Our wedding cake and cupcakes turned out GORGEOUS and DELICIOUS. We knew we wanted a desert theme, so it was a match-made-in-heaven when we came across Ambrosia. Annie was a pleasure to work with, she was super sweet and helpful! We ended up picking the pumpkin spice for our main cake, banana for half the cupcakes, and chocolate for the other half; all of which were delicious! We could not be happier with the cakes and HIGHLY recommend Ambrosia!

If you're in need of an amazing baker you've found her! Annie is absolutely incredible and so easy to work with. Her attention to detail makes every dessert a work of art and her flavors are out of this world good! Our household is particularly obsessed with her red velvet and honestly, it's the best cake I have ever had. Highly recommend Ambrosia Cakes!

Annie made a gorgeous cake for my wife's 40th birthday! It was also delicious, and made the party particularly special. We arranged to have me pick it up at 7:30am on a Sunday morning (!) in order to make it work with my schedule, which was incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommend Ambrosia Cakes. She could not have been more helpful and responsive.

We adored Annie! She created a beautiful two tiered cake and a ton of delicious cupcakes for our wedding! The cake was one of the most important wedding details to me and we were lucky enough to work with Annie who happily made two new tea flavors for us! Her rum cake and red velvet are to die for and the texture of her cake and buttercream is so smooth. Her cupcakes were a hit with all our guests, there were none left (she also set a box aside for us to enjoy later), and we still have some cake for our first anniversary!

I had the pleasure of tasting Annie's cake for the first time at the Tucson Bridal Expo at the l Conquistador resort. Right away my husband and I knew this was the cake we had to have for our wedding. The process of meeting, tasting, and order was seamless, fast, and enjoyable. All of the cakes she brought to the tasting were delicious. We decided on a simple three tier cake with the top and bottom layers Almond and Strawberry Champagne with Strawberry Buttercream, and the middle layer Mexican Hot Chocolate. It was absolutely perfect (the taste and decor) and our guests loved it! Thank you so much, Annie! We can't thank you and recommend you enough for making the perfect cake for us.

With the exception of the brightly colored cake in the middle, all of these cakes were created for my geek-meets-elegant wedding.

Annie took on our very specialized specific and really delivered! Her cakes were not only delicious, but people loved our unique take on the standard wedding cake. We had Annie create 7 cakes for us, each carved and shaped like things from our favorite things. My husband and I are big geeks, so we wanted our likes to be brought into the cakes. She created a TARDIS, a Dalek (which was probably my favorite), a Mario Brother's Mushroom, The Hylian Shield from the Legend of Zelda, The Death Star a golden Snitch and an owl. We requested that the colors be muted so we could have the cakes be a bit more elegant and Annie nailed that. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that most of the guests thought the owl was a pineapple. Once I explained that it was an owl, they got it, but it did look kind of like an owl. Overall, Annie did a great job with our very difficult order and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. And her cakes are delicious! Everyone raved about them.

Vanilla almond + lemon with raspberry filling! Yum!

I requested a cake tasting from Ambrosia Cakes. Annie met me at Starbucks with a sampling of what she had to offer for wedding cake flavors. The presentation of the samplings were awesome. She was very personable, professional, and genuine. We talked about the type of cake I wanted...flavors, decor and she gave me exactly what I wanted. The cake arrived at the wedding on time and perfect. The taste of the cake was phenomenal! We had many compliments on the cake and it's great flavor. There was some left over and I can't stop eating it! The flavors we chose were Vanilla Almond + Lemon with a Raspberry Filling. Perfect flavors for a spring wedding. Worth every penny! I highly recommend Ambrosia Cakes for any special event.

Ordered my wedding cake/cupcakes through Annie. She took my ideas and created the perfect cake! The cake and cupcakes were amazing! Looked beautiful and tasted delicious! I was more than satisfied and would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend this bakery. Annie the owner was easy to contact, prompt at returning calls, and was very creative. The was delicious!

You really wouldn't see this place driving down Wilmot because it's tucked behind two businesses, with 4 fifteen minutes parking spots designated for the shop. I think I've sampled every pie. The size is perfect to split with someone. No drinks or other things are available here, but one can purchase drinks down the way at Beyond Bread. The staff are always getting customers rung up and out quick. Because the space is so small you go in the entrance, order your pies and then go out an exit door. There's no room for meandering or window shopping. You just wait your turn to look and order right away and I rung up the whole space is quite small nonetheless it's fun to go there and get a little treat now and again. And today was one of those days. My mom and I parked while my sister was checking out Bookmans. We picked out a pie to share, went to the patio to eat it, and it was good.

There are many flavor options and even a couple of non-dairy choices. The service is a bit hit-or-miss, and really just depends on the staff there at the time as well as the specific location. Beyond the regular cones and cups they also have some options such as the flight, nachos, and the banana split. They also specific which flavors have gluten. They used to advertise that their dairy came from grass-fed cows, but that stopped a few years ago so I'm guessing that is no longer the case. So for those who pay attention to such things, take note!
