    Not your typical salad ingredient!
    Lillie J.

Found this in my salad . Should have just cancelled my order when they let me know they had to make my sandwich a salad rather than a lettuce wrap. Unfortunate, I have been going to this Baggin's for years but will just make my own lettuce wraps from here on.

I have nothing but love for the Baggin's food and their service. Just about all the soups, salads, sandwiches and sides are solid and the desserts are ridiculously yummy. I would happily drown in their tomato bisque. Never, ever leave without getting some limoncello cake! The people are always so friendly and helpful. They are especially patient when dealing with online customer service or order customizations at the counter. I will drop stars, however, for the new ordering system and loyalty program. Calling in an order is no longer an option. I tried ordering one of those amazing limoncello cakes over the phone and was directed by a recording to use the app or order online with the website. There is no way to talk to a person. When I went online and ordered the cake, I made a mistake and set up delivery for the wrong day. There is no way to change the order once it is placed, except to email a "contact@" email address. Granted they did respond quickly, but it was a little nerve-wracking, as I wondered if someone would get back to me in time to make the edit. The last thing I will point out is that the loyalty program only works if you place orders online or with the app. You can't walk in and order at the counter if you want loyalty points. Seems like an oversight that doesn't actually promote loyalty. The ordering system and loyalty program are relatively new, but I think they've been around long enough to have worked out the initial kinks, but until they change a few things I'll be enjoying their food and services a little less often.

Prices here are 30-40% higher than they need to be. Sandwiches are great but they think they're in NYC with these prices.

It's not going to be the best you ever had in your life, and if you've been to Southern China, you're not going to be blown away. HOWEVER, it is the homemade taste that makes it good. It doesn't feel like any other restaurant, it feels like you are at somebody's house. Here's the thing, I came in expecting the usual Chinese food affair, but I left genuinely surprised and impressed. This restaurants specializes in Southern Chinese food, which is different from other regions. I am so happy this restaurant and its chains helps the cuisine gain exposure and adds depth to Chinese food in general. Even better, the menu is laid out in a way that it is easy to understand: gluten-free options, allergies, and spice level. The service was great. All though it isn't a "full" sit-down restaurant, everybody there seemed to know the menu well and was happy to be there. As a Cantonese person, it was nice hearing my language being spoken in the kitchen. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean and very modern. We came during early dinner time so the parking lot was near empty and easy to park. Overall, if you've never had Southern Chinese food or are looking for something more authentic than classic Chinese takeaway, definitely check out this location. The cherry on top are the big portion sizes and the price.

I've been here at least 100 times and usually get the exact same thing: a plain Jane on white with turkey, mayo, provolone, avocado, and lettuce with kettle chips as the side. I also get a cannoli when they still have some. The food is always amazing! It is single-handedly the best bread and sandwich I've had anywhere and I get it every time I visit Tucson now that I've moved. The bread is so good that buy a large loaf and take it home with me to make sandwiches with. The people who work here are super sweet and friendly. They work quickly even when they're completely packed. I've never once had a problem with my order being incorrect or how I've been treated there. It has only ever been a positive experience. The restaurant itself is lovely. There is a good amount of seating but sometimes you do have to troll for a seat when it's really busy. The space is clean and easy to move around. The bathrooms are also clean and are kept well-stocked. The parking in the shopping center is difficult but that's because both Beyond Bread and Bookmans share the parking lot so there are just a lot of people there in general. Finding a plant-based Reuben that actually hits the spot isn't easy, and this one does. Savory, comforting, and done right. Yes, it's usually busy--but that's because people know what they're doing here.
