There's a whole back area you wouldn't even know exists unless you wander, complete with its own seating and energy. Turns out they host yoga back there, plus a rotating lineup of events that actually feel community-driven instead of forced. Then there's the food situation. A Thai street food truck parked on site serving absolute flavor bombs. I had a curry tofu Thai taco--something I've never seen, let alone eaten--and it brought legit spice and depth. One of those "wait, why is this so good?" moments. Inside, the details keep stacking. A vending machine filled with mini purses, bath salts, and handmade artisan goods? Unhinged (affectionately). Swag everywhere. Walls that give you something new to look at every few seconds. This is such a cozy brewery. We stopped by with large group on Saturday after a nearby game and it was packed. There was only one bartender when we arrived but they had some backup help a while after. The inside was clean and just good vibes. They have a great selection of beers; the Imperial stout ("Girl beer"?) had a bit of kick to it and the Cream Ale was really good. This is a cool place. We went for the Thai food truck out back because we had their food at the restaurant downtown before it closed. The patio here is a decent size and has tables for dining as well as tables around gas fires. It was busy on a Saturday night. You can also order pizza from Anello next door and eat it at Crooked Tooth. I love that they have NA drinks. The rose lemon cider is refreshing and a pretty presentation. The large ice cube has rose petals and lemon slices in it. The mesquite hot cacao is verrry tasty as well. The service wasn't great. The guy taking our order was texting while we were ordering and didn't want to take cash so we had to use a card. They have lots of events going on every month. So impressed with the non-alcoholic options at Crooked Tooth! This witch has always been curious about their full moon brew, but I don't drink alcohol. Decided to check it out today, expecting to have the same old Athletic NA Beer (which is good, and they do have!) but was pleasantly surprised to see the "apothecary" options. They offer a couple of different "potions" - I tried the pear vanilla and not only was it tasty, but it was really pretty! I still got to participate in the witchy vibes and I loved it! Stopped in here for a couple beers while visiting Tucson for the first time. The staff were a couple of sweet young ladies. They were plenty friendly. Ever since hearing about Crooked Tooth's new non-alcoholic potion options, I've been wanting to make it back in here. I've visited before, mostly to support a friend of mine who was playing music there from time to time. So I already knew that their charcuterie boards were amazing and that everything on them is so good I tend to not have leftovers even when it's only me! During this visit, I tried the potion with rose petals on top (I can't remember the exact name). It had just the right blend of tart from the apple cider vinegar as well as a sweetness mixed in. The staff here is outstanding and they've always been super-patient with me while I ask my questions about what ingredients are in each potion, as well as inquiring about the items on the charcuterie boards. What I really love about this place is the beautiful patio out back! It's just lovely. This most recent visit found me on a cooler evening, watching the clouds drift by above me while waiting for food from the special food truck pop-up that night. I'm very excited to return for one of their fun events that I'm hearing about on a regular basis. Creative local brewery with a good selection of Mexican-inspired craft beers. I'm a fan of their lager, and I truly believe they've got some underrated IPAs. However, their sours might steal the show. Saladito sour? Not for me, but it's a huge hit during warmer weather. For now they've got a Tamarindo sour that compares to no other! It's a real artsy sort of hipster environment. One time, I saw people burning sage on the back patio. Other times, I've seen live music. Every time, I'm glad that I visited. Atmosphere? Good. This place attracts high ratings from locals and visitors alike, so I had expectations. Sadly, they were not quite fulfilled. Weak beer. I tried the I'm Not Bitter (ESB) and the 18th Hour (Hazy IPA). Beer preferences vary widely but I found neither to my liking, particularly the hazy. Ambiance is not great. Bar is small and not particularly sittable, more so if you're stuck with one of the hard, backless stools. Patio looks good and I imagine the seats by the garage doors will be nice when the doors are open. Music was a little loud but not outrageously so. I'm one of those pubgoers who think pubs are chiefly places of conversation. Music should be