French onion soup was delicious and the bread was super fresh. Wife got the French connection deli melt and I got the pork belly tacos. The deli sandwich was 10/10, great portion too and the fries were very good too. The pork belly tacos were tasty but slightly overcooked which is why this isn't 5/5. Otherwise everything was great

I had an excellent meal and loved the outdoor patio, perfect for March weather. I ordered the chickpea lettuce wrap appetizer and added blackened salmon, very good. They have decadent desserts that you can view ahead of time in a case. I ordered the orange almond cake as it was gluten free and the waiter gave me two pieces! He said they were the last two and he thought they looked skimpy! Great service and good food and atmosphere. I'll be back.

I had the Cast Iron Baked Eggs to-go. $21 for this is very underwhelming. I hope it's better quality in restaurant.

You can never go wrong coming to a cup cafe for brunch. Such an iconic local place. The food never disappoints. The staff is always so nice and helpful and right on it. We came here for our anniversary and had the SHAKSHUKA and my husband and had fish tacos and Bloody Mary. I also had a cold brew and whatever coffee they use is soooo good! Don't forget the cute photo booth in the lobby if you go!

Dog friendly outside but was chilly that morning. They had one heater going but not the one near us. Food was fast and good. Service was fine although we did ask for a dog water bowl she never brought.

I've always been a big fan or Cup cafes breakfast... it's one of my favorite places to go to have brunch with friends.. the amount of food for the price you pay always feels worth it.. I love the vibe of the restaurant.. the history and the staff is always great.. last night I finally had their dinner and was a bit disappointed.. I felt like the prices were a bit much for how much food we all got.. my pasta tasted ok.. my sister didn't really enjoy her food.. with that being said.. I'd definitely continue to go back for breakfast but not dinner..

Cup Cafe has a cozy, eclectic vibe that's perfect for a weekend brunch with family or friends. You can choose to sit indoors or enjoy the fresh air on the patio. Service was friendly and efficient--our food arrived promptly. Braveheart - 4.7/5 stars This dish was a brunch masterpiece. Toasted sourdough forms the base, topped with crispy smoked brisket, charred tomato slices, sautéed spinach, and a rich house-made sausage gravy. Two poached eggs sit on top, adding a silky finish. Everything was well-seasoned and flavorful. The breakfast potatoes on the side were golden and crisp, which is exactly how they should be. Benny's Burrito - 1/5 Unfortunately, this was a miss. The burrito was under-seasoned and forgettable. The house-made salsa was mediocre; I had to use store-bought hot sauce just to make it edible. As a local comparison for Tucsonians: Banner Breakfast Burrito is far superior in taste and quality. Cup Cafe is a solid brunch spot, but choose your dishes wisely. I'll definitely return to try other popular menu items.

    Lettuce wrap

The lettuce wrap is not a wrap, its lettuce with some toppings on it. The chicken was 9 dollars for maybe a 4 ounce chicken breast and it was dry. 25 bucks for for this. Only reason I gave it a second star is because the lettuce and toppings did have great flavor. I mixed up the lettuce and toppings before the picture. Presentation did look a little better. It was a 20 min wait for a table, after 20 minutes we made an order to go. That still took 35 to 40 minutes after we placed the order. It was not very timely

The cutest spot for brunch!! Options to sit both inside or on the patio, with great lighting and decorations throughout. Fast service that doesn't cut corners on quality - the potatoes are fantastic and an absolute standout!

This gem inside Hotel Congress is one of my favorite downtown spots. The menu is full of delicious options--so many that I often can't decide what to get. Their desserts are outstanding, and breakfast here never disappoints. Because indoor seating is limited, it's smart to come early as the restaurant fills up fast. The interior is gorgeous, and the service is consistently excellent.

