Parking is in the back and seemed pretty crowded even though I visited during an "off" time -- around 2pm -- for lunch. Still, I eventually found a spot and didn't have to walk too far. The inside of the shop is nothing fancy: order at the window and pick up when your name is called. There are a few 2-person tables inside by the order window and some outdoor tables. There may be some tables in the front, but I didn't make it up there. I had the full-szed Badger as it comes standard (Steak, Pepper Jack, Grilled Onion, Grilled Mushroom, Grilled Pepper, Grilled Jalapeño, Lettuce, Pickles, Chipotle Ranch, Garlic Spread) on Ciabatta bread. Even though I thought I was hungry, it was a LOT of sandwich and I could have been fine with the half. The place was empty save for two other people waiting on orders and they departed quickly upon receiving their sandwiches. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful while I decided what I wanted to order and offered some suggestions. I sat at one of the small tables and enjoyed my hot, fresh sandwich: the sandwich was both temperature hot and spicy hot, thanks to the really nice jalapeños! I'l definitely come back!

Folks behind the counter are very friendly. The only thing I noticed is they seem to struggle with a really clunky point of sale system. There were many looks and gasps of bewilderment from the two folks trying to ring up orders. This significantly slowed down the long line. They have weird policies around adding chicken to the Bobbi salad. It literally makes no sense to charge $3.50 to add chicken to that salad when it costs $2.99 to add it to any other salad. It's the same amount of chicken, according to the folks behind the counter, but they have to do what the clunky point of sale system tells them to do. Otherwise the food is good and it's a decent spot to grab a note to eat. I recommend the bullrider wrap. Don't add chicken to your Bobbi salad. Mayhem.

It is a nice setup if you are with a group and everyone wants something different. I ordered the Butcher Burger and it was really good. The burger itself was massive and cooked well. The bun was a little oversized for the burger, but honestly it did not take away from it. I only made it through about half before I was full. The fries were awesome. Crispy, well seasoned, and a perfect side to go with the burger. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes you get. You definitely feel like you are getting your money's worth here. The environment is very family friendly and welcoming. It is a relaxed place where you can sit down, eat, and not feel rushed. If you are looking for a great burger and fries, GM Kitchen 86 is definitely worth checking out.

I ordered the Huevo rancheros, which is a Unique move for me since I usually avoid this dish. However, I saw a picture of it on yelp, and it just looks so good. I'm glad I went with my gut because it truly was delicious! It was a great portion, and I really like that the crunchy parts were tostada-like. My friend got the Korean pork sandwich with fries, and she liked her meal too. I do consider myself a french fry, connoisseur, and at first glance, I didn't think much of their fries. But upon tasting them, they had the perfect crunch and the perfect dash of salt. They were good! I got one of their chocolate chip toffee cookies and it was bomb!! I definitely had to hold back from ordering another. I can definitely see why people like this restaurant , from the low-key and local community feel, the great service, fresh ingredients, and they even have merch that they sell from wine, to canned drinks and stationary... something for everyone!

When I went on Wednesday evening around 6:30pm, the service was actually really good from everyone except the person labeled manager on her shirt. She was manning the cashier and was very dry and unhelpful. When my friend asked for a list of veggie options on the sandwich, she really just kind of stared at us with no answer stating "there's all kinds" or something vague like that. When we saw the cookies and desserts at the register we asked what it was (inquiring about the flavor), and she answered, "a cookie." That was kind of silly to me. After I paid and she kind of motioned that she was ready for the next customer, I asked about my receipt. She responded by asking if I wanted one and stating that the machine was out of paper or something. I would've appreciated her stating that rather than just not giving me my receipt and assuming that I didn't want one. I also felt like if I'm asking you for my receipt, asking me if I want one is somewhat redundant. I didn't realize she was a manager until my friend pointed out the tag on her shirt while we were waiting for food. My friend and I interacted with three other workers while we were there , one of them being Joe who I believe made our sandwiches. All 3 of of them had exceptional service! This is a small shop with maybe four tables, so takeout might be your best bet . The sandwich was cool, but management should do better.

There was a young man with blond hair and another worker (Joe) who were extremely polite and hospitable. They were quick to make adjustments and made me and my friend feel welcome. I got the Philly cheesesteak adding mayo, lettuce and tomato. It had great flavor. I'm not sure they have the capability to toast sandwiches which would prevent me from coming back. The bread is very soft and for a hearty sandwich like the cheesesteak it needs crispier bread.

