Easily one of the best breweries in Tucson. The quality of the beers here is always outstanding and the customer service is great. Everyone behind the bar is really knowledgeable and there are always fun events happening every week. Their beers are all brewed in the traditional styles. You'll find a great Pilsner, German-inspired brews like Berliner Weisses, a Scotch Ale and various styles of IPAs, among many others. This place is no frills. They won't make a blueberry pie beer or put fried chicken or other weird stuff in what they brew. You're going to find something here you like if you're a beer drinker and even their lightest beers have a ton more flavor than any macrobrew you see in commercials. The owners are really nice, cool people and they run a family business in every sense of the term. Todd, the one who ad the idea to open this place, is also the head brewer and you can tell how passionate he is about what he does. This brewery was a labor of love and it shows. read more

Stopped in here as we were in the mood to just check out some craft brewery places that we hadn't visited in the Tucson area. This location is a bit off the beaten path off Ina near I-10. We found it and there were about 10 people inside. It's not a big place. Feels like your typical neighborhood bar. Decent selection of beer; I had their Amber, which was good. The bartender was Johnny and he was a friendly guy. I also had one of their soft pretzels. There's a few signs about "no politics or religion", but in the 30 minutes we were there I overheard discussions as to everyone's political beliefs. No one was cranky or anything, which is good. Johnny told us about upcoming events. Pleasant overall; we paid cash to avoid the surcharge. read more

Welcoming staff, great beer. We had a sampler, and really enjoyed them all. No food but some fun snacks . Be sure to try the local pistachios, we had the mesquite which were delicious. Bought some to take with also! Small casual place. They have an attached beer garden, but we didn't try to get our flight board out there. Catalina is close by, we popped in there too but preferred the beer here. read more

An amazing little brewery. Family owned and fun. The beer is delicious and unique. The owners are working behind the bar and are all smiles and offer great advice. A wonderful addition to the Arizona and more importantly the Tucson craft beer scene. I would definitely stop here anytime I am in the area. read more

I stopped by this place on my drive back from Phoenix. It was one of the last breweries I hadn't visited yet in Tucson and only because they do not allow dogs inside or on the patio. That means I can only stop by in cooler weather. Yesterday was such a day, with temperatures only in the 50s. I parked under the shade of a palo verde. It was 3:30pm and there were a good ten people on the patio. I've had their wheat beer before and it is quite good, but I wanted to sample other varieties now that I was at the taphouse. I picked the fruity strawberry wheat and sat outside on the patio. Even in the sun, it was chilly, and there were no heaters on the patio. The owners have a passion for beer and their enthusiasm shows. They answered all my questions as I looked around, but I could tell that they also take this covid pandemic and the restrictions very seriously. Only 25% occupancy is allowed inside. Only one person at a time can go inside and order, then take the beer on the patio. I was chilled and would have preferred being inside, but since the dogs were in the car I sat outside. I was not very comfortable in the chill. The inside is very cozy, too. I'm not so sure why the owners are so anti dog. This really forces me to take a star away. Not having heaters on the patio is also not good. read more

Starting to love local breweries. Stopped here when we visited Catalina brewing since they're next to each other. They have a beautiful new patio, where live music plays ( probably on weekends!) I had a great deep amber, check it out! read more

Good beer, rotating food trucks, a variety of events/performers, and a friendly vibe. Button is on the Northwest side of town just around the corner from Catalina Brewing if you're interested in a double-header. Button has indoor seating, as well as a patio covered with a canopy. Food trucks set up across from the patio. Performers typically are on the patio. While trains on the nearby tracks may be heard on the patio, there's not a trace of them indoors. On to the beer! The Tucson Traveler (year-round) is a light, smooth blonde ale. I personally like this one with the Sea Salt Caramel [Popped] Artisan Popcorn that's available for purchase. Next is the Button Amber (year-round), a fuller yet still smooth ale. This pairs nicely with the Rosemary [Popped], a slice of pizza, or another savory of your choice. Finally, the Chiltepin Red (year-round) brings heat and ale together. It smells like hot pepper, and sipping will warm the back of your throat. Pair this with Sweet Chile Lime [Popped] or your favorite tacos. Thank you for offering Cheers to Charity for the Tucson Wildlife Center. We hope Nutmaste will be available when we come back for the next one. read more

I was very happy to discover this brewery during a Yelp event for a food truck in their lot. The inside is comfortable enough for a few dozen people and they have large space for outdoor seating with shade and heaters. I tried the Button IPA and really liked the crisp, hoppy flavor. It looks like they also have cool events through the week, including trivia, drag queen bingo, and live music. If there aren't any food trucks, you can also order pizza from nearby Monsoon through the bar staff. Will definitely be coming back to try their other beer selections. read more

Friendly staff, great beers. No food at this place but you can bring in food. They have an outdoor seating area that looks like there can be live music. We went early afternoon on a Sunday. They also have games inside. I enjoyed the music playlist that was outside. I would come here again! read more

