I will say it did take a little while to get service at first, but honestly the incredible view and perfect weather made it easy to just relax and enjoy the moment while we waited. They started us off with warm sourdough bread and butter, which was the perfect touch. I ordered the prime rib sandwich on sourdough with au jus, and it was absolutely delicious, super flavorful and cooked perfectly. I also got the strawberry vanilla margarita with a sugar rim, and WOW... easily one of the best drinks I've had. So good. My grandparents each ordered the prime rib sliders without the bun with a loaded baked potato and made their own yummy creations, which they loved. The view was amazing and really made the whole experience, and our waitress, Paulina, was so kind and attentive once we got going. Definitely recommend if you're looking for great food, drinks, and a beautiful atmosphere!

The wedge salads had just a dollop of Bleu Cheese dressing on them. I don't usually order filets, but I did this time. It was overcooked and really tough for a filet. I suspect that they're now using a lower quality beef. The $24.00 "add on" lobster tail was tiny and undercooked. It was still opaque. The Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert (not on the menu, not sure why the waiter recommended it) was dry and dense. Overall, the quality has gradually gone down. So much that I doubt we'll be back.

Cocktails were good too. The food portions were large, we ended up taking home leftovers. The dining area is very spacious and multiple dining areas for guests to enjoy their company. Upscale dining that offered great service. Our host was very prompt with our table, she took our drink order, shared specials and menu items, brought bread for us to share, and kept our drinks topped off. Definitely a fantastic place to enjoy dinner with wonderful company!

It may have been seared in something like chimichurri, but whatever was on it completely overpowered the tuna. Instead of highlighting the fish, it dominated every bite. It honestly could have used some kind of palate cleanser alongside it. For mains, we ordered three different steaks, and surprisingly, all of them lacked flavor. That was the biggest letdown, especially after such a heavily seasoned appetizer. You expect a steakhouse to get that part right. The lobster was just okay. Nothing offensive, but nothing memorable either. Overall, the meal felt unbalanced. Either over-seasoned or under-seasoned, with nothing really standing out in a good way. Wouldn't recommend based this experience.

The main problem has been an overly noisy main dining room that makes it difficult to hear conversations at the table. There is always a long list of specials that are read by the server. Never mentioning the price. Last night I ordered a shrimp appetizer that came with 3 grilled shrimp, and an order of halibut. The bill for the 3 shrimp came to $26, and the halibut was $58. Additionally there was a surprise extra charge of 4% added to the total bill that I could not understand even after the server tried to explain it. The food was ok, not anything special and they have markedly reduced the vegetables and salad that usually accompany the entree. Going forward I would suggest that prices be included in the description of the specials and extra charges be posted up front. At this point the prices have become too high for the value of the experience.

We've been coming here for many years since they were in their old location. Noplace else in town does presentation like Wild Garlic. The dishes are always stunning. If you want to impress someone, this is the place to take them. They seem like they are protein focused due to their emphasis on quality steaks and seafood, but the plates have a wide variety of vegetables to accompany the protein. Root vegetables, asparagus, and the sauces really make the meal. It's not like going to a steakhouse where you get a lonely slab of meat - here you get a well-rounded plate. Our server was wonderful - so pleasant, and did a great job of memorizing the specials, because they always are extensive. We don't come here as often as we should - we really love the place.

I had the 12oz filet, debated how I wanted it cooked so I went with medium. It arrived a little more done than I anticipated, but after the first bite, I was 100% satisfied. It had an amazing char on it from the grill and it was tender throughout. Medium rare next time, but loved every bite how it was. I ordered the sweet potato which was delicious as was the carrot which is their staple included side. My wife had the Crab Cakes which was also fabulous. 2 nice sized cakes that were loaded with Crab. Unlike most crab cakes that contain too much breading, these were delicious. She ordered the baked potato which was huge and she loved it. What made the experience different than most was the service from the amazing bartender, Nicole and our equally beautiful server, Colleen. Not often a bartender not only comes over to say hello, delivers our drinks, then stops by to see how we liked them. Top it off with Colleen's expertise and knowledge of the menu in making sure the evening was memorable for us both. The surprise fudge brownie dessert with the special anniversary message left us looking forward to our next visit.

We ordered drinks, a wedge salad to start (I'd sit in a corner with some of the blue cheese and be happy), filet with the smashed potatoes & that unique carrot. We did order the creamed spinach, as we've had it before and it was delicious--however it failed to come to our table. We had more than enough food (especially with the fantastic bread), but it was still a little disappointing. The thing that truly could have made a difference was a visit from the manager--he was making the rounds and stopped to chat with every other table in the room, however we were never acknowledged. We will be back again, but as a mother and daughter who frequently travel & dine together, it's unfortunate when two women are not given the same kind of experience as other patrons.
