Came out to Oracle to visit friends and family and had an interesting experience at this restaurant, my friend had a service dog with paperwork and all of the credentials and they refused us all service... we explained that they were breaking the law since she had paperwork but, at the end decided to take our business elsewhere... very sad when people aren't responsible and respectful of those with disabilities and people still have to struggle and fight for basic rights and accommodations... Second visit was as good as the first. Sandwiches were delicious. Bread is amazing! Calzone was a full meal and then some. I only ordered a small. They were doing a good business with to-go orders. Think a lot of it had to do with the Cody Fire response. Service was excellent! Serving size on the large side. We enjoyed everything we had. We will be back when we are in the area. Stopped here on the way home from picking up my kid from a nearby summer camp. We were the only ones there throughout our meal and only a couple of pick-up orders. Apparently, this place is run by a husband and wife team with their two sons. The pizza was appalling and probably one of the worst that we've had - nothing seemed fresh, and all the ingredients came-off as frozen. What made matters worse is that my kid (10 years old) brought in their water bottle from camp to have some water. The staff would not let her bring it in because they said, "no outside drinks" and that there could be alcohol in it. And we had to get water from them. Literally blew my mind. This was compounded by the fact that only the husband/owner (came later as we were leaving) is the only one there that can speak a degree of English. We LOVE De Marcos. The bread for the sandwiches and the rolls are drive 25 minutes to get there worthy. I love the buffalo chicken salad as well. I ordered a large half ground beef and half pepperoni pizza It comes with a fair amount of cheese, which is always great. I also got the large Caesar salad, pizza and salad total was $29. This location has been around 20 years sitting on the shoulders of the Santa Catalina mountains within the tiny town of Oracle, Arizona. It is so refreshing to have a craft pizzeria out in this small town which is a distance from anything around, if you want pizza keep this place in mind. Sweeping views of the falcon divide to your north, pine trees out the other windows with the rolling hills of the mountains behind them. Ordered a pizza, cheese sticks and poppers. The pizza was ok but the cheese sticks were gross as well as the jalapeño poppers. I honestly feel that businesses should sample the they are selling. The cheese sticks tasted nothing like a cheese stick .. very weird breading or whatever it was and the poopers were bitter and went straight to the garbage with the cheese sticks. I like to support local but this food really wasn't edible. The pizza required to be further cooked as the dough seemed soggy and half cooked. read more

On our way through Oracle, we made a stop at Demarcos Pizzeria. There were 10 of us and they accommodated us with a large table. From the minute we walked in, the staff was courteous and the establishment was very cozy. We sat at a large table and were promptly served. Some of the people I was with ordered pizzas to share, another ordered a cheeseburger, and others salads and sandwiches. The food came out within a reasonable timeframe and it was delicious. For the first time that night at the table, there was quite a bit of silence as people enjoyed their food. Our emails were served with homemade rolls which were delicious, the salads were a great size, and the pizza... One pizza we ordered was a pineapple ham and the other was a white pizza. The white pizza had cheese and a crust that had olive oil and garlic. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. I would absolutely recommend Demarcos if you are in a Oracle. This is probably the closest to East Coast Pizza you're getting outside of Tucson proper. He was taught in Philadelphia and it shows his pizza is way way above good; makes his own homemade dough. This place is touted as an italian food restaurant. The italian is ok. Thier pizza is better. What really shines is thier sandwiches. Home made bread makes these creative concoctions stand out. There are many variations of sandwiches from hot to cold. The service is slow but very friendly. I wish this place was local to me as I'd swing by here for so many things. I really enjoyed the strombolli - a giant pizza dough filled sandwich with sauce, ham, salami and pepperoni. Was craving pizza on a Sunday evening and, being in Oracle, wasn't expecting to find much available. Was very happy to see DeMarco's was open. Got a pizza to go and had a nice glass of chianti while I waited. Talked to the family, aka the staff, while I waited. Very friendly and helpful. Got my pizza, said thank you, and left. We stopped here after a trip to the Biosphere for a late lunch. There was one other group in the restaurant besides us. The service was prompt and the atmosphere was decent. The food took a little bit, but it may have seemed that way because we were so hungry. The "small" calzones were huge. They come medium and large. Glad I didn't order a bigger one. My family and I stopped in to DeMarco's for 2 Large pizzas, 1 alfredo and a side salad this past Saturday. The salad was pretty sub par, alfredo was average and pizza was good. The biggest concern is that there is one waitress for the entire place. Took 25 min just to get our waters and 1 hour to get our food, she seemed to be helping in the back also, and ringing people up as needed. The service was unacceptable. read more

We went to DeMarco's on a visit to Biosphere2. It wasn't too bad for small town pizza. It wouldn't get 4 stars in a foodie city, but in Oracle? I'm in. I had Anchovies and Jalapeños and my wife had a Hawaiian, both were good, we both would have preferred a thinner crust. With 2 small pizzas we had lunch the next day as well. They have an extensive Italian menu as well as the pizza that looks worthy of exploration. No interesting beer, so that's kind of sad and could be a factor if you are into beer at all. read more