My friend and I stopped in here after kitty yoga at Catalina brewing company. I called ahead to make sure I could bring in outside food, which you can. They have food trucks on some days too. We arrived around 1 on a Saturday and it was very quiet. My friend got a flight and I tried their IPA and Pilsner. The IPA wasn't inspiring but the Pilsner was delicious. Todd was very accommodating in answering our questions and being attentive. None of the beers in her flight left an impression on me. Not to say they're bad, just not memorable in a sea of breweries in Tucson. I do like their camaraderies with other local breweries like the fun run to Catalina or bike ride to 1912. They seem to always be thinking of fun events to do. I didn't like their unfriendliness towards dogs. Dogs are not allowed, not even on the patio. They said it was because of the dander and cross contamination for the beer (which is in another room) and the fees and hoops needed to have a dog friendly patio. Tucson is an extremely dog friendly place and to have a perfect patio not be dog friendly was a bummer. Overall not a bad experience! Just a bit underwhelmed. read more

We were looking for a place to host our rehearsal dinner. We wanted something that fit our personality and Button Brew House more than fit that bill! While their 3rd anniversary T-shirt says, "@&$! Covid," they let it ruin the customer experience. You walk in to a table blocking the entrance to seating, and people sitting at the bar look like royalty as you stand behind the table like a pauper, or maybe a leper, waiting to be recognized. And there can't be five people inside the door so you get asked to wait outside. Meanwhile, the place around the corner has all kinds of people inside and a band cranking out the music. Which environment do you prefer? Other than that, the All Souls Stout was good. read more

Ten barrel Brewhouse that makes solid beer all around. The place has a cool vibe and well thought out. They display what appears to be local art and have sound dampening tiles to make the place pleasant to sit and drink pint. I drank about six samples of their beer and they were all well done. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners. They love beer. If you're looking for a good beer roster across the board in Tucson check this place out. read more

We are fans of IPA's and had the Tropical and Button IPA both were exceptional. Our friend had their stout and loved it as well. I sampled the Pumpkin Pie ale and it was like eating the pie itself, love seasonal beers and took home a crowler. Thank you for the great beer and great atmosphere to catch-up with friends read more

Cozy microbrewery and one of the few that take take the time to create a respectable lager. Lagers take longer to brew but so worth the wait. Most microbrews don't make the effort and care to turn out a larger. Volstad Pilsner and Brother's Joy are so tasty and rival some favorite commercial ones in taste/ quality. You can enjoy your beer on the patio (as long as the weekend food truck generator isn't too loud). They also participate and host fun weekend activities. read more

Button is around the corner from my house so I may be slightly partial to here. However, there are two things I love about Button: 1. The relaxed atmosphere 2. The Chiltepin beer! It's chili flavored beer and I've never had anything like it anywhere else. It's spicy and sort of like a meal! They also have food trucks outside that are rotating. We once had a ramen burger! Yea ramen in the shape of a burger. read more

The beer is fantastic. Unfortunately, they hired the bartender from Public who has a really shitty attitude. The absolute worst person to put in a hospitality position. So yeah, get the beer. Just don't get it from the source. I recommend going to Arizona Beer House or Tucson Hop Shop. They have great customer service Re: business response - You hired someone with a history of providing bad service with a bad attitude. She did it at Public and she was still a nasty person when I was at Button. So I will hold against you the fact that you hired, and continue to employ, a shitty person to be the customer face of your business. read more

Wow really great Tucson find!! Amazing "mom and pop's" brewery. The beers are great: I love the chiltepin red ale and they do blends with it Incase you don't want too much spice in on e drink. Then I got the raspberry gose that was soooo delicious! It was bright and delightful and not too sour! The owners are as sweet as can be and ok a plus note the owner is a avid Seahawks fan!! read more

Great local craft brewery on the Northwest side of Metro Tucson. They have a great craft beer selection with permanent brews and a good selection of rotating brews. Seems the launch a new beer every 2-4 weeks. Haven't had a beer yet that I didn't like. Comfortable indoor seating (bar top and tables) was well as a semi covered outdoor seating area. They have a rotating food truck schedule so it's not always the same eats each time. Great overall atmosphere, great beers, fun and friendly staff and patrons. Very clean especially for a brew house. read more

This was my first time at Button Brew House. This is a different experience than a lot of other places in town. It's not a restaurant, but they don't mind if you bring in your own food. They don't do cocktails. They really do one thing, they make great beer. I was able to talk to Christa about the different brrrs on tap. She is incredibly knowledge, helps you decide, plus she has great taste in the music she was playing. Can't wait for the weather to cool down and sit on their patio. read more

The Button's have quite the brewery here! If it's your first time here, make sure you do the full 12 tasting flight because each beer is meticulously crafted and needs to be tried. My top pics are the Marzen, NE IPA, and the Berliner Weisse with raspberry syrup (just try it, trust me). There's a nice little bar and tables inside as well as covered seating outside. They have snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and even root beer on tap for those not partaking. I highly recommend this brewery that obviously has a truly passionate beer lover behind it! read more

Such an amazing local brewery! The beers are all top notch- I have yet to try anything I didnt enjoy. They cycle out their taps and feature guest breweries from time to time. It's a truly hospitable and friendly environment, the owners are awesome and always around to chat with. Although my Wife & I were the only patrons in this venue for a long time, we got the skinny on the place from the Beer-Tendress on duty. Although seeming to be a red headed step child of the Catalina Brewery, we were told it is separate and distinct and the offerings show it. More body and fuller flavor to the brews. Definatly a place to revisit in the future! read more
