Oh the view and the drive up are amazing, and a nice find for a drink and a bite at the top! Service was so friendly. Food was good, lots of homemade pie options

Four-stars for really top-notch service. The food? It's A-ok. We dined there for breakfast and it was your average diner type of meal. We were seated right away as it was a quiet morning. Our server, Michael was so nice and super attentive. I love the giant fireplace! It really makes the space so cozy. For breakfast we ordered the two egg breakfast with hashbrowns and toast, and the kids waffle for my daughter. Breakfast was simple, nothing out of the ordinary, but we were satisfied. They seem to be known for their pie, so maybe we'll return sometime to try one. They offer a discount for the ski lift with breakfast so we took them up on that. I don't recall what the exact discount was. But we were planning on going up anyway so it was a pleasant surprise.

A welcoming spot with hearty meals, great drinks, and a relaxed, rustic vibe. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy--just a few menu items could use a little extra flair.

Amazing cozy breakfast!! We got the egg and meat breakfast plates and everything was delicious especially the hashbrowns! They give you plenty of jelly and Dijon mustard for the toast and sausage or brats. We also got personal pies and those were amazing. You can get the pies with whipped cream or ice cream if you'd like. The atmosphere was perfect. Every seat has a view of the beautiful mountains, and the service was so nice! You also get 50% off vouchers for the ski lift just by eating here. I would definitely come back!

This is the PERFECT breakfast spot if you're staying in Summerhaven. We had a mountain view from our table and the waitress was amazing!! The food was hearty and delicious. I recommend the brat and mountain berry rhubarb pie - don't skip the pie!! It's totally worth it!! We will definitely be back. :)

Beautiful large fireplace with dining seating around it.

We took drive up to Ski Valley to get a glimpse of the white stuff and stopped by here for lunch. They accommodated our need to be seated away from lots of people. Our table had a great view. I chose the Turkey Run sandwich and subbed a side salad with ranch. My husband got the George Gorge salad and subbed a bowl of chili for his side. My sandwich was tasty and my husband enjoyed his as well. The side salad was quite small for the additional $4 charge. The chili had a little kick to it and it was good. We had our small dog with us, but they only allow service dogs inside.

Super great service, and food was awesome. I would come again!the service was great, and the food was good. They also had mimosas and this hot wine drink that my husband got. Would come back again :)

Delicious restaurant with great views! We came on a weekday, and the wait was still pretty long...but for good reason - the food is amazing! We were seated at a small table and given menus. I ordered half of George's Gorg (a turkey Reuben). After the first bite, I regretted not getting the whole sandwich. It was so good! The chili was tasty too, but the sandwich definitely stole the show. Speaking of stealing the show, we were full but still ordered dessert. We settled on a mixed fruit cobbler, which was fresh out of the oven. It was amazing & beautifully made! I highly recommend the Iron Door if you're in the area.

Great (and the only spot) right next to the Ski Valley lift station. Due to its limited seating capacity it can get pretty packed during skiing season. Luckily for us, when we were there there was not much snow and very few skiers/tourists. The ambiance has an old charm to it and they have lots of old stuff on display such as a mechanic teller. They also has a huge fireplace in the middle with dining tables surrounding it. Must be pretty cozy when the fire is lit. Food here is decent too. We ordered the "famous" hot chili soup, Claim Jumper (roast beef with Swiss cheese on French bun) , Gobbler (turkey with bean stouts and cranberry sauce, cream cheese on rye bread). I like both. Depends on if you are hungry (order Claim Jumper), or want some refreshing sandwiches that are not too heavy (order Gobbler). Service was excellent too. Mostly senior servers and they are very attentive to customers. Keep in mind they close at 4:30pm (kind only early but understandably it's on top of the Mt Lemmon)!

Classic breakfast and German eats. The personal size pies are amazing same with their breakfasts. It's in a super cozy cabin with a fireplace at the center and outdoor seating with beautiful views of the mountain. Staff is always friendly.

