and sour cream sauce topped with feta cheese), the Spaghetti Scoglio (Spaghetti pasta, mussels, clams, tiger prawns, and scallops in a zesty tomato sauce), and the Penne Positano (Penne pasta tossed in a creamy tomato sauce with spicy Italian sausage). Everything was exceptional including the tiramisu. Thanks for helping to make my mom's birthday special! Perche No is in my top five places to have dinner in Tucson and it has my highest recommendation. The place is cozy and reminds me of a restaurant one may come across on K Street in Sacramento. I highly recommend making a reservation.

Came to this restaurant with my boss this evening. I made a reservation as recommended, and I'm glad I did as it's a relatively small place, and now I understand why the tables fill quickly. The food is outstanding. I ordered the salmon with linguine and asparagus and enjoyed every bite until there was nothing left. The presentation was excellent, and the flavors were even better. Service was friendly and efficient, adding to an already great experience. Parking is limited, so be prepared to walk a bit, but I can assure you the walk is absolutely worth it.

We came here on a busy Friday and I was so impressed with food , service and vibes. The prices are fair and everything we had was delicious. Bruschetta with goat cheese, spaghetti with shrimp and penne pasta with Sausage

I was staying at the nearby hotel. I heard about this place so I wanted to try it out. We called and they are normally booked in a van. I was told by that but that we can just show up normally have cancellation. We did that and was able to get a table around 5 PM. everything was good including the quality of the ingredient in the flavor. The ambiance was chill vibe. I recommend if you are in the downtown area.

Our 2nd visit to this amazing Italian Restaurant and it did not disappoint! I was in the mood for 'Shrimp Scampi' and our server delivered. It was absolutely AMAZING!!! Great atmosphere and very friendly staff! One of our favorites in Tucson!

A great little spot downtown! We've been wanting to check out this place for a while and decided to try it for a birthday dinner. This restaurant is small, so reservations are highly recommended. Also, it's recommended to call at least a week in advance to get your reservation. If you wait until the week of you're likely not going to get in. We were not able to get a reservation so we got to the restaurant about 10 minutes before they opened to grab one of their walk-in tables outside. We ordered fried oysters, bacon wrapped dates, sea bass with linguine Alfredo, and the gnocchi with lobster. We also tried the mascarpone limoncello cake and it was divine! Everything was absolutely delicious! The portions are large so we were able to take food home to eat the next day. I can't wait to go back to try other things!

I came in for a late lunch and it was quiet and I was seated right away. The service was friendly and I got my food fast, but no one checked in on me after I got my food fast. I got the lobster ravioli and the limonata dura cocktail and the total was $35 pre tip.

Was in Tucson for a week, found this place on Instagram, stopped by. Its a nice cozy restaurant. Had quite a good menu, lot of good options I wanted to try but ended up getting the paste mango, never had this combination before. The creamy sauce with the subtle mango flavor goes really well together. The presentation, and the flavors were really good. My other friends tried other dishes which were are all really good as well according to them. The service was quite fast, maybe a little too fast at times as they'd clear our plates without asking even if there was a little food remaining. The desserts both the strawberry cheesecake and the tiramisu were both really good, definitely must order.

Wow, I just had one of the best meals of my life here. The place fills up fast and is small so a reservation is a must. Service was great. We were not rushed at all. We started with the carpaccio and Barbabietole (beets), both excellent and so fresh. Then came the star of the evening, the Short Rib Tortellacci. Easily one of the top 10 entrees I've ever eaten. It is small, so I recommend starting with an appetizer or salad. Finished off with the tiramisu which could've used a little more espresso, but was delicious and the perfect size. I enjoyed that it wasn't soggy and was more custard-y. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back.

Everything about the experience, including service (Emma was great), food (bread, chicken parmigiana, penne postiano, and mascarpone limoncello cake) and drinks were fantastic. We really enjoyed the vibe in this small, cozy Italian bistro. We'll absolutely be back and highly recommended it. Be advised, reservations are a must.

Perche No is probably the best Italian restaurant in Tucson. The food, the service, and the ambiance of this little bistro is the perfect combination of any restaurants in downtown. For starters, we got the goat cheese bruschetta which were really good. For entrees, ordered the short rib tortellini and lobster ravioli. Their tiramisu is very delicious, and is truly a proper tiramisu. The staff is also very attentive. I would highly recommend getting a reservation if planning to go on a weekend night as they fill up...so glad to finally found a great Italian place in downtown Tucson!

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

We were greeted by a giant statue of a unicorn zebra and of course took a selfie. We then went to the bar area and absolutely loved the dark speakeasy vibes. Mine even came in a zebra mug. We also learned that this bar has both an upstairs and downstairs area. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and headed home. This place left such an impression that we have been back two times since. On another occasion we had Nate the bartender. He had a lovely personality and accommodated all of the guests that came in near closing. We enjoyed Santa's Banana Hammock and Unicorn Ski Accident. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. I look forward to seeing where this place goes. It has a ton of potential for special events with the basement area. P.s. It's also a boutique hotel. Perhaps a bad financial…read moredecision on my part ($150 per person!), but regardless, it was a night I'll (mostly) remember, haha. I've always been a foodie, and now that I live on my own, I've recently had the opportunity to teach myself how to cook. As somebody new to cooking, and somebody who loves food, I was delighted to find a restaurant that combines food and art into cuisine inspired by the chef's home. A concept too lovely to miss out on! And so, not heeding my better judgment, I decided to book a reservation for myself and my partner for an evening. Based on pure observation, the creativity taking place in that kitchen was worth the value alone. It could be my lack of experience, but so many techniques and flavors were incorporated into each dish that made it difficult for me to trace the methods used. Each morsel was filled with unique, local flavors that I feel very few people would ever have the opportunity to taste. Of course, these were extremely elevated dishes using local ingredients (such as elk, venison, and squash), but regardless, I believe the desert's beauty is often disregarded. Ursa took these unexplored local items and turned them into delicious culinary experiences. I definitely shouldn't have added on the alcohol tasting (additional $80 per person) with the 8-course meal, buuuut when else would I be eating at Ursa, y'know? Each pairing helped to bring out the hidden flavors of the dishes presented, perfectly curated to accompany Ursa's unique menu. There is a non-alcoholic pairing option, which I am curious about, as one of the pairings was a tea made with brittlebush. I was amazed at how concentrated the flavor was! It was so deep, slightly sweet, and paired perfectly with its partner. (I kind of wish my partner didn't finish his!) Was this experience worth it? I'll admit, I do have a little bit of buyers remorse, but I also understand the work involved with creating something like this as a service for others. The food felt very intimate (although pretentious), allowing the chef to speak without saying a word. The service was lovely and attentive. Each person on the staff communicated without me even noticing, and food and drinks found themselves on our table at just the right time. I was beyond impressed with the service, and each dish, that I feel I have to say it was certainly worth the value of the *experience.* If you are looking for a nice place to eat a meal, however, there are other places for that. That said, I probably can't revisit Ursa, haha.

Most of the dishes were either over salted or just didn't come together flavor wise. Some ideas were interesting, but the execution wasn't there, especially for a tasting menu at this price point. With better seasoning and a bit more balance, it could be really good, but based on this visit we probably wouldn't come back.
