First time at this location. Still looks brand new. Staff were quick on ordering and delivery of food. Foods was very good and tasty. Employee came around a few times offering more ketchup napkins etc. Will be back!

Proof that I am not lying about the order.

This review is forWhataburger#598, located at 435 W. Valencia Rd. I found more than one listing for Whataburger but neither gave an address, which I am now assuming is in the vain hope that dissatisfied customers which not wish to wrongly malign the Whataburger they didn't order from, so slink away without speaking of the horrors wrought upon them by the one they did place an order with. Let's be clear: the fault is partially mine. I knew going in that I have never once met a Whataburger order that was correct. However, my son wanted a burger and he always like the IDEA of Whataburger, even though results- varied as they are- are always odd. However, this order went far and beyond odd /not quite right. They failed to provide one single item on the order as it should be and not just in the small, easily changed details. We ordered for delivery so I cannot speak to the ambience or the customer service as far as placing the order. The customer service as far as assembling the order was gross negligence bordering on insanity. I can only hope this was because they are training new employees that have never met a hamburger or deep fryer before this order came in. Three items on our order were the Avocado Bacon burger on Texas Toast. Now, they did get all that I just mentioned right. I am not trying to say they got every aspect of the build wrong, just that not one single actual item was as it should be. The #6 Avocado Bacon Burger (Texas Toast, Monterey Jack Cheese, Bacon Slices, Avocado, Grilled Jalapenos, Jalapenos, Diced Onions, Creamy Pepper) came with lettuce on it. Not a huge deal! He's not allergic to it. The #6 Avocado Bacon Burger(Texas Toast, Monterey Jack Cheese, Bacon Slices, Avocado, Grilled Jalapenos, Lettuce, Creamy Pepper) said directly on the package, in little stickers, a promise that, as requested there were no tomatoes or onions on this burger and those stickers were lies! To make matters worse,he didn't get his lettuce. Well, hopefully they sorted out that dilemma for themselves, but they shouldn't have had to! The #6 Avocado Bacon Burger (Texas Toast, Monterey Jack Cheese, Bacon Slices, Avocado, Grilled Jalapenos, Tomato, Lettuce, Grilled Onions, Creamy Pepper) - which had no option for denying cheese altogether- was accompanied by a "special instruction". Or was it "request"? Whichever way they worded it, they left that box there for a purpose and I used it to very politely request, "Please do not put any cheese on this particular burger. Thank you so much." It had cheese on it. I can't eat cheese. Nor can I get Grubhub to let me report this terrible wrong. Yes, I could have looked up the number to the store and complained. I don't want the Texas Rangers after me for grumbling in semi-public settings, though. Also, again, I shouldn't have to. They should hire people that can read and follow directions! At least one per shift! Lastly we ordered: French Fries - Large, Spicy Ketchup. I did not force them to offer ketchup. They did it all on their own. Yet, they did not make good on that offer. Also, while the French Fries did not specify in the actual space I ordered them at that they would have some degree of warmth and be cooked enough to be brown enough to tell they were cooked, it is implied by North American social convention that such will be the case wherever French Fries are offered for sale, except in the case of people specifically ordering frozen for their own purposes. To be fair, the burgers- also cool to the touch - were quite tasty. If they had been warmer or, dare I dream, actually hot, then I could have scraped the cheese off of mine. Instead, I had to take a lot of probiotics and some allergy medicine as this is all the food I have right now. I would totally recommend the burger, if you can go to a Whataburger and order it fresh, so you'll be within burger-chucking distance of the employees who made it, just in case. (A joke. Please do not assault employees of Whataburger or, indeed, anywhere or anyone else). It has a great flavor profile! I can't recommend ordering meal(s) to be delivered. Just in case!

Juicy jr double is the perfect small meal!

Whataburger needs to go nation wide, if not worldwide! Everybody needs to eat these burgers! They are huge!! They got the circumference of a personal pan pizza! And it's literally impossible not to finish one - too good to quit!! Breakfast all night long, burgers 24/7, friendly as can be employees, and you're surrounded by smiling patrons from wall to wall. I live in Minnesota but am considering relocating to somewhere with Whataburger straight up!

    Drive up!

***GET THE APPLE PIE!!!!!*** Awesome customer service The APPLE pie was soooo good!! My husband loved his burger and said it's better than in and out. He got a double no cheese, grilled onions. Fries and an iced tea. He was very VERY excited and happy. He's been trying to get me to try this place since we started on our road trip a week ago!! I got a #1 combo with a sprite... I don't share my husband's enthusiasm and wouldn't choose this over the "other guys", but he was just so dang happy and enjoyed it SOOO much that it made me happy too ;P But seriously, service really was top notch on our visit and the apple pie really REALLY is that good. Enjoy!

I came here to Whataburger in the morning around 630 to 7 AM. Whataburger is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat. I love the food I go there a little too much. But do not go in the morning and order burger and fries. I ordered burger and fries for myself, I can eat burgers anytime of the day; I love burgers, and I also ordered some breakfast food. The fries were stale and old the burger was a bit cold. This is not usual occurrence at Whataburger. No matter which Whataburger you go to in the city I've had great experiences at all of them. My advice is just; do not get burger and fries in the morning.

    My receipt.