This place is located in an artsy / entertainment district close to downtown. When we went, there was road construction nearby that made getting here more challenging. Once we located it, the next challenge was parking. We visited around noon on a Saturday. There are no large parking lots, so you have to find something on-street. We ventured a couple of blocks off the main street and found something. However, the signage wasn't really clear on whether you had to pay on weekends or not. We accessed the parking app via a QR code, but it told us that our space 'was not available', despite the fact that we were in the space. A guy leaving the space next to us confirmed that parking *was* free on weekends, so we trusted that and walked to the restaurant. In retrospect, I think the app meant that we did not need to pay, but 'not available' seems a bit vague for that... The restaurant is located on a strip of old storefronts that now house restaurants, record shops, etc. There was a lot of pedestrian traffic out front, including a homeless guy asking for change. The atmosphere was sort of a loud, slightly cramped dive bar. I don't mean that in a bad way, but that was the vibe. The music was loud - none of it was familiar but I didn't hate it. I guess my point is that if you are looking for a quiet spot for lunch, this is probably not it. We initially were offered a table on their covered patio. We left one person there while sorting out parking, but when we came back they had a booth inside so we grabbed that instead. The patio seemed shaded and semi-comfortable, other than a loud barking dog. We browsed the menus and ordered our food. We all got half-and-half combos (soup/salad or sandwich/soup). The only issue was that the soups came in a bread bowl. I was able to finish my soup, but felt bad about not eating more of the bowl. If I'd had the option, I would have gotten a plastic bowl. The salad was pretty big, despite being only half. I finished most of it. We ended up having sufficient leftovers from others such that we took them back to our hotel (a relatively short drive) and finished them the next evening. All the food was tasty. This wasn't what I was expecting, but I'd consider eating here again given the right circumstances / group.

When first entering it's a very small booths and bar but if you continue down the hall past the bathrooms they have a big open outside/indoor patio seating area! Great if you have kids or pets with you So the food. Honestly some of the best sandwiches I've ever had Their combo with the bread bowl and half a sandwich is hard to beat to be honest. A little bit of both worlds there I recommend eating the bread bowl first because it's more filling that you think and you can take the sandwich home They have a wide range of options for everyone And even offer a picky kid friendly sandwiches like PB & J, might sound boring or normal but that was the best PB & J I've ever had The staff is very nice and helpful They run the bar also and will bounce between the bar and your table So if the bar is busy I'm sure it could take a bit for you to order at your table Great food Great environment And friendly people Highly recommended!

Univ/3rd Av Tram stop, Free for now, so conveniently placed on Time's door stop with a time tracker to plan your trip, so not to miss the show ;) Beautiful lit courtyard with tree cover from the beating sun to offer some al fresco dining. Cooler climes indoors consist of shallow window bars and small tables nestled in between market shelves and the open kitchen. Consistently busy through the day, you may find yourself lingering a minute for a spot. There's minimal parking on side of building, and on Univ Blvd main street but resident reserved during daytime week day hours. Basically a scratch kitchen with pasta, Sammie bread, and pizza made in house. House pasta, bakery case, & Organic greens beautifully presented on their grocery side make their way onto plates so perfectly balanced by their vinaigrettes / dressings and specials. Pair your mains from the cold case of curated probiotic sodas, buch, & hops and vine. Best pasta I've had in my memory with a unique medley of mushrooms-- chesnut, maitakes and oysters in a shroom broth that definitely featured silky butter. As a Daily special, be sure to read the board next to the restaurant register, I almost ordered the albacore Sammie haha. Our 3 diners having also missed it, longingly loved the bite I shared. Their sausage, pepperoni pizzas & charcuterie salad were very pleasing but all agreed the pasta reigned supreme! The market side showcases the best in local and international pantries from Balsamic, Salt, Chocolate, Condiments, Canned, Teas & Coffee, etc and a Cheese & Deli Case. Be sure to lay eyes on the Ferrari of Slicing machines, a gorgeous black and gold showpiece behind the case. After the show we stopped again for coffee & dessert but had just missed last call for coffee at 9P, an hr before close, so sad. The chocolate cake had also disappeared and just a few cookies and few slices white cake remained. Be warned lol Our next visit will not wait another 2 years, the best kind of work to wade through TM's boards :D
