Came here for lunch today with a friend. Hadn't been here in a really long time. I had their mix and match half sandwich and chips with aside. My friend also had a sandwich with chips. It's been several years since we have eaten at this location. A craving for a large loaded potato and a Yankee Sandwich found us returning to what was a great option. The menu for the most part appeared to be pretty much unchanged. I ordered the loaded Mexican Potato, the hot corn beef & pastrami yankee sandwich and a half corn beef sandwich for our son. The price for one and a half sandwiches and a baked potato with three small drinks was $57. Seems a little steep even in today's economy. I scanned the salad bar as we went to get our drinks and it was displaced and a little messy. Dressing we spilled onto topping and the salad looked a little old. We sat down and or food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Which was not a good thing. When the food came I asked the server if he could bring a side of mustard which I ordered with our food but didn't get. As we waited for the mustard my wife cut into the potato and found that it was barely warm. The cheese not even partially melted. We didn't want to ask for it to be reheated because the other toppings would have been heated like the lettuce and tomatoes and we were on a time constraint. After sitting and looking for the server I decided to go up to the counter and asked for it myself. After returning I took my first bit and realized my sandwich was ice cold. Cheese was unmelted on both my sandwich and my sons. My wife said the potato was okay and would have been better if they had cooked it the way they use to. Remember it coming out steaming hot. We finished our meal and departed being extremely disappointed. And no, the server never returned with my mustard. I would say that based on our visit Jason's deli is no longer the place we knew a few years ago. For being not busy. There's no excuse for a cold "hot sandwich" and a lukewarm loaded baked potato. I took my Grandson, and my daughter to this place because everything in Tucson seems to be packed for Mothers day and Graduations. The place has a nice ambient. There was a line. The food was just ok. I ordered the Pastrami Reuben. The portion was good. The meat was tender, however the sauerkraut was not seasoned correctly which was a disappointment. Now I know I am no longer in Germany, however I have had better cooked n seasoned sauerkraut. My spicy gumbo seafood was just that spicy with very little seafood. My daughter's caprese chicken didn't have tomatoes. So overall if I had to eat there again in my opinion only I would not return. Maybe they had an off day, that happens. First time here and I'm gonna try and be honest here as this was a pretty awful experience. Luckily this was a catering event that I received my food order for a work event. I'll break this down in categories. The rest of the catering food was fine, so that's a plus. Temperature- This was just cold, and not warm at all. Tasted like a sandwich that was left out for half a day. (See pictures) Food quality- The meatball tasted like rubber (not kidding) and the sauce was nonexistent (see pictures). The bread was dry and hard like it was sitting out for long periods of time. Presentation- Honestly, this looked like someone didn't know how to cut a sub or just didn't really care to put much effort. Personally I'm not bothered by this if my food taste good but it just made this experience bad. Overall experience- Safe to say while I understand that mishaps happen, this to me just felt so wrong in a lot of ways. From the temperature of the food , to the quality and presentation. As someone who's never been here I can safely say I'll never return here as I just can't get that nasty rubber taste out of mouth (meatballs). I cannot in good faith recommend eating this particular item. I can't believe I've never eaten here, nor had I ever heard anyone talking about it. I met a friend there for lunch and was impressed from the moment I walked in. The restaurant is clean and open, with quite a few tables and booths to choose from. I didn't choose the salad bar this time, but will probably try it another visit. There were so many options there, it all looked fresh, and it was tidy, not like some salad bars are messy with spills of things all over. I ordered the Chicken Club Salad, and it was delightful. They have two sizes to choose from for their salads. This one was full of crisp, fresh veggies, big chunks of moist and flavorful chicken, and I could get as much ranch dressing as I wanted from the salad bar. It was a healthy, filling lunch. The only downside was one of the workers who delivered our food to the table. He practically slammed our food onto the table, didn't interact with us at all, and seemed very grumpy. I like that they include hummus, olives, a couscous dish. Many Mediterranean options. I will probably come here as soon as they open because by the time I came in the salad bar looked pretty messy after the rush of lunch. I had this location cater a an order of about 20 sandwiches and extras to a client lunch at SW Gas which I was told from the manager they were familiar delivering to. I had a window from 11:30-noon and mu order didn't show up until 1:00 when most of my clients had to go to other meetings, and evertime I called to check on status, I was told the driver is 10 minutes away. Once my order did come, it was incomplete and I had to give my order to a client that had his order completely missed and had to apologize to multiple other clients that did not receive their add on I paid for. Once it showed up and I called the manager Estevan to inform him of the items that where missing, he said he would make them and deliver however it was already an hour and a half late and I told him clients were going back to work so he said he was sorry very nonchalantly while I am looking bad in from of my clients. Then he went on to say he would speak to his boss and see what kind of credit they could give me, and he would call me back before ends day. Well that was over 2 days ago and I still have not heard a peep from anyone from Jason's Deli. This wasn't a huge order, however it was 400 dollars plus I gave a nice tip to be treated like I bought a 20 dollar sandwich is disconcerting and I would not recommend at least this location to cater an office event. read more

Since my wife and I are on the keto diet, we love all of the options here at Jasons deli. The salad options are beyond top-notch. They have regular prepared salads that hit the spot and they also have an outstanding salad bar. You can also get your sandwiches protein style, wrapped in lettuce as an option if you're on the keto diet. I know this doesn't appeal to all but just the fact that you can select what you want makes this a great place to dine. The customer service is always good and they do offer military discount which is another bonus. The establishment is always clean with plenty of seating and really fast service. read more

Today got the first time I ordered from here, this will be my last time as well. I got my food delivered which wasn't the issue. The issue was the quality of the food. I had ordered a club royal, broccoli and cheddar soup, two count of the 4mini muffins, a sweet tea and a root beer float. When my food arrived the root beer float was melted. The broccoli cheddar soup was so think and clumpy it didn't look right. It looked like cottage cheese. I tried to stir it to see if that help! But nope, when I was picking it up with a spoon it wouldn't even drizzle down. It looked like cottage cheese. I am so sorry that I forget about this place when choosing where to eat out. I was very happy to visit with my daughter. The menu has changed and there are SO many options and so many delicious looking choices. We were eating in, so I HAD to opt for the salad bar! I am not sorry at all. The most scrumptious salad I have had for quite a while. All my favorites and super fresh. By the time I served myself, my daughter already had her manager's special.
