Who would've thought a drive thru salad would be so delicious? When I'm on the go for work and beep boppin around town, I usually opt for salad and go. I also love that the salads can come as wraps!! The summer blueberry basil lemonade is a must. read more

Went through their drive through last week for the first time. I ordered my salad and it was very fresh. I was extremely happily initially. I ordered my spinach salad with steak, avocado, feta, black olives, tomatoes, and red onions. For the dressing I always get the same no matter where I order. Blue cheese! This is where it went wrong for me. The blue cheese wasn't just bad, it was AWFUL! I've never seen such a watered down version of my beloved blue cheese. It was bad enough that they didn't offer fresh mushrooms, but this? And the poor quality gristle steak? Criminal lol! I would have left four stars if the dressing was even ok, but it wasn't. No reason to ever return. read more

I love this place and is my go to when I'm in Tucson running errands. It's so fast. The salads are huge and filled with goodness at affordable prices. I always get their tasty juices as well. I love that I can put tofu on everything as a vegetarian that gives me a lot of options. read more

Salad and Go has become our go-to every time we're in Arizona. It's such a reliable spot for a quick, healthy bite that doesn't break the bank. The salads are always super fresh, generously portioned, and surprisingly affordable. This time, I went with the Thai salad and added tofu--such a great combo. The peanut dressing is hands down my favorite; it ties everything together with the perfect balance of sweet and savory. It's refreshing to find a fast-casual spot where you don't have to compromise on quality or flavor. Whether you're grabbing something post-hike or just want a clean meal on the go, this place never disappoints. Now that we live in AZ we will be regulars. read more

It's very fast service on a drive-through with extremely fresh produce and value Menu items. I'm a big fan! For a while, I was getting salads at least once a week. My favorite salads are the Thai and the Roasted Autumn. Salads and wraps are the same price (approximately $7) and you can choose tofu or chicken (I love the tofu!) They offer a little protein box with options, burritos for breakfast, and soup -- I've tried these a few times and wasn't too impressed. They have varieties of lemonade and cold brew coffees for under $2. The blueberry basil lemonade is really tasty. The cold brews don't seem consistent and a couple times they tasted pretty bad (so bad that I threw it out or once asked for a remake, the remake tasted how they usually do) so I stopped getting those. read more

We've been to Salad & Go a handful of times in the past couple of years, but often forget about it as an option. A friend had given us a gift card, so we stopped on our way home this week. We both got the southwest breakfast burrito, mine in a bowl, my husband's in a tortilla. I appreciated them having a couple of options without potatoes. When we pulled them out of the bag, they looked kind of sparse, but when I put mine in a low carb tortilla shell, it easily filled it up. It was a satisfying breakfast. I've had their salads before, and that is always a good deal! We'll do that next time. read more

Still my favorite fast food place in Tucson. I have never been disappointed with the healthy delicious options. The seasonal selection is always amazing. Their current Roasted Autumn Salad with sweet potato and brussel sprouts is my current go to selection. The price on the drinks was increased to just over a dollar but still absolutely worth it. This place beats chipotle any day of the week with their food and pricing better wraps and burritos too. Great customer service

First time trying SAG. Love the concept, price, drink offerings and salad varieties. I was expecting more protein than what was in my salads ( I ordered a buffalo chicken and Thai tofu). The amount of the greens/vegetables is generous, but the amount of protein for both the chicken and the tofu (especially the tofu) was skimpy and not enough for what is supposedly a meal sized salad. Also the Thai salad dressing was unexpectedly overly spicy. The tofu was well marinated, but wish there was some indication that the dressing has spice. The chicken corn chowder was decent although again not a lot of chicken. Not sure I would order it again. Some of the photos from other reviewers show a lot more protein in their salads- not sure if they ordered extra portions though. Everything tasted fresh and I would return to see if the amount of protein is the same. Granted an extra protein portion at $1.44 isn't going to break the bank, but it would be nice to have some gauge of what a protein size is so expectations can be proportionate. read more

This place is great! Prices and portions are great. Ease of ordering online is great! Good variety, many dressing options for gluten free. Salads are big! I'm not sure how it is when you order in person, but online it limits you from ordering extras, even though it says you can but will be charged... And for very picky kids who don't like salad, there isn't much options. I got broccoli cheese soup which was fine but I guess it's a special, not sure what I would do if that wasn't an option.... But will be back! Love quick salads, great idea! Everything was ripe and fresh! read more

I hate (hate) to give a SAG anything but the best. Buuuut - this location is HORRIFIC to navigate. If they left it Roses and more with a back service window it would have been 20 times better than this. Whoever designed the parking lot thought urban planning classes was their sim city gaming. There are two ordering lanes where people fight for from both sides coming Northbound Craycroft and Eastbound Speedway. This gets hectic and you know how people get when in a vehicle, not rational. A kicker- to get in the parking lot some genius thought you can squeeze it around a water main. Everyone but a smart car has already hit the curbs. They are already black and you can watch it all happen when you make it past the order stage in drive through (prepare to be there a little while - but that is dinner and a show). However, be careful when you leave because if the lines ever get phoenix long, well then you are boxed in after you pickup your food. I am serious that there will be a problem here. If the owners do not recognize that and address then customers will limit capacity themselves by not going here. Such a shame as the business, model and food is always a treat. I just rather drive by the one in Casa Grande or skip having a SAG lunch when in town. read more

