My mom hired Desert Bloom Confections to make my wedding cake. I was not involved in the full process from start to finish, but the areas I was a part of were mostly good but interesting in some cases. We ordered a two-tier cake and provided some photos and a description of what we wanted. We were not given any idea of final design, so the cake was a complete mystery until the wedding, which seemed odd to me. The other issue that my mom experienced was the payment portal. The portal website functionality for the 1st payment was not very user-friendly, and parts of information were missing from the screen. F9r the 2nd payment my mom had to You had to use a huge screen to see the information, including the price, card payment fields, and everything else. Not a big inconvenience, but definitely needs to be fixed so you can view it on any screen size. Lastly, my mom said there were a couple of communication issues with not getting called back. But, besides those minor issues, the final cake was awesome! It looked beautiful and was a great center piece to look at for the reception. The top tier was chocolate cake with raspberry filling, and the bottom tier was vanilla cake with strawberry filling. We loved it regardless of the small issues that were faced. We were beyond thrilled to receive the cake that Tiffany made for my daughter's graduation. Not only was it beautifully done (and the picture doesn't do it justice), but it tasted amazing! Plus Tiffany was kind enough to deliver it to the home we were renting. It was sturdy enough that we were able to take it to the restaurant and everyone had cake envy for sure! The owner will stump you on miss communication skills on payments. If you cancel in the order time frame(she likes) she will make you responsible paying for her ordering all the cake supplies no matter what. Had this happen to me however I have back up text messages of when i said, " no thank you" and it was her mistake that she went ahead and ordered the supplies then lies on pay pal what you are responsible to pay this business back. Just a very important heads up. Retaliation upon this company seems very common. read more