The restaurant looks bigger from the outside than it feels on the inside, and that's not a bad thing. The dining area is cozy, especially when they have a fire blazing in the big fireplace. There's a good selection of beer and wine, and of course on the reverse side of the table tent is the pie listing. Their pies are awesome. Be sure to save room for some pie. The chili and cornbread is very good. The topping on the cornbread involves melted brown sugar. The chili is a little spicy but fairly tame for Tucson spicy. It's very good. I had the BBQ chicken salad with an extra side of 1000 Islands dressing. It was an excellent choice and highly recommended. The service was a little off though I couldn't quite put my finger on why. The server was very nice and he was certainly attentive, but there was a slight awkwardness that made it feel a little awkward. Maybe it was the placement of the tables and he had to stand a little further away or something. Overall I enjoy this location and I look forward to going back again.

Great homemade food with mountain cabin vibes! I got the bbq chicken sandwich and it was super tender and tasty, but desperately needed salt (I never am one to add salt but had to). The crumble pie was one of the better pies I've ever had, so that's worth it! I thought their chili was a tad over salted and too much cumin for my preference. Everyone seemed to like their meal and I'd come back if we visited Tucson again!

The food is delicious here and there is something for everyone. We all enjoyed our meals. The view from our table was so nice! Our waiter was very attentive so the service was exceptional. Breakfast is only served on the weekend so get here early if you want to try any specials, as they are a limited quantity.

Bear in mind that Catalina Mountain sits in a national park and requires a parking pass for all the trailheads. We always get the annual national parks pass ($80) for our Saguaro Natl Monument and Sabino Canyon visits. The pass is good at many national parks across the country including our own Grand Canyon. Side note - the pass is not required if you're only going to Summer Haven and visiting the shops/restaurants. After our run-hike we headed up to Summer Haven and stopped at the Sawmill Restaurant for a bite and potty break. The venue resembles a (large) standard diner with about 20+ oak-ish tables and booths inside and another 10 metal tables outside on their two patios. While the restaurant was only 1/4 full at 1:30p the parking lot was 90+% full. We weren't famished so we decided to split their Sawmill smash burger ($15) and their interesting, flame grilled blue oyster mushrooms ($19). Sides, such as fries are all extra and we decided not to get any this time. Fountain drinks are bottomless and can be self-filled or (as in our case) waitstaff thoughtfully insisted on doing refills for us. Both entrees arrived in about 10-12 minutes and were quite good. The lone critique was how small each portion was but I understand how costly it must be to haul all ingredients and employees up/down Mt. Lemmon which leaves only two options - smaller portions or higher costs. On this unbusy Monday afternoon staff was friendly and attentive and tables and bathrooms were all clean. One small note: dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant but are welcome outside (signs are clearly posted and, as we left, one inbound couple with dog was politely asked to go out to the patio).

The staff is patient, calm, and still impressively quick, even during busy times. The restaurant has a very chill vibe with standard tables and chairs, plus a quieter side area with bar seating but I must note that it's just for sitting, since there's no bartender. I always order the sizzling garlic ramen because it's packed with flavor. When I want extra protein, I add tofu or chicken. And if a place has crab puffs on the menu, I'm getting them. I also recommend pairing everything with their iced lemon honey drink, which is super refreshing. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Noodleholics for some amazing food.

We arrived around 2:15 and staff was making it super clear to everyone that they closed at 3 so we needed to be out by then. Mentioning this not as a complaint at all because these folks work hard and closing time is closing time so I can respect that, but if you happen to arrive here less than an hour before closing time, your only options will be take away or eating outside at one of their tables. The Guilin Spicy & Sour was super hearty and the leftovers the following day were absolutely delicious. I really enjoy spicy dishes but in order to really appreciate all the flavors of the ingredients, I'd try the regular Guilin next time or see if the heat could be dialed back just a bit. Overall an 8/10. The Taiwan beef was a big hit too. That beef was so soft, it would just melt in my mouth. The veggies were cooked but still crisp, and those noodles were perfection; thick, not mushy at all, super tasty. And the next day it was even better! Mon-Thurs there's also a $1 drink (only certain drinks ) with any entrée special so we got a chance to taste the honey lemonade (tastes exactly like it sounds) and the iced milk latte (a bit too sweet but good).
