The inside of the shop is nothing fancy: order at the window and pick up when your name is called. There are a few 2-person tables inside by the order window and some outdoor tables. There may be some tables in the front, but I didn't make it up there. I had the full-szed Badger as it comes standard (Steak, Pepper Jack, Grilled Onion, Grilled Mushroom, Grilled Pepper, Grilled Jalapeño, Lettuce, Pickles, Chipotle Ranch, Garlic Spread) on Ciabatta bread. Even though I thought I was hungry, it was a LOT of sandwich and I could have been fine with the half. The place was empty save for two other people waiting on orders and they departed quickly upon receiving their sandwiches. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful while I decided what I wanted to order and offered some suggestions. I may be out of touch with sandwich pricing but after getting it, I was surprised. The main reason for the loss of stars was the service - you know when you walk into a place and immediately feel like the staff is annoyed to be there? That was the experience here. I considered just leaving but had already waited in line a bit and had been excited to try the food. The attitude of the cashier was really unwelcoming, she was openly annoyed to answer my question on allergy ingredients and generally not kind. I watched others behind me look surprised or apologize as they ordered. The combo of the premium pricing (for what is a good quality sandwich, they do have that positive!) with unkind service isn't something I'd be willing to come back for.

I also get a cannoli when they still have some. The food is always amazing! It is single-handedly the best bread and sandwich I've had anywhere and I get it every time I visit Tucson now that I've moved. The bread is so good that buy a large loaf and take it home with me to make sandwiches with. The people who work here are super sweet and friendly. They work quickly even when they're completely packed. I've never once had a problem with my order being incorrect or how I've been treated there. It has only ever been a positive experience. The restaurant itself is lovely. There is a good amount of seating but sometimes you do have to troll for a seat when it's really busy. The space is clean and easy to move around. The bathrooms are also clean and are kept well-stocked. The parking in the shopping center is difficult but that's because both Beyond Bread and Bookmans share the parking lot so there are just a lot of people there in general. It's consistency was ok but was bland and needed seasoning. Finally I had a can of Dr. Brown's Celray soda which lived up to it's reputation.
