Waited for a table at the bar. Excellent service from bartender. Very nice ambiance. Food was very flavorful! Had vegan lettuce wrap for appetizer - very good! Shrimp curry and blossom nest for shared dinner. Both were excellent. Generous servings - we only finished about half. The place was busy and the service was slow, poor and distracted. Our needs were not anticipated. We had to ask for serving spoons, bowls for the curry and sharing plates. We asked for our leftovers to be packaged but they were discarded. To the staff's credit they made us new dishes to take home. Overall good food. I can only hope the service is better when it is not so busy. read more

We came here for dinner Sunday night. They were one of the only restaurants still open downtown at 8:40pm. I love sitting in a booth with by the pretty tree. I tried the #47 Bun Bo Nuong. The beef was delicious but the noodles it came with were just ok. I didn't like the sauce with #57 Grilled coconut curry shrimp. The cocktails really weren't good. The Golden Lotus was like drinking pure cinnamon and the Cherry Tree Potion was so sweet. The Saigon Mule was just ok. read more

I went for happy hour. I sat outside. The atmosphere was relaxing and cool. The food was delicious and the prices were great.

I think the design is nice. Inside on both sides there is a fake cherry blossom trees. The colors of the chairs was a good choice as well as the lights. Nice full bar. Food came out swiftly. Service was attentive. I ordered chicken coconut curry and an additional side of peanut sauce. I just love peanut sauce and theirs is pretty goooood. I smell the food cooking , frequently , and have been eager to sample some , for myself . Mother's Day and my wife's birthday happened to be on the same day , so I took the opportunity to take my wife there . We were greeted pleasantly at the door , and escorted to a nice table , and offered a beverage , right away . We perused the menu , and ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer . They arrived quickly , with a nice sauce for dipping , though , they were SO good , it wasn't necessary . My wife got a prosecco with pear juice , which came with a nice garnish , and she said it was delicious. I ordered the sizzling Mekong beef and steamed vegetables , and my wife had the pho tai . She says it is the best pho you can get , and I believe her , as she's had it in New York , Kansas City , New Orleans and any place else we go . I tried it , and I agree , as she's made sure I tasted it . She says it's even better than when she used to get it at the other , now closed location off of Ina Road . We were given a complimentary slice of cheesecake , as it was Mother's Day and her birthday , and it TOO was a generous portion , and VERY good !! We ended up taking quite a bit home , as the portions were generous , and we enjoy having leftovers the next day . The prices seem VERY REASONABLE, for what you get , where you are , and the quality of food and the quality of service . I have always been a big fan of Miss Saigon and wish they would reopen the one on Ina and I 10! Sadly, Miss Saigon Blossoms was a big disappointment. It has lost all of its unique character in exchange for a very modern vibe- more like Scottsdale... Our reservation was for 6PM and the place was relatively empty. Despite that, there were no setups on the table and we asked for same when our food was delivered. The waiter/bartender was very responsive without being intrusive which is appreciated. I was surprised at the limited menu offerings. I usually go with Pho and probably should have. Instead I ordered the house Lomein and it was very bland. I had to ask for a sauce to add some flavor and the only choice was Hoison. Better than nothing. I also thought the portion was small in comparison with other locations. We arrived at 10 PM and were taken to our table when someone from the kitchen came out and shouted 'the kitchen is closed.' So The host apologized and led us to the door. So we decided to give this place another chance/try. Had some family in town. Brought them there to try. We ordered the fried calamari. The flavor is good. However, the amount/portion was not enough to charge $18! I've been to many other vietnamese restaurants where I see it at $9 or under $12. When you set a price at $18, consumers would like a little more. And also there was a lot of small tentacles pieces. So I would rate that calamari dish a 2 stars, just because it had good flavors. We tried the bun bo hue. Again, flavor was good. But was not able to scoop noodles up with chopsticks because the noodles were all broken. The veggie plate was very sad. The bowl cost $20. Honestly, I can go to Pho Ngan and get a bowl for $15 and they have the right veggie plate! Why must you charge so expensive? If you lower your price , you might get more traffic in. We also got the bun cha hanoi. All im saying is, please do some research on what bun cha hanoi meats are used for this dish. And again, way too expensive!! The salmon ca ri. I have no positive comment. Like why not just make authentic chicken curry?? Lastly the bun thit nuong. Just have to say, Meh. Four entrees and 1 app, came out to $116!!!!!! That was a bit pricey. I want to say first off that the food here was really excellent. Tasty pho and I was really impressed by the vibrant flavors. Sadly the service here was pretty abysmal. I sat at the bar to try to get a quick dinner in before going to a concert and after I was seated, there was very little effort by anyone of the 3 servers nearby to take my order. Once I finally had my order in, the food came out pretty quickly but for the rest of my meal I had an empty water glass that never got filled. I was pretty thirsty and couldn't seem to get anyone's attention. By the time I got the attention of a server I had long finished my meal and was just trying to get the check. Maybe it would've been a different experience if I was sitting at a table, so take it with a grain of salt. The downtown location for Miss Saigon is so beautiful inside! Pictures do not give it the true beauty. So make sure you add to you list to visit and enjoy their delicious food! We went for our first visit the Friday after Thanksgiving. It was quiet, and we found parking a few blocks away for an easy walk to their location. We were seated right away and our server greeted us quickly as well. She took our drink order and we ordered our appetizer at the same time. I forgot to take a photo of the appetizer we ordered. We enjoyed the #4 Vietnamese rolls. It was served along with lettuce, julienned cucumber, cilantro leaves and vermicelli noodles. The fish sauce was delightful! My daughter ordered #41 Bun Cha Ha Noi. She enjoyed all the flavors of the beef and garnishes. My son ordered #63 Stir Fried Lo Mein with chicken and I ordered one with shrimp. The noodles were cooked great, the chicken and shrimp were plentiful! I only wished for my veggies. My husband ordered #70 Miss Saigon fried rice. He really enjoyed all of it. He ate it all! I will say the serving a large and you can easily make this two meals, one to take home. We hope to return soon. read more

