I was impressed!! We went there for the Coltrane 100 with very low expectations, but the moment we stepped into the intimate space, it felt like we had entered a completely different world. With its retro decor and extensive mezcal cocktail menu, the Coltrane Centennial jazz performance completely transformed our perspective of this town in a way we had never experienced before. Highly recommended.

    Great cocktails!

What an awesome venue inside of Hotel Congress! We saw a great band here tonight with friends, and had amazing drinks! The guy who takes you to your seat is fabulous! I've been meaning to come here for years, and so glad I finally did!

Coffee borgata liqueur and cream. Big band jazz the Century Room stage was full! No more case of the Mondays when the music starts playing.

The Music!!!! Monday Night enjoyed Great Big Band Sound tonight! The stage was packed with talented musicians. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, the cocktails are superb. Would recommend the cold brew with Borgata liqueur with a splash of cream and dusting of cocoa.

What a cute place. Had a blast listening to some jazz music on Saturday night. Yummy cocktails too. The service was fast and snacks we ordered were delicious)

Lovely, intimate location to listen to jazz bands performing. Great decor that fits the jazz theme and a bit of the art deco style. They have a great menu of drinks including alcoholic and NA options. They even serve snacks. The waitresses are friendly and helpful and check up on you often and refill your water as needed. Paying is easy to as they bring the machine right to your seat and they can split the checks too. Downside is the stage is small and not elevated so if you are not in the front it's hard to see the band. The acoustics are great though. It was a packed house each night I went. I am amazed at how many people they got in there. This is definitely a date spot!

I've been wanting to hit this place for a while . So happy to finally check it off the must go list . Really enjoyed the show and the whole experience was the best way to end a great night in downtown .

I wish I had a place like this near where I live. What a find! We were here on a Wednesday to see Hot Club of Tucson perform and it was an incredible show. They performed so many great songs, many of which I was familiar with and many of which weren't typical jazz songs but were performed in such a creative jazz-inspired way. The space is really nice and the drinks are fantastic 10/10 for music, ambiance, and drinks :) My one complaint is the process for getting your tickets online shares very little information and isn't totally accurate. When we purchased our tickets it said if you upgraded to the preferred (closer) section, that if you didn't arrive on time people in the regular section could move up and take your seats. We weren't certain we would make it on time because of an earlier dinner reservation so didn't want to risk losing our seats and decided to just get seats in the regular section. That information about giving up your seats isn't true at all. We saw multiple tables of people arrive late and get seated in the preferred section which they had originally reserved. Also the preferred section gets table service while the rest of the tables need to order at the bar. I wish this was advertised as well. ALSO, the tickets were stated as being for two different shows, an earlier set and a later set sold as two separate ticket options. Because it was a weeknight and not a weekend, they didn't really follow this even though that's how the tickets were sold. The second set started WAY earlier than advertised and I saw someone show up very late because they had gotten a ticket for the 8:30pm show but the second set actually started around 7:50pm. The entire show ended at almost 9pm so this person basically missed over half the show they expected to see because it wasn't advertised accurately online. The Century Room is a 5 star jazz venue as far as I'm concerned, however the misinformation and confusion in what they advertise online regarding their shows is really unfortunate and should be resolved for the future. I would hate to be that guy who showed up for an 8:30 performance only to realize the show was almost over already.

Knowing that I've always wanted to catch their Monday big band show, my friend surprised me with tickets. I can confirm full regrets over not having gone sooner! Featuring a 17 piece band we opted to sit midway back and that was perfect (my watch still registered several decibel alerts Lol). The songs were all solid classics - from Duke to Basie. Fyi, despite the "school night" the 6:30p show was almost sold out. There's also a recently updated drinks menu and the appetizers no longer offer charcuterie boards (see pics). I tried the Tide/Bloom (good) but thankfully they still have my fav Tumbleweed and her new fav, the Tepache mule!