Based on rave reviews from friends in Phoenix, I was excited for this to open. Eating out is so expensive anymore, especially if you want fresh AND healthy food, so I don't know how they have such low prices, but keep it up, Salad and Go! I ordered online and hit the pickup window on my way to work, which was super convenient. You pay online, park, ring the doorbell at the pickup window, and they have you on your way in no time. It does get very busy, so beware coming in and out of the parking lot. I ordered a Fiesta Breakfast Burrito and the seasonal Brussel Sprout Caesar. It was $10 for my breakfast and lunch. The burrito was alright, pretty bland and needed the salsa to perk it up. For $3, I wasn't mad though, because it was HUGE. And it was really convenient to get two meals in one stop. The salad was great. Everything was fresh and it kept nicely until I was ready to eat lunch. I swapped the caesar dressing for balsamic vinaigrette, which was good. I will be back for more salads, and I am looking forward to trying their cold brew and other drinks, because I've heard a lot about them. Really good value for your money! read more

Salad and Go - Tofu Cobb no bacon - Fast Food Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I was so pumped when I heard that a drive-through salad place was opening up in Tucson. I love salads, but ordering them for takeout can be pretty pricey. Salad and Go is super affordable and has so many amazing options! My boyfriend and I went for the grand opening special. I got the Southwest breakfast burrito with egg, turkey sausage, pepper jack cheese, and roasted poblano peppers, and he got the Fiesta burrito with egg, turkey sausage, potatoes, pepper jack cheese, and tortilla strips. We both thought they were tasty, filling, and a great deal for $2.99. The salsa comes in a packet on the side. It's quite tasty with a mild-to-medium spice level. My only complaint is I needed more of that delicious salsa! I'll definitely order an extra packet next time. For our salads, I ordered the jalapeño ranch with chicken, and he got the Cobb with chicken. It was hard to choose--there were several others that sounded amazing. I meant to ask for Buffalo chicken with my salad but totally forgot. I appreciate that they have that as an option as well as tofu and shrimp (for an up-charge). The salads are a good size for a filling lunch. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the dressing was pretty flavorful. I just wish it had more of a jalapeño kick! I also wish the salad had pickled jalapeños in it, too, but the pickled red onions gave it a nice zing. The salads are also reasonably priced at less than $6. Most local fast-casual salad options with this many toppings are $9+, so I really appreciate having Salad and Go come to Tucson. We also saw the $1 cold brew on the menu and needed no convincing to grab a couple of those! I love that oat milk is an option. We both thought the cold brew was delicious, especially for a buck. I will definitely be back for my salad (and breakfast burrito, and cold brew...) fix! read more

Have been coming to this place since its opened. I absolutely love the freshness and quality and the pricing is great. In and out- Done. Today I ordered a Cobb Salad. The tomatoes tasted old and were already wrinkled in the salad. All of them, not just one. The person at the window, was also not friendly at all. People are entitled to off days but today, no acknowledgement from window girl. I wasn't sure once I was handed my food if I should leave or not yet. No, thank you, no have a nice day- just silence. She only spoke to tell me my total. Completely not the norm for this place. Obviously, I'll continue to give this place a try. I'm hoping this was a one time fluke. Because this isn't the norm, I'm giving a 4. But based on today's sole experience (not knowing past), it would be 3. read more

I was tired of eating fast food on the go and I spotted this little gem on the side of the road. We pulled through the drive thru and ordered a Cobb salad as well as the caprese. They were both really good and fresh! The price is cheap and you get a good amount. The cucumber mint lemonade is to die for!! So as a first time visitor I was looking forward to trying this new drive through salad bar on this 100 degree day. After placing our order and paying for the food, I was told they were out of straws. Ok...I guess that can happen. No biggie. We parked and began the process of splitting the $6+Cobb salad and discovered they did not add the second fork as requested. So, I approached the walk up window, rang the buzzer, and watched as the entire crew ignored me for 7 minutes. I came around to the drive through side and made my request after the worker completed the order of the folks in their car. I approached the walk up window again, now open, and requested my fork which was delivered. As we ate the salad, my 10 year old daughter screamed in fright! I looked and saw the multicolored bug laying in the bottom of her salad bowl. I returned the evidence to the walk up window where the worker quickly apologized and asked if I wanted a refund. I replied in the affirmative. She slammed the window, returned a few moments later and asked for my card. It clearly says "cash" on the receipt. The window slammed shut again a d a few moments later the worker returned and handed me the $6+ say with a smirk on her face, "Have a nice day." The window slammed one last time just as my daughter exited the vehicle to be of assistance since the process seemed so irregular. No. I would not ever eat at any of these establishments again. I will instruct future generations of my family to never eat there and to tell all their friends not to participate in building the prosperity of this establishment. Whatever the process is for the preparation of food for delivery to the public it is inadequate. My daughter has severe allergic reaction to ingested insect fecal matter and this little salad could have resulted in a trip to the ER with a negative outcome if she had ingested this bug. I have recently completed a study of GMO products a d now am in favor of the process and its results of minimizing insects on plants consumed by humans. Regardless of that, the rudness, mis-communication of my order, failure to answer the walk up window in a timely manner indicates to me this may have been a racially motivated act! Sad to think that is the case especially while I am wearing my US Air Force Veteran hat. read more

Yummy salads at affordable prices and yummy lemonades def recommend was flavorful and tasty

Me and a friend came by for a little more healthy option for lunch, since we both have been bad on our lunches recently. I got the Jalapeño Ranch, and he got the Thai. I will start with the good, which is a lot. For the price you get A LOT of salad and the ingredients seems really fresh and clean. They where very accommodating on me changing the order, and the lemonade really tasted like it was fresh squeezed. I was pretty happy with my lunch today, and didn't feel "bogged" down like normal fast food. Now for the bad, which is not that much really. For the amount of salad you get I would recommend getting extra dressing. Me and my friend both wished we had just a little more. The only other thing was the chicken seemed like the cheap processed kind. All in all though the price of two salads and two lemonades was about $14.50. If you are looking for a healthy decent alternative for lunch, I would recommend giving it a shot. I will def be back. read more
