In a gated community on the outskirts of Oracle AZ. Views of a golf course and man-made pond. Thankfully, no geese. Considering the toniness of the resort, prices very reasonable. Stopped in w my best friend, Wingman Smothers. We split a dozen, bbq sauced, w ranch. They were meaty and juicy. Thankfully. WS did not get sauce on his shirt! BUT, he ended up w brownish whiskers and sauce on the tip of his nose. In fairness, so did I. Also, we got a total of 13 pieces! 5 drummie stars

We didn't golf today but we did enjoy the views, the weather, the food and drinks! We sat outside and could watch players at the 9th hole while we sipped on our cocktails. Ryan was our server and was extremely pleasant! I had the lemon strawberry drink, my sister had the prickly pear margarita, my brother had the spicy margarita. For dinner we ordered a burger with onion rings and the arugula pizza with Italian sausage and chicken. Chefs kiss on both! We love that the prices are so reasonable and the ambiance and service were excellent!

Very good place for lunch. On the golf course in a gated community, there is not a lot of dining choices. We really enjoyed our lunch. The burgers were very good with a side of sweet potato fries. The sushi was also very tasty. I enjoyed a beer that was brewed right on the premises.

Great stop for a bite or drink! Close to Biosphere 2. The appetizers are really hardy and the food was solid. Good drinks. Beautiful view of golf course, fountain and mountains. Nice bar. Would recommend.

Lunch with a beautiful view!

Everyone behind the bar is really knowledgeable and there are always fun events happening every week. Their beers are all brewed in the traditional styles. You'll find a great Pilsner, German-inspired brews like Berliner Weisses, a Scotch Ale and various styles of IPAs, among many others. This place is no frills. They won't make a blueberry pie beer or put fried chicken or other weird stuff in what they brew. You're going to find something here you like if you're a beer drinker and even their lightest beers have a ton more flavor than any macrobrew you see in commercials. The owners are really nice, cool people and they run a family business in every sense of the term. Todd, the one who ad the idea to open this place, is also the head brewer and you can tell how passionate he is about what he does. This brewery was a labor of love and it shows.

We found it and there were about 10 people inside. It's not a big place. Feels like your typical neighborhood bar. Decent selection of beer; I had their Amber, which was good. The bartender was Johnny and he was a friendly guy. I also had one of their soft pretzels. There's a few signs about "no politics or religion", but in the 30 minutes we were there I overheard discussions as to everyone's political beliefs. No one was cranky or anything, which is good. Johnny told us about upcoming events. Pleasant overall; we paid cash to avoid the surcharge.

The location is great - a strip mall with plenty of parking and surrounded by restaurants, and you are invited to carry-in food. The decor is nothing special, if you look up you see all the plumbing and ductwork. We arrived at 5:45 and got the last table in the house. Best to come early or late, as it seemed to clear out a bit at 7:15PM when we left. Our table was way in the back, but we were glad to be back there as the music wasn't quite so loud. Speaking of music the band was truly exceptional. We enjoyed every minute of the live entertainment. We were looking for something to nosh on - there was a food truck out back serving burgers, but we went for the large charcuterie tray which was perfect for the 4 of us (see photo). The beer and wine menu is not huge - there is basically one "on tap" for every kind of style, and there are big fridges if you want to buy a bottle or can. We all found something to enjoy. We have added this place to our list to take visitors, it makes for a very enjoyable evening and I highly recommend it.

I love that it's near the theater and has a beautiful view of the Catalina mountains. This local watering hole is in a quiet pretty plaza in between other eateries. Lots of options. I enjoyed trying their Fall menu! 10/10 on the Sonoran Spice, a pretty looking drink with a fine taste of Autumn. Looking forward to the next visit!

Cool little place tucked away from the hustle and bustle that is Tucson traffic. I stumbled upon…read morethis Catalina Brewing Company looking for something fun to do with our kids. Wondering why a brewery with kids? Well, half of this place is a giant game room filled with old and new pinball machines, a pool table, a couple video games, foosball, a boxing game and shuffleboard. I met Jim, the awesome bartender on duty, who told me some really net stuff about the place and gave me a limited tour of the brewing room. I tried the CDO Blonde beer, which is fitting for this blonde CDO grad. I thought it was really good. Jim explained that they don't add sugar to their brewing process, and instead their natural flavor options serve as the sugars in brewing. Things like fruits, flowers and nuts take the place of added sugar. The pinball machines are very fun, but I have to say the boxing machine was the highlight for the teenage boys in our group. Seeing who hit hardest was all the rage. Catalina Brewing Company takes their beer on the run, or should I say mountain biking trails, to serve to people at events, which sounds fun. There some neat history in this place. I hear they have trivia nights as well. They are family friendly, serving sodas as well. They make cocktails with wine converted to various types of "liquor ". Overall I thought this was a great place I'd go back to in a heartbeat. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, and parking. It was clean and best of all, cool in the summertime. Check out the walls when you're there, including the bathroom walls, for funny memorabilia.

I came here with my husband and son on a Friday night. Not too busy and they don't serve food but have a rotating food truck out in their parking lot. You'll see the sign for the taproom from the road and turn in. Continue all the way down past the shipping docks and you'll see the sign once you make a left. Decent amount of parking available. They sell more beers than what you see of theirs in the stores. They also have rotating guest beers. Pours are offered in 4oz and 10oz, which is nice if you don't want to drink too much or are trying to pace yourself/taste different beers. They also sell various merchandise, likes hats, shirts, etc. One thing I'm starting to add in my reviews is if there is a changing table now that I have a baby. They have a changing table in the large stall in the women's bathroom; not sure about men's bathroom and they do not have a family restroom.

I asked the beertender if I could sample a couple of their wheat beers, and they were more than happy to help. I ended up going with their American Wheat (super refreshing, crisp, and easy to drink). My friend opted for the Pilsner, which was just as solid and well-balanced. The only downside is that they don't serve the beer in proper glassware (everything comes in plastic cups), which takes away a bit from the overall experience. That said, the atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, and the beer is delicious. Definitely a spot worth checking out
