A beautiful restaurant atmosphere! Very gorgeous restaurant store design with their signature blossoms tree in the middle of the restaurant and beautiful bar makes for a romantic, classy vibe. I was craving Vietnamese food while out here, and am very glad I found Saigon Blossoms. I had the Bun Bo Hue (BBH) and it was absolutely delicious. It was a big bowl of perfectly chewy noodles with tons of meats. They do not serve it with the blood or pork feet, but this is exactly how I would've ordered it. The soup was a bit spicy from the chili oil but it was so good! It also doesn't come with its original variety of banana leaves on the side but they do give you some veggies and sauces (meant for pho) along with your dish. One thing I might add is, it is a very, VERY big bowl of soup/noodles. I really wish they had a bigger spoon because it felt like it took me forever to eat; I usually love to do a spoon full of noodles, soup, and a bit of the meat in every bite, but with the spoon here, it was quite an impossible feat. I asked for a different spoon, but it was just as small. I did end up taking most of it home to finish. My server was very nice! And was quite attentive. I smell the food cooking , frequently , and have been eager to sample some , for myself . Mother's Day and my wife's birthday happened to be on the same day , so I took the opportunity to take my wife there . We were greeted pleasantly at the door , and escorted to a nice table , and offered a beverage , right away . We perused the menu , and ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer . They arrived quickly , with a nice sauce for dipping , though , they were SO good , it wasn't necessary . My wife got a prosecco with pear juice , which came with a nice garnish , and she said it was delicious. I ordered the sizzling Mekong beef and steamed vegetables , and my wife had the pho tai . She says it is the best pho you can get , and I believe her , as she's had it in New York , Kansas City , New Orleans and any place else we go . I tried it , and I agree , as she's made sure I tasted it . She says it's even better than when she used to get it at the other , now closed location off of Ina Road . We were given a complimentary slice of cheesecake , as it was Mother's Day and her birthday , and it TOO was a generous portion , and VERY good !! We ended up taking quite a bit home , as the portions were generous , and we enjoy having leftovers the next day . The prices seem VERY REASONABLE, for what you get , where you are , and the quality of food and the quality of service . Well one of us did that, only I ordered wrong thinking the shrimp pork dumplings in chicken broth with egg noodles was a new one on me, Mi Hoanh Thanh Dao Biet $19. SO WRONG, that would be Wonton Noodle Soup, duh?! Dang it, while perfectly good enough, did not fix my Viet hankering for 'Pho'. Easily made 2 meals, about 10 tasty wontons, in mild broth that seem to taste better as it aged a day in the fridge. The Hubs was even less adventurous with his Salmon with curry sauce rice, Salmon Xa Ca Ri $26. Again good enough, healthy portion salmon 6-7oz guessing farm raised, asparagus and squash with a coconut curry sauce that could be doubled for a rounded bowl of rice..blah blah blah. First time at Saigon Blossoms and we had a wonderful experience. The outside plants and all the decor inside was very beautiful. The cherry blossom tree inside was my favorite. I love Miss Saigon and this on is super nice and fancy! I think one of the best things about here is the happy hour and the prices that go along with it. The pho ga was really tasty and full of meat. I really enjoyed the broth that it came with and definitely not the same that I usually get when I order the same dish at other Vietnamese restaurants. Still very good! Did you get a bit crowded so we sat at the bar which we don't mind because the bartenders are very attentive to us. We went here for an early dinner on a Saturday night after Tour de Tucson. Luckily this beautiful restaurant is right in downtown, a short walk from AC hotel. It was pouring right when we got inside so we got lucky! I was actually surprised to find such a big and beautiful Vietnamese restaurant right smack in the middle of downtown Tucson. So far, Tucson is very impressive to me with its food and coffee scene, and of course, arts! Saigon Blossoms reminds me of few places in SoCal, where the restaurant is super classy but it turns into a lounge with live DJs and dancing at night. There is a huge cherry blossom tree in the middle of the place and the place is beautiful and super clean. We were starving so we ordered a few hearty dishes. Pho combo, spring rolls, gyoza, salmon plate, and orange chicken plate. Everything was so good and I was very impressed with their spring rolls and Pho!! The spring rolls have delicious pork belly and shrimp. The pork bellies were in thick cut, which is something rare nowadays even in Westminster, CA. The Pho has such a great flavor and the meat were good. The broth was good and I have to say, pretty authentic for being in the middle of Tucson!! Overall, we were all so happy with our dinner. My friend had a rare Tuesday off from clinical rotations and came downtown to meet me for lunch. We arrived at 12:30 only to discover all tables full and 7-8 other people (3 tables-worth) waiting ahead of us and the bar completely full too. After 10 minutes with only one group advancing (and me on a time crunch with a 1:15 meeting) we had to abandon ship. An hour later my friend messages that she has two complete Pho meals ($14) all boxed and waiting curbside. Needless to say I came a-running. Packaging (for such a complex, messy lunch) was brilliant. The broth comes in a large quart-sized tupperware (careful it is extremely hot). The shaved (raw) beef and veggies come in a separate container. Definitely try to combine these as soon as possible (which we did) so that the beef can immediately cook in that hot broth. I dunked the roughly 1/4 lb of meat first, followed 3 minutes later by the veggies and vermicelli (I merely wanted to ensure the meat got it's flash-cooking done first). We waited about 5 minutes for the veggie/noodles to be "done" and then dove in. Note: the to-go package comes with a plastic spoon... no bueno!... a large metal fork is ideal as the meat, veggies, noodles completely jam-packed the quart container and they are all large items. I was really impressed with both the quantity and quality of this lunch. My friend also got us an order of fried egg rolls (2) and a spring roll (1) to compare. Both were really freakin' good but the $4 spring roll - with its super chewy, delicate "skin" and the thin slab of tender beef along one side - was divine. FYI, parking can be a challenge with only about 10-12 meters within a block's walk. We will be back soon - (a) because I just plain owe her; (b) to take better pictures; and (c) because it was so impressively good. read more

