This trip I got my old favorite, Machaca Chimichanga (which you can't get that's worth anything in TX or MT). The tortilla was crispy and almost melted in my mouth without any signs of oil. Yum! Their beans are always excellent, made the old-fashioned way, creamy. Fit my drink, I opted for Modelo Negro, which complimented my chimi perfectly and followed the meal with an order of sopapillas with cinnamon & sugar and honey. ¡Perfecto!

I seated myself at one of the tables. Bathrooms were located outside around the building. The lady who took my order served my tacos and I was surprised how big the tacos were. They were double the size of a standard taco shell and they were overfilled with ingredients. The ground beef were ample and the lettuce and cheese were overflowing. The lady gave me two squeeze bottles, one with red salsa and one with green salsa. I tried them both with each taco and they were delicious. When I finished devouring the tacos, what was left on the plate equaled a taco salad. There was nothing left on the plate after I was done! The last thing I did was go over to the lady who took my order and served me was tip her. Now I understood why the tacos cost what they charged. They were well worth it!

Also a small portion but then again I didn't get it without the whipped cream or powdered sugar. Wifey thinks she wants to go back and try some curry wurst. I'm not so sure. They also had other things on the menu like split pea soup with sausage, rouladen, and others. We lived many years in the Saarland and traveled extensively through the Black Forest, the Eiffel and everywhere else as it's all so close. Berlin, too, after the wall came down.