background. Service was a decidedly unenthusiastic affair. I noticed a few other patrons seemed to think so as well. Hate the little plastic taster cups. Why not use glass? The beer is decent and they have good snack options with a pizza place that delivers next door. It is a bummer they don't have any gluten free options, but that's expected at a brewery! There are a few things in life that matter, and a pint of cold beer is one of them. I visited Crooked Tooth Brewing Company yesterday (17 Sept 2024). The atmosphere was nice--definitely a place with potential. After waiting a bit to place my order, I asked the bartender what the house special was. He pointed to a list on the wall and simply said, "...this is what we make here." I went with a tart IPA from the menu. Here's where things got interesting. I asked for a pint. The bartender replied, "Oh no, we don't sell pints of that. 10 oz is the best I can do!" Confused, I pointed to a guy at the bar with a pint of cold beer and asked, "What about him?" The bartender explained, "Oh, he brought his pint glass from last year!" I'm not sure what planet these guys are from, but if you're running a brewery and can't even pour a pint of your own beer, you're missing the mark. The atmosphere may be good, but the experience? Less so. I left feeling like the focus was more on quirky rules than on serving a proper brew. Would I return? Only if I can bring my own pint glass, apparently. read more

We tried the Strawberry Moon, Strawberry + Basil Sour and would definitely order it again. If you're looking for an NA option they have many Tepache flavors! For food, you can order a Charcuterie Board that they make in house at the bar or Anello Pizza from across the street. Their indoor space is quite large and they have a patio that is also full of plenty of seating. What's not to like about crooked tooth brewing? What started out a little flat ended up being a great stay. Five stars certainly would have been earned here, but the young man behind the counter ignored my wife & I (and a third customer behind us) while he continued chatting up a couple of ladies at the bar. We don't need immediate attention by any means, but a greeting along the lines of "welcome, I'll be right with you" would have done wonders. But we patiently waited for what seemed like a minute or two and he finally acknowledged our presence. (For context, other than the three of us waiting in line there was only three other patrons in the entire establishment.) After that rough start, it was all smooth sailing from there. The place has a great vibe, wasn't busy at all, had a great selection of beer and lots of seating options inside and out. The outdoor patio in particular was very inviting, but we opted for the front seats near the large rollup doors. Certainly will give this fabulous spot another try particularly because of the incredible pizza served next-door from Anello! With a little help from a more attentive bartender, this place will easily earn five stars. read more

Walked in with a coworker. Stood at the front of the line. Person behind us walked in, said "heeey girrrlll" to the bartender. Got served immediately. Someone else joined her and also got served immediately. Bartender then checked everyone sitting at the bar to make sure they were good. Then finally, 15 minutes after entering, served us. I got a ten ounce pour and sat at the bar. Guy next to me ordered a pizza and finished his beer. Bartender came by and got him another beer. Guy got a notification his pizza next door was ready. He went and got it. He brought it back. He finished his beer. He finished his pizza. During ALL of this, I still have an empty 10 oz pour. Literally the worst service I've ever had, and I'm old as hell. The good news is that this is now a cautionary tale in my workplace about how bad things can get, so at least we can get some laughs about their ineptitude. If you like flavorful IPAs and sours, this is the place! The interior is spacious and dog-friendly and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is also a large patio on the south side that you enter via a long walkway. I like ales and German beers, and the only beer fitting my taste is the Light Ale, a smooth beer that goes well with pizza and spicy food. (You can bring in your own food here). My beer-drinking friend likes the much stronger (11% ABV!) Dwarvish, a smooth English Ale. The staff here is helpful, courteous and downright funny to chat with. Everyone here truly seems to enjoy their job, and that makes coming here so much fun. There are sponsored events throughout the week. There is ample parking to the east of the building off 6th Street, but it can get crowded during the quarterly art festivals off 4th Avenue, when the lot becomes an overpriced parking lot.
