I went with a large group during happy hour on a Saturday (3-6pm). Happy hour has a tapas menu and some incredibly priced cocktails. Margaritas and sangria were both under $5 during happy hour. The server offered separate checks which was magical. We had excellent service throughout. Our server kept our orders straight, came by with tea and water refills. I was offered a ice tea to go at the end. Most people ordered 1 tapa. Several people had whole entrees. I ordered 3 tapas. (There were too many of us who got a $3 tapa and water. Sorry about that!) I had falafel. It was very tasty but a little overcooked. I would get it again, but not in the tapas size. I also had garlic-lemon chicken. That was fantastic. The chicken was well seasoned, tender, and in bite-size pieces. I also had hummus. They have plain, roasted red pepper, and jalapeño cilantro. I had plain (silky, not too salty) and the green jalapeño-cilantro. The green hummus had been recommended. I loved it. Just the right amount of kick to it and with a fresh taste. I would love to eat here again. The food was wonderful. The guava lemonade looked great. My iced tea was "tropical black tea" and it was just different enough to be noticeable. Would definitely order again. It is kind of industrial inside. It would not be a "romantic date place" but the food is great. It would be well-suited to colleagues going out to lunch. read more

Indoor and outdoor seating . They do get busy on holidays so reservations are welcomed . Service is always wonderful . This visit I went with the vegan tofu tiki masala, wood fired cauliflower with tahini , garlic potatoes & hibiscus iced tea . I would visit just for the tea concoctions alone . Please please pleaseeeeeeee open more locations ! The only con about this place is they don't take Apple Pay ! Huge fail - it's 2026 . No one wants to carry their actual card or cash . I ate here last night and was pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere. Excellent service. I dont remember the exact name of my dish, but I think it was the large fire roasted vegetable salad. Topped with salmon. Also had the roasted cauliflower side too. Both of them were awesome! Whatever sauce they put on that cauliflower plate was delicious! I'd like to start with noting that their parade let the phone are extremely helpful, Patient and polite. I ordered via door dash which is rare but the wrong delivery address was inputed and the kind folks at PJ sorted it out with me. The food was delivered on time and warm. I ordered the chicken shawarma bowl, the gyro bowl, and falafel and hummus. Overall the bowls were ok. The sauces all had too much garlic for my personal preference. Just too pungent. Restaurant was contacted about the error and they insisted it was included. Driver confirmed it wasn't as well as pictures of the spread were sent. With the size of the order why would I lie about missing rice. My only complaint with this is that the salad dressing given is not nearly enough for the entirety of the salad you're given. Again I love the portion. Highly recommend. This is one of my go-to places in Tucson (and other locations in AZ) for fresh, healthy, and DELICIOUS Mediterranean style dishes. Everything is good here, but I particularly recommend the falafel pita sandwich and the Caramelized Cauliflower with Tahini. I don't actually like cauliflower, but love Pita Jungle's... it's just fantastic. The dolmades, tzatziki, and all of the various hummus appetizers are excellent. The Lavash Shawarma Wrap is also excellent. Just wish they would open a location closer to NE Tucson (loved the Broadway location that closed dithering pandemic). Horrible experience! I went here on Mother's Day because loads of the higher end restaurants were closed on Sunday. It took our server forever, just to come take our drink order for a total of 20 minutes just to get beverages. We were waiting nearly 50 minutes for our food. It wasn't until my partner got up and just asked to cancel the order so we could leave, that our food was suddenly available. I guess it had barely came out but I feel that was a lie as my plate was cold. You guys know it's Mothers Day and should have planned for it to be busy, and scheduled accordingly. It's unbelievable how horrible and slow the service was. If you couldn't find anyone to work, then I guess the owner or manager/assistant manager should have stepped up and came in. If nobody wants to work, or always calling out, then maybe pay people more? 1/10. Do not recommend. read more

After ordering (and having really terrible luck and drivers) doordash Pita Jungle a few times we finally stopped in to try it in person. The space is open and bright - cute with holiday decor right now even. It was a slow time of day so staff were easily attentive but not hovering. The food was significantly better fresh- as is to be expected. But I also noticed dining in you actually get the side salad with your entree which never comes in delivery. I was disappointed to see a delivery driver picking up food and dining in with the food sitting there. I wish places would discourage this because while the driver is being fed the customers food is getting gross. Exactly my past experience. But the food was tasty and we will gladly eat in again. Actually, I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place earlier. I know it's a chain, but the food is really just excellent. I have a habit of judging Mediterranean restaurants on their baba ghanoush, and this place really delivers. It's difficult to make this dish without it being slimy or the wrong texture. Pita jungle adds just the right amount of garlic and the texture is fabulous. Their pitas are always fresh, which is surprisingly difficult to find in this genre of restaurant. but also, their salads are amazing, their sandwiches are delicious. I'm not a big sandwich person, but their lavash wraps are the bomb. They're very reasonably priced. And their staff are very accommodating. They will even offer you a refresh on your soft drink to go when you leave. I'm never disappointed. read more