Horrible! Do not go here. What a waist of time. 20 minutes to get my order wrong and it couldn't have been more simple. How do you screw up a plain hamburger? You don't! You do it on purpose cause your a miserable potato of a human being. If you like throwing your money away then this is the place for you.

Took 30 minutes to get our food out. Also did not put any condiments. Food is cold and not fresh. Would not recommend. Employees are rude.

In addition to the usual toppings, lettuce, red onion, tomato, and Graze sauce, I added grilled jalapeños, spicy mustard and cheddar cheese. I neglected to see ketchup on their toppings list due to order anxiety, but my burger and fries were so good, I didn't need it. The burger and toppings weren't overly juicy and the brioche bun didn't get soggy. I was really surprised how well the paper wrapping stayed intact and I didn't have to deal with any messiness. The fries were also really good. They remind me of fresh McD fries - the outside hot, crispy, and lightly salted and soft on the inside. I should have tried the seasonal shake which is peanut butter, because Graze's shakes look good and I'm a peanut butter fan. Hopefully, my next visit will be soon and I'll grab this shake then. Graze burgers are super good and am not sure why there aren't more than two locations.

Every bite is savory, fresh, and somehow still clean. How is it indulgent and light at the same time? The burger is stacked perfectly, juicy without falling apart, and those sweet pot tots? Crispy outside, soft inside, and dangerously addictive. If you want something that feels indulgent but doesn't leave you in a food coma, this is it. 10/10. Always coming back - staff is welcoming and polite , I love. ALSO they have curry ketchup! It's just a must try and if you're a sweet tooth- the chocolate milkshake is killer. Provecho!

They also have outdoor seating with heat lamps when it's cold. Their burgers are delicious and I highly recommend their garlic fries! They offer smash burger patties, so just be aware if you're looking for thicker patties. Their chocolate milkshake does not taste gritty and tastes like the real deal! I wish I had better things to say, but today's visit to Truland felt a bit underwhelming overall…read more We chose Truland since it's the closer option to Oro Valley compared to Graze. Our waiter was kind, but the service was a bit inconsistent throughout the meal. The outdoor seating is a nice option, especially on a beautiful evening, though the cushions could definitely use some refreshing and cleaning. Now, food-wise, it was a mixed experience. My husband ordered the Baja Shrimp Sandwich, which felt more like an appetizer than a full entrée. I had a salad with added salmon--it was fresh and well-prepared, and the salmon itself was cooked perfectly, but the portion of salmon was tiny and didn't feel worth the added cost. My teenager enjoyed the Early Riser burger with a side salad. The truffle fries were solid, but the side salad felt overpriced for what it was. Overall, the experience just didn't quite match the price point. I really wanted to like it more, and it's honestly surprising to me that, with the same ownership as Graze, the experience felt so different.

Time to go back and review. I like to revisit places after a few years and see what is different…read more Smoky Mo didn't disappoint. Places are successful because they stay the course and do what they do best. Today we went with the four meat platter, perfect amount for two people, brisket, pulled pork, turkey and sausage. With four side of coleslaw, mac and cheese, potato salad and cornbread. All meats are still sauced unless requested "on the side", but not so much to overwhelm the meat taste. Juicy flavorful pulled pork. Delicious smoked turkey. Brisket was just slightly dry but the sauce and nice bark made it enjoyable. The sausage was AMAZING, juicy and packed with flavor. Coleslaw in my opinion, could use a little more "wetness" but it was still delicious. What can I say about the mac and cheese and potato salad, people from the south, Texas to the Carolina's just know how to get it done. The "Texas Sweet Tea", if you are a diabetic do not drink, however this is a true southern tea, it's done the same all across the south, sugar with some tea thrown in. Four meats, four sides and two drinks with tip $50, not bad for two people, I've definitely spent more for food that didn't even come close to this. Once again Smoky Mo you did not disappoint. If you are a BBQ person this is STILL the best of Tucson. Get out and support this small local business!

I ordered a small combo plate of ribs and sliced brisket (sliced with the grain and not cross it as it should have been) and my sides were greens and coleslaw. I did not see the sign that said all of their meats were sauced, but if I saw it, I would not have had them put sauce on anything. As someone who smokes a lot of food, when I taste meat, I want to taste the meat and the seasoning and the smoke itself. The ribs and brisket were very tender, but all I could taste was the vinegar in the barbecue sauce. It completely ruins the meal for me because if I wanted to drink barbecue sauce, I would've asked them for a side of it with a straw. I did not taste the meat, I did not taste the seasoning, I did not taste the smoke. I also believe that if a pitmaster floods their product with barbecue sauce, they are hiding something. So I can't tell you anything about the meats other than everything tasted like barbecue sauce. For the side dishes, I got the coleslaw which was tasty and the greens. You can see the picture I took after I finished the greens and it looked like I had a cup of soup. I don't know why they wouldn't drain the water out of the greens. Since I was the only one in the restaurant, I was also surprised that nobody came up to me and asked me how the food was. They were all busy on their phones or talking to each other than to check with one of their paying customers if they were enjoying their food. The place itself, physically, I liked because it was a hole in the wall type atmosphere. I don't think I would've chosen contemporary hip-hop for my guests to hear. So that's it, I'm giving it two stars only because the tenderness of the meat, but definitely not because of any other flavoring I tasted. I also felt it was extremely overpriced for the portion size. I tried it, now I can write a review and know that I will never go back again.