This may be my favorite place in Tucson to listen to live music. I attend nearly 100 shows a year from large festivals to small intimate home shows, so I've been in a lot of places listening to music. the Century Room shines. The cocktails are wonderful. The music, from Gypsy jazz to American songbook to more experimental jazz, is always top-notch. Paul, Arthur, the servers, the bartenders, and especially the musicians make this one of my favorite places to be in Tucson.

Wow! A dedicated jazz club in Tucson! Incredibly elegant and classy place. Minimal food, so eat before. Creative cocktails. Reasonably priced, especially compared to what you'd get in NYC. And, gets the best jazz I've experienced in a long time. Service excellent as well. If you love jazz, this is a do not miss venue. And the building , Hotel Congress, is very cool, too.

The Century Room is one of the best venues to hear music in Tucson and probably the best place to hear jazz within the Four Corners! Enjoy the beautifully designed room, great staff and delightful drinks. Best non-alcoholic bevs around, too! Get some tickets, invite your friends, put on some nice clothes, have a beverage, listen to some talented musicians, and you won't be sorry! You'll start looking for the next show you can see there as soon as you leave!

Tucson is so fortunate to have a Jazz Club like the Century Room. We have been here for three different performances and each one has been so unique and a fantastic music experience! Last night has to be our favorite so far! The music performance by Danny Janklow and the elevation band, which is made of Tucson musicians, was incredible! They celebrated the music of John Coltrane. Danny is an exceptional saxophonist! Wow! I mean we continued talking about him at dinner and this morning during breakfast. He performed a new song at the end of his set playing a soprano saxophone that was so hip and full of life! I cannot wait for that to be recorded on his next album. His Fiance Katherine Ella Wood was the vocalist for a few songs and she was delightful. I will say the pianist Jon Eldridge II was fabulous! I am still thinking about how he played those keys on that piano! Incredible. Of course Arthur Vint on drums is always a special time to hear him join the band! Jeff Sandberg on bass is a very talented musician as well! The Century Room is a special vibe on its own. We love the interior with the long bar and intimate seating. The drinks are always wonderful. I especially love their mocktail called desert blossom spritz. So refreshing! We didn't ordering any boards to snack on this time. But they are always a good start to the evening. We look forward to our next jazz night visit! Truly a special place in our Old Pueblo!

These drinks are innovative, thoughtful, and aesthetically pleasing in a way that leaves you excited for more and expands one's idea of a well-made libation. Inspired by a medley of global flavors, Juniper started off as a side project from a local brewery and unexpectedly exploded into a swanky hangout with zero seats left open on weekend nights. Yes, virtually everything on the menu is gin-based. But that shouldn't scare you away! Gin is essentially a neutral spirit infused with botanicals and/or citrus, so if you had a bad experience with one brand, there will be another out there you'll fall in love with. Elliott, the General Manager of the bar, elevates the passionate curation of his menu to perfection. Here are some examples of what you might fall in love with: Balzy Maracuya: A 'maracuya' is a passion fruit beverage originating from South America. In this drink, fruity flavors are enhanced with popping boba filled with balsamic vinegar. Botanist: Upscale gin and tonic with thyme, rosemary, and star anise. Cronus Punch: Rum punch lovers will be blown away by the rare sighting of clarified gin On special ocassions, you'll find limited edition items like gin sorbet affogatos and horchata martinis. At the turn of each new year, there's a menu rotation that may sadly remove some of my faves. But here, at Juniper I can guarantee two things: Something uniquely enjoyable, and a gracious staff that will be happy to explain the intricacies of lesser-known spirits on the shelf. In 2026, I predict it will remain one of Tucson's hottest cocktail hangouts.

It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

We were greeted by a giant statue of a unicorn zebra and of course took a selfie. We then went to the bar area and absolutely loved the dark speakeasy vibes. Mine even came in a zebra mug. We also learned that this bar has both an upstairs and downstairs area. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and headed home. This place left such an impression that we have been back two times since. On another occasion we had Nate the bartender. He had a lovely personality and accommodated all of the guests that came in near closing. We enjoyed Santa's Banana Hammock and Unicorn Ski Accident. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem.
