The burrito had bacon, eggs, potatoes, cheese and I add chorizo to my burros lol. The burrito seemed to have made an improvement. It was portioned correctly, still large but rolled perfectly. Before they used to be bulgy. The chorizo used to be super spicy, this time is more mild. After this burro I'll be back for breakfast again. The place never changed inside and out. Still a little Mexican restaurant in a small town. Service still nice, you'll see the same faces when you order there.

The eggs were done perfectly, the beans tasty and the ranchero sauce alright, but not outstanding. A good dollop of salsa spiced up the sauce. The service was good and the coffee cup kept full. The tortilla was hot and tasty. They continue to do a great take out business and clearly they are one the locals favorite destinations. I debated giving a fourth star but held off once again. We will return and see about a fourth since they are clearly at least a 3 1/2.

Used to have waitresses take your order, then they changed it to where you placed your order at the front and now it's back to waitresses taking your order. They were out of french fries when we were there. We did have a waitress that seemed to forget us. Took about 10 minutes for someone to finally come over and take our drink order and then the waitress forgot one of our sodas and we had to get up and find her to ask about it. It was only 2 of us so it wasn't like it was a big drink order. The place was fairly empty when we first got there so not sure why it was so hard to get waited on it first.

A warm greeting up entering, always a plus. It wasn't all that busy for a Saturday afternoon, I'm thinking we missed the lunch rush and the pregame final four rush. Perfect timing. We started with the Pulled pork/mac and cheese balls. Delicious pulled pork mixed with Mac and cheese rolled in cribs and deep fried to a golden brown served on top of cheese sauce and green onion garnish. What a special treat perfect opening appetizer. My son and I both had the three meat plate with pulled pork, brisket and beef sausage. It was served with an outstanding tangy coleslaw, a pretty darn good piece of cornbread and I had the baked beans which were perfectly sweet although very slightly dry. The pulled pork was flavorful, juicy and melted in your mouth. Paired with the tangy bbq sauce it was a treat that was hard to beat. The beef sausage, most people would have said was burnt, but let me tell you, that is how the ends of sausage should be. Great beefy flavor, well seasoned. The beef brisket had ONE good quality, it was juicy, after that is where it went completely down hill. ZERO flavor, none, it was extremely thin, almost 50/50 meat to fat cap ratio. No smoke flavor, no seasoning, nothing. Almost like it was boiled to tenderness. This is where this review went from 5 stars to 4. Brisket is meant to be heavily seasoned and put in the smoker. All in all Fork and Fire still puts out great food although be prepared to pay. Over $100 for lunch for 2 with tip. But with beef what it is today it's getting harder and harder to find good deals. A- Happy eating

Tonight is a great review of Mi Tierra Mexican Restaurant. Carolina, the owner is always so welcoming and friendly. Tonight our server was Diego. He defines great service. He was not overboard with anything; however, anything we asked for came quickly and with a smile. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were wonderful; although, for my taste a little salty. My husband had the ground beef burrito served smothered with red sauce. He said "Now this is what a burrito should taste like". The chips and salsas were plentiful and speaking of salsa they have brought it up a couple of notches. I mentioned this to Carolina and her comment was "do you remember our other salsa " I responded "yes, like ketchup". Her response was "yep, you remember the other salsa". This was Tuesday, April 28th and they were packed. No music except for the Mexican music on the speakers. Personally, I don't enjoy Craig who plays here a lot; although, perhaps many do.