Ambiance was really nice. I would love to visit for dinner and drinks. This visit I was there for lunch at opening. Service was pretty much perfect. It was quick, friendly, and the server came around to check on us at perfect intervals. I don't remember the name of the Pho we got but I had the short rib and my friend had the brisket. First off, the pho by itself was absolutely delicious! I want to go back already. I do wish it came with more bean sprouts though. My friend said her brisket was really good. The meet that comes with the pho was delicious and tender. My short ribs were pretty hard though. I didn't eat them. I wouldn't suggest the short rib as a protein choice. We also shared an order of dumplings for a starter and they were delicious also. I'd be willing to bet they were made there and not bought frozen like other restaurants. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Looks like a nice place for drinks. It has that low light, wine and spirits type bar I would like to have drinks in. read more

Did not like Saigon Blossoms very much. First, i and my companion, two women, got seated in a corner right by the restrooms, even though there was plenty of other space--tables by the windows, and very comfy booths. My view was a blank wall. Why do women get seated in bad locations all the time? Then there was the spring rolls. They were just shredded lettuce with one shrimp each. There was supposed to be pork as well, but I didn't find any. I ordered one of the the soups, and it was fine--nothing special but a good portion with an adequate amount of protein. I have heard so many good things about Miss Saigon and hadn't made it in until now. I definitely should have tried their food sooner because I was really satisfied and happy with my choices. I went on a Saturday night, without reservations. All the tables were spoken for, but there was room at the bar. The velvet bar stools were fairly comfortable and service was prompt. I tried their fried egg rolls and pho chin (it has brisket slices). The egg rolls were not greasy, super hot and very crispy with a good amount of pork inside. I thought the egg rolls would just come on their on, but they were served with lettuce, julienned cucumber, cilantro, vermicelli noodles, and a bowl of fish sauce. It was more entree sized than I expected. I shouldn't have eaten it all because it barely left room for my pho, but I was compelled to eat all four of them and most of the veggies and noodles. The pho was delicious and comforting. Miss Saigon's pho is perfect for when you have a cold or just want something soothing to your taste buds and stomach. The broth itself was super savory and fragrant. A lot of the pho broth I've had in the past were heavy on the fennel/anise/cinnamon, and those weren't my favorites. I'd been meaning to check out Saigon Blossoms since they opened, since I'm a longtime fan of Miss Saigon, and finally stopped in on a Tuesday around 7:30pm. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the ambiance is great. We really needed something like this in Tucson! Although it is an upscale version of Miss Saigon, the menu prices are about the same -- getting to go on a nice date without breaking the bank? In this economy? Amazing. Food was delicious, we ordered cocktails which were the best I've had in Tucson. Shoutout to the Saigon Blossoms bartender. Our server was so friendly and he ended up being cut for the night, and we wrapped up our meal with a different server who was also so nice. Seems like they've got a great team over there. 10/10 experience, hope this place gets all the business and hype that it deserves. read more

Very excited to see a Tucson favorite locate into this beautiful spot. The location is lovely with a bright cheery inviting interior. We had a nice early dinner. The crowd was good for a Monday night and we were seated promptly. Our server was great although we did find an error on our check, it was cleared quickly. The only issue we had was that our dinners came out at different times. I waited 5 minutes and my husband's dinner still hadn't arrived, so I dug into my tofu and enjoyed every bite. Got the house fried rice, and first impression it looked like straight white rice. It had no color like usual fried rice and didn't looked to be fried and had the same consistency as straight out the pot white rice. The chicken and shrimp were unseasoned with no flavor and even the rice was bland. It was a big disappointment as I was looking forward to their rice as I've had it at the old miss saigon on freeway/ Ina and it was my fave. My advice don't get the fried rice. read more

Located across from the Amtrak station, I anticipated the place being busier on a Friday night. We walked in and waited about 10 min until someone actually seated us. I had to go up to the bar to ask for a table. Once seated, their service was very good. Several people waited on us, asking several times if we needed anything else. My husband got the regular size #29. I got the #57, and my son got the chicken fried rice. My husband and my meals were delicious. Lots of flavor and great portion size. The fried rice was huge but didn't have too much flavor. Not what they're known for, so I wasn't too disappointed by that.