Stopped by Pita Jungle while on the north side of town. I love that all locations display art from local artists that you can purchase. I grew up in Gilbert and loved Pita Jungle out there so I was excited to find one in Tucson. The waitress was so friendly and checked in often. I ordered the blue corn nachos with chicken. Flavors were great! The chicken was dry. My boyfriend got the lavash chicken shawarma wrap and he said the flavors were great, however the chicken was very dry. He was able to order a side of tzatziki sauce to help with the chicken. It was a bit of a bummer that they charged us for the side of tzatziki sauce, especially because it was due to their dry chicken. We also ordered the hummus trio with a side of pita chips. The pita chips were soooo good! And I always love their hummus (the red bell pepper is the best!) Overall, the flavors are what I remember from my beloved Pita Jungle. read more

We came here for dinner tonight and service was excellent. Friendly and fast. Unfortunately I was not a fan of the chicken in the Keto & Paleo Platter. It was really dry and extremely salty. First time trying this place out. They were not busy. Lots of available tables, since it was a Thursday night. But I noticed, this place has a lot of pick up's and to go orders. One person was working the floor, but she was able you handle it. Although she forgot to place our order, she admit to her fault and apologized. Even gave us a coupon for our next visit. I like the simplicity of the place. And love their food. I love Mediterranean food and I am glad there's a lot of good ones in town. The ONLY thing I didn't like about this place is, there's a stench of sewer inside. When you're eating good food and you smell it, that kinda ruin everything. Previously, we have ordered Pita Jungle to go but we decided to dine in today and invited two friends to join us last minute. My husband told the server we were going to have 2 additional people and she proceeded to go get us menus. When she (young, long hair) placed the menus on the table I offered a very friendly "thank you" She literally looked at me, didn't react or say anything back. Luckily, she wasn't our waitress because her bad attitude and unfriendliness would make this a one-star review. The food ingredients were very fresh and all of our meals were tasty! However, one of the two Curry Chicken Salads we ordered lacked the curry rice which is a pretty important ingredient when it's the curry in the dish. Our server (curly hair) was very attentive and pleasant. Good, Friendly service will make people overlook the little. We would definitely go to Pita Jungle again as long as we didn't have to deal with the rude server. Parking was convenient and adequate. read more

My review is on customer service and how disappointed I am with my interactions with Paula. I placed an order online for delivery for a work event. I asked for a 12:00pm delivery. When I noticed the delivery status wasn't moving I called the driver to find out when they are. He explained that he has been waiting at the restaurant and the order hasn't been filled yet. This is already 12:20pm, 20 minutes late. I called the restaurant and Paula was so on the defense saying that they do not deliver and that I went through a 3rd party source and I need to connect with them. I was taken back by it and asked for a manager. Manager chimed in too and said nope not my responsibility and that they have given the order to another driver. Well neither uber eats or Pita Jungle cared to own the issue. After another call back to Paula she reluctantly called Uber to let them know that a driver picked up the food. I hope to see the refund on my card, someone needs to take responsibility it was a large order. read more

I've been to Pita Jungle twice, the first time I wasn't super impressed but the most recent dinner we had a great meal. I ordered a gyro to go and two falafel balls to give them a try. The gyro was decent but the lettuce in the sandwich was wilted and turning brown on the edges. It was fine but nothing special. I wasn't a big fan of the falafel but will totally admit to being super picky about falafel. This version is heavy on the garlic and a little too dense. A few weeks later, my husband and I stopped in for dinner. We started with the garlic dip which really reminds me of Lebanese toum. It was super creamy, had a great garlic flavor, and was served with warmed thin pita bread. Definitely do not order this if on a first date unless you want to keep the vampires away. I chose their version of chicken tikka masala as my entree. It's not as traditional as the version you'd get from an Indian restaurant, but was pretty darn delicious. There was a lot of chicken, the sauce wasn't spicy (I'm a spice wimp) and I liked the addition of sprouts as a fresh veggie element. My husband ordered the philly steak pita. He absolutely loved it. The pita was stuffed full of steak and roasted veggies. The steak was nicely seasoned and very tender. Seriously, he kept saying how good it was in between bites. We didn't have enough room for dessert, but the chocolate baklawa rolls sounded interesting for next time. read more

Pita Jungle packaged the order and had it in a sealed plastic bag. The delivery person did not cut the bag, open the salad, and remove the salad dressing. They just pickedup the bag and delivered it.