Finally had the chance to check out Miss Saigon for the first time and brought along a visitor who was also visiting Tucson for the first time. As soon as we walked in, I was immediately impressed by the interior. The space is vibrant with colorful decor and neon lighting throughout. I'm not the biggest fan of pho, so I was really looking forward to trying the orange chicken. Unfortunately, our waiter told me that they were out of chicken that day, so I wasn't able to order it. We did manage to get an order of the chicken skewers for the table, which were tasty. I ended up ordering the stir fried lo mein. It was good but not quite what I had hoped for. This is such a swanky cute space to dine or grab drinks. Also one of the few places in the city with a happy hour on a Friday. Service was helpful in describing the menu. We had the wings (house spicy glaze), chicken Saigon skewers, Mekong sizzling beef, Saigon fried rice, and the Shaken Beef. The wings were flavorful but my favorite of everything I ate was the red rice that came with the shaken beef. The food was decent but a lot blander than I had anticipated... mind you I did not expect spicy burn food ... but I was expecting more aromatic food and this was not it entirely. I would not come back for the food... not because it was bad but because it wasn't anything unique. But I would come back for the pretty ambiance ... good place to bring out of town guests or for their happy hour downtown. I went for happy hour. I sat outside. The atmosphere was relaxing and cool. The food was delicious and the prices were great.

This location of Miss Saigon is all about the ambience. It feels very luxe -- velvet chairs, interesting and beautiful chandeliers, trees, a backlit bar. It's a cool spot for a date night or a night out with friends. We started with the spring rolls (#2) and chicken skewers (#5b), both of which come with peanut sauce. The chicken skewers are delicious. I don't know what they use to season the chicken, but it's smoky and quite good even without any dipping sauce. On the flip side, I also like the crunch and the lightness of the spring rolls, particularly before the intensely savory fried rice I got as my entree. The house fried rice (#70) is really excellent. It's loaded with egg, pork, chicken, AND shrimp! The umami is strong with this one. I'm a big fried rice fan in general, and this one is a strong entry to the field. We also got the coconut curry chicken (#55), which has a noticeable sweet undertone. We liked the curry sauce, though we both wished they'd given us more of the sauce itself -- the portion of sauce was a bit small for the amount of chicken and rice. We sat at the bar, so I can't speak to the table service, but the bartenders were friendly and attentive, and the food came out fast! read more

This new location is much nicer as the decor has been totally overhauled and looks much nicer. All employees that we encountered were friendly and the servers were all attentive to their tables. Now for the food! I have to admit, with location change, sometimes comes food quality change. This was not the case. The food is still just as amazing as I remember it! The pho is some of the best I've had, as everyone knows that it's all in the broth! A lovely spot downtown - came here to meet a friend before a concert. We didn't have a reservation as this was a last minute "let's go grab a bite to eat and a drink before the show" kind of thing. We sat at the bar, there was no waiting and our bartender was friendly and gave us drink suggestions. I enjoyed the #37 Mi Tom Cua - egg noodle soup with shrimp and imitation crab - I like it in beef broth. My friend got an appetizer of chicken wings lol! That's what she was craving. I didn't get a pic but she ate them all. It was a perfect portion. This place also has great decor and backdrop for photo ops! Definitely go here before a concert or event at the TCC (for instance). Karrina was a terrible server she took long to take our order when she only had 2 tables. She never even checked on our table once we had to ask another server to go get our server from the back. We waited 10 minutes for a fork our food got cold waiting for our forks and spoons. I have always been a big fan of Miss Saigon and wish they would reopen the one on Ina and I 10! Sadly, Miss Saigon Blossoms was a big disappointment. It has lost all of its unique character in exchange for a very modern vibe- more like Scottsdale... Our reservation was for 6PM and the place was relatively empty. Despite that, there were no setups on the table and we asked for same when our food was delivered. The waiter/bartender was very responsive without being intrusive which is appreciated. I was surprised at the limited menu offerings. I usually go with Pho and probably should have. Instead I ordered the house Lomein and it was very bland. I had to ask for a sauce to add some flavor and the only choice was Hoison. Better than nothing. I also thought the portion was small in comparison with other locations.