Political and moralistic statements are really not necessary, and this is not art that corresponds with the rest of the decor in any way

Please consider how unsettling this kind of decor is for customers enjoying a morning tea or a holiday meal It's sexist and very much politically charged. I don't support this business because I agree with the ownership's political beliefs, I support this business because our town is employed here and we require food and beverage . This is not art and no one needs to read this shit while spending $40/ person to enjoy an outing

Mother's Day brunch on the patio, wonderful service-checked in often and brought pitcher of water and had swamp cooler on to cut the warmth when the sun came out. Our party ordered nothing from the specials listed for Mother's Day-the Braveheart, another egg skillet w/side of potatoes/bread, burger, the Cuban, the Tucson dip and something else. Coffee, and 3 different coffee drinks:Havana, caramel latte and Americano. Nice day for brunch with family. Ambience -Nice area, public parking across the street. Definitely a place worth coming back to. Raspberry pistachio cheesecake and bread pudding something-both super good. 2 of us had leftovers.

Good service, good food. Bar seating available. Very unique, historical decor and environment. Desserts are a large selection of the cakes and pies shown in the rotating glass stand. The stuffed chicken I had was tender and tasty. I took a star off because the basque matcha cheesecake could have been better with the texture. The cheesecake crumbled off to little pieces with every poke, it didn't stick well. Otherwise the taste was good and not too sweet. Photos of the bar is separate - it's in the lobby of the hotel next to Cup Cafe. Cup Cafe is located in Hotel Congress in downtown Tucson. Street parking or paid parking lots.

The one who served us was very nice and even made a drink recipe I came up with. Unfortunately, their bar is not well stocked so had to make a LOT of adjustments to my recipe. But appreciated his suggestions and effort. Now for the bad stuff. They have a jazz club attached. I figured the whole place would have that ambience but was disappointed that wasn't the case. Generic pop on the patio and inside is very noisy. The preferred dress of patrons appears to be gym shorts and t-shirts. Drinks were a little weak so I switched over to bourbon on the rocks. But the prices are reasonable. Maybe a nice pre show stop if you're going to the Century room.

So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. I ordered the impala with 2 patties and tried the Tucson beefsteak too. Food: (3.5/5) The impala burger comes with 1 patty normally but I added another for $6.95. The patties were apparently made of 70/30 grass-fed ground beef with shiitake mushrooms. They were very juicy, tender, and flavorful. These patties were also cooked perfectly with crispy edges and a juicy center. The impala burger also came with bbq sauce and crispy onions. Besides the patty, the rest of the burger was pretty standard. However, the fries were horrible. They came lukewarm while the burger was served hot, and the fries had no texture. They were soggy and chewy, like frozen fries that were microwaved for 15 seconds. The Tucson beefsteak was quite nice, and the meat was juicy and the dip it came with made it even more juicy. The mini chimis banderas were very mediocre. They had a severe lack of flavor. It just tasted like fried dough. Service: (N/A) The restaurant is mostly self serve except that they bring you the food. This means you get up and get the water and place the order yourself. They also don't charge gratuity or tip. Ambiance: (5/5) The interior was decorated and music was playing. The place just has a nice vibe to it. When I came, it wasn't very busy or loud. Overall I would recommend this place for the vibe and because the burger patties are so good and the Tucson beefsteak is so juicy, but just be aware that the fries can be pretty bad.

Learning that the building is over 140 years old made the experience even more special. The ambiance alone is a solid 10/10. The setup is casual: order at the counter, then find a table. They offer a wide variety of food and drinks, and the service was warm and welcoming. For drinks, we tried the sparkling lemonade, mimosa, and coffee all excellent choices. For food, we ordered the Market Skillet and French Toast. The French Toast was the star of the meal. The bread was soft and perfectly cooked, topped generously with pineapple, making every bite delicious. The Market Skillet, however, was a bit disappointing. It was heavily loaded with potatoes and lacked the balance of vegetables we were expecting. It ended up feeling like a plate of potatoes with very little else mixed in. Overall, it's a beautiful spot with a unique atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices. We'd definitely return especially for the French Toast and the ambiance.
