I had a really confusing experience the other night and I'm still trying to make sense of it. I was picking up an order for a friend and remembered I had a birthday coupon. I asked if I could use it to get a strawberry cheesecake Bundt cake, and the employee told me they were "technically out" and that she wasn't supposed to offer it in-store--only for online orders. So I asked, "Okay, can I just place the order online right now then?" She told me no. That's where I got confused... because my friend had literally just placed an order for three of them, and I was there to pick it up. So if they're available, why can't I buy one in-store? And if it's online-only, why couldn't I just order it online right then? After going back and forth a bit, she got flustered, went to the back, and came out with the exact cake I had asked for. Thankfully, I have a local bundt spot! This location is very close to my job site and not far from my home. There are always several, cute gift options located throughout the rather small shop such as coffee mugs, travel mugs, aprons, salt & pepper shakers, cards, etc. The shop itself is small but mighty! The employees are always so friendly and helpful. I believe I encountered the owner once and she was such a sweetheart. I appreciate this spot occasionally offering buy one get one free (BOGO) bundlets, but you must be signed up for their email notifications. I rarely get the larger cakes. I'm more of a fan of the personal size bundlets for myself and the mini bundtinis to take for a special occasion i.e. parties, baby showers, employee appreciation, office events, potlucks, etc. I will definitely be back soon.
