Hood ambience and vibes The service is quick and easy and staff is friendly and welcoming even they are super busy and the lines are long the cars move fast. Ordering is easy. I was eating my salad and chewed on something squishy and sour tasting. The then checked my salad and found a worm. I placed it on a napkin and it started to move after a while. I ate a worm which made me check the rest of my salad!! I'm a disgusted and still have the sour taste and squishy feeling in my mouth! I tried called Salad and Go head quarters but I get no answered. Salad and Go is a reasonably priced moderately healthy fast food option, though the quality matches that of a fast food chain. Their team is always friendly and fast which I appreciate. They are obviously known for their salads. I appreciate a drive through salad place as an addition to the fast food market. Their veggie quality and portions are good, however I'm not a fan of their dressings and sometimes their chicken can have a strange taste/consistency. I'd consider it a step up from a packaged salad, with the bonus of being able to build your own. As far as their breakfast burritos, I was enticed by the price but they just weren't good. The turkey sausage was dry and the salsa completely lacked flavor. Overall, in Tucson there are just too many other better and reasonably priced breakfast burritos. Salad and Go is a good enough quick option and you get what you pay for. I think they could benefit from some quality improvement, particularly with their meats, salsas, and dressings. read more

Such a great value! I love getting the 9.99 combo with a breakfast wrap, coffee, and salad. Although these aren't the most luxurious options around, it's a budget game changer and offers up cheap and healthy eats to take with you to work. When it's between stopping to get a quick salad (and litterally go) vs. doordashing something latter. I like the buffalo chicken and jalapeno ranch specifically. Breakfast burritos aren't the best (highly recommend getting other salsa vs their packets) but they do the job and are amazing for the price. Great location and easy to get to. Because when I asked for their name "They're not allowed to give out names or management names" I always ask for my drink with no ice and I repeat myself just incase they didn't hear. This is my new fav fast food option ever. I love ordering online and picking out all my toppings. Then you can skip the drive through line and pickup at the walk up window. The kids menu is perfect if you have kiddos. All the toppings and dressings are tastier than you expect. I loved the spice blends in the black beans and tofu. All the dressings we tried were epic: ceasar, pesto and creamy greek. Avocado was perfectly ripe. The mango iced tea and frozen lemonade were both great. Try it. It's epic. read more

I go here once a week now. I usually get two salads - one to eat then and one to eat the next day. I find their ingredients extremely fresh. The salads are large and flavorful. I recommend the BBQ ranch. That's personally my favorite. I have to say that sometimes, I would love less lettuce and more toppings, though I think their ratios are very good. The prices went up slightly the last month, but I'm not surprised with all the other inflated prices around. For $28, I get 4 meals, so I'm not complaining at all about that! I really like the concept of Salad and Go, but I won't return to this location. I was excited when this one opened, because it's convenient for me to stop here and pick up lunch on the way to work. So I ordered online for a 7:15 a.m. pickup. Traffic was heavy, and I arrived at 7:30. There was a woman already at the pickup window who stated she also ordered ahead and "they must be behind," because her pickup was also for 7:15. Then another patron showed for her 7:30 order. Meanwhile, several cars are cruising through the drive-thru with seemingly no wait. COMPLETELY defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. Finally, the first customer waiting got her salad. Mine was finally given to me at 7:53, nearly 40 MINUTES after the pickup time. I was then late for work. I have previously ordered salads with chicken, and it's a personal preference, but I feel the chilled chicken has a bit of a mealy texture, so for my protein choice, I selected avocado, and there was no avocado on the salad at all. So I wasn't pleased with that either. People order ahead so they don't have to wait in line. Staff needs to prioritize people who order ahead over the drive-thru. I could have gotten in my car, gone through the drive-thru, placed a new order, and saved myself more than 20 minutes. I like Salad and Go, but I will be going out of my way to the Speedway store, who has their stuff together. read more

So happy to have a location open up closer to my house and this location has been great! My husband and I are addicted to Salad & Go and have had no issues coming here since opening. The service is friendly and fast and I just love how affordable it is in addition to great quality for the price! Love the wraps & haven't found one type on the menu I haven't loved. I would like to update my review. Originally my order had been wrong the first time I went, specifically 3/6 however Danielle from the company reached out and wanted to make it right. For example, the caprese salad was missing mozzarella balls because they ran out and apparently, the crew was supposed to give us an option to replace. Also my boss' order which was vegetarian had chicken in it and missing avocado. But a customer service agent reached out to me so quick. The second round I went, they absolutely got it right. They had the mozzarella balls in stock. Danielle reached out to me almost immediately and had us try it again. Again, the food was always good. The salads were fresh and tasty the first round as well, the order was just incorrect. So for second round, they got it right. But I do recommend checking your order, the nice girl almost forgot 2 of my drinks. I don't blame them, they are busy! Overall we will come back. I wish they'd open some franchises in IL all over the Chicagoland to be more precise. I loved that I had a really good salad that didn't have a lot of cheese in it but the salad was good. Darn good and healthy. I had a salad with tofu in it and a salad with chicken. The portions were good sized. I had one half a salad for dinner and the rest for lunch. They also had Arnold Palmers with a cucumber fusion I didn't know if I'd like but guess what? I DID!!!! I ordered two burritos, a burrito bowl, and a black tea this morning. I gave the burritos to my office mates and I had the bowl. At the same time we all said the same thing "its cold!" Are the burritos and bowls all served cold? I can't complain about the price, especially during these times but in the future do I need to ask for the food to be heated when I order it? One of my favourite places to go. I used to eat at the food court in Costco. You know nothing special but predictable. I passed this several times and said: oh what the heck? I was pleasantly surprised. The Cobb salad was excellent. The salad was very large. No skimping here. My other favourite is the Winter Harvest. If you don't want a salad, I would recommend their chili any day. The have both chicken and tofu. Perfect for vegans and vegetarians alike. And their drinks are very inexpensive. Cold brew is a good choice. So is the tea. Only $1. My only 3 complaints: 1. There needs to be arrows on the pavement telling you the direction of flow. 2. If you go near lunch time, you can have a long wait. 3. Please consider putting a store in the Spectrum Mall area. I live in Drexel Heights and it's a 22 mile round trip. read more

This place is great! My first visit, I got the Thai Chicken Salad and 3-bean Veggie Chili. Although really good, the salad was very basic... so I recommend customizing your order. Place your order online to make it easier, it'll be ready by the time you get there. My second time, I got the Cobb Wrap and had some extra ingredients added and YUM! It's delicious. The cucumber mint lemonade is also really good, very cucumbery... although the mango green tea didn't have a whole lot of flavor. Hopefully more locations of Salad And Go will pop up around Tucson, it's a fresh, delicious and inexpensive choice amongst all of the burger joints around here! :) read more
