My family and I dined here 8/15/2026 , we have dined here and stayed at the Ritz Carlton multiple times. As always the food was delicious . We ORDERED : Buffalo Tacos - meat is tender and juicy . I do feel that there is too many condiments and it takes away from the taste of the meat . But still good . Crispy rice - spicy tuna was perfection . Not too spicy it's one of my daughter's favorite new meals they added. Dirty martini - not worth $28 ( Tito's vodka) I should have bought one of there special cocktails instead. FYI CASTAWAY is amazing ! Hamachi Aguachile- fish was fresh but the lime marinade lacked flavor . Still good but could've been better. SERVICE - our waiter was not very attentive . It seemed he had too many tables. Service was very slow and our waters were rarely filled . Maybe once . Impressed is an understatement! This American-style restaurant is located inside the ritz carlton hotel but is open to the public, and it's truly a hidden gem. The food was absolutely delicious, and the menu had tons of variety- something for everyone. The atmosphere was relaxed yet upscale, and everything from service to presentation felt thoughtfully done. My mom lives in the area, and this has officially become my new favorite spot in Marana. It's a rainy, ugly evening so we decided to stay at the hotel and grab a quick bite at Ignite. Service was friendly, helpful and quick. We shared chips and guacamole/salsa, which was very tasty. Then, we split a cheeseburger and skinny fries. Including the sesame sticks & almond snacks they started us with, it was all very filling. I enjoyed my Riesling and my husband liked his Manhattan. Beautiful patio dining and atmosphere is fantastic. Menu is pretty simple with an entire page of sushi options. We only visited Ignite this trip for dessert by the fire on night and coffee and after dinner drinks the next. The churros weren't anything special and the chocolate sauce that accompanied was very runny. Service was good. read more

Salad was size of a Petri dish , and beware entrees come with no free sides. My guest and I split a steak, had 2 orders of French fries, 2 salads, and 2 drinks. Our bill was $298??????? Went here last Monday evening with my husband and a couple friends. It was after a small monsoon shower, so it was a little cooler out. After a lengthy drive, we were excited to get a good view of the scenery while taking in some delicious bites. However, upon arriving and asking for a table outside, we were told that everything was wet so we would have to dine inside. There was a lot of staff standing around, so it did feel like they could've dried a table, but I digress. The menu was small and not very impressive to me, but I ordered a charcuterie board. My husband ordered the Ahi tuna tostadas from the shareable menu. The 2 tostadas seemed pretty personal sized and not a shareable size as advertised. Others at the table got the southwest salad and the salmon and tuna Poké bowl. The bowl looked pretty good. I also got the painkiller mocktail and it was delicious until getting to the bottom half which had an interesting flavor I can't describe, outside of no longer delicious. All in all, the restaurant was okay. (For the small charcuterie board, tostada plate, mocktail, & a sprite), We paid $86 for this "meal" :/ (including an 18% tip). Terrible experience! Live locally and have taken guest there multiple times to enjoy the food, scenery and ambiance. This time we had a sour waiter and slow slow service. The food looked like it had been prepared earlier and had sat out with dry cheese, dry meats on the charcuterie board. The fries were cold and limp. They stopped the Native American flute player in the hills and had someone play standing in the restaurant. I wrote to them a month ago and never heard back. We stayed here for a weekend staycation with our pup so Ignite was a easy spot to grab a bevy and bite in! They have a signature cocktail that is rum based that is absolutely delicious - I can't remember the name but something alone the lines of "By the Sea?" They also will do hot chocolate and Baileys for you if you want to order a cup and sit by the fire! The food menu is smaller but easy options- the edamame is a fav, the fries weren't as amazing as they sound but definitely not bad. My partner had the Buffalo tacos and said it was the most tender, delicious meat he's had. We also tried their Cobb salad which was crisp and well dressed! The chocolate cake was also a favourite! The servers were attentive and kind and ensured we were well taken care of! Pro tip: If you are travelling with your pup you can bring them onto the patio or dine in the lounge area before entering the actual restaurant- still full service and you get tasty nuts with your bevy's. read more

If you're at the RC Dove Mountain, Ignite is a solid dinner choice, and since they don't take reservations it's walk up only. You wouldn't necessarily think the middle of the desert would be a good place for sushi but they have fresh sashimi grade stuff flown in daily and a legit sushi bar adjacent to the cocktail bar with chefs making it to order. I am picky about sushi and this is good sushi. The nigiri was very good, obviously fresh. read more

This is a tough one, I'm probably going to say Ignite was a solid 3.5 but thankfully for them Yelp doesn't do half stars (yet) so they get a nice little bump up. Let's start with the pros: The atmosphere is very sexy and cozy. While there are table options sitting in the lounge was definitely a good move. The couches and chairs in the lounge area are super comfortable and with the dim lighting it gave that sexy vibe. Definitely liked that. If your dining with your family or a larger party you won't be able to squeeze into the lounge but if your a smaller group definitely ask for this spot. While the service wasn't stellar all around I will give credit where it's due. Our waiter was very NICE. Smile on his face and personable, he had a lovely attitude and made us feel welcomed. We also appreciated that when the bar accidentally made double cocktails of our order - he brought the second round to us on the house. The food was pretty good overall. There was a dish I wasn't thrilled about but otherwise I'm saying 4/5 in the food department. I LOVED their avocado fries with the spicy Mayo dipping sauce. The portion was plentiful and the flavor was delicious. Also their caprese salad was better then most, the pesto dressing and freshness of the greens made this for a perfect salad. Now for the upgrades (being a restaurant at the ritz I expected far better when it came to service). The service was rough after we got our appetizer. I second what a lot of the lower star reviews shared, they seemed enormously understaffed. Now it is the holiday season so I'm guessing or hoping they had staff out on vacation BUT when holidays can sometimes be your busiest months you would think the restaurants would be more stacked with service, especially the main restaurant on site. Anyways, what was supposed to be a quick cocktail and appetizer meal turned into an almost 2 hour dinner. It was getting close to the hour mark before we got a soup and salad, that's pretty nuts. As I said above, our waiter was nice but it was hard to lock him down to check on the status of our meal and to ask for a check. We had been waiting so long towards the end that we had to flag down a gal to get the check. That never feels good. Especially when your paying top price for everything. Also the charro bean soup would be a dish to avoid. It's very misleading as to what the soup actually is. When I read a soup has beans and andouille sausage I expected a stew. Instead the dish came out as broth....it was so unexpected I assumed they brought me out the wrong dish. When I asked how I ordered a soup called "charro bean soup" and there are literally no beans or meat in the soup, the informed me that the broth is just seasoned with the beans and sausage. Very strange and misleading on the menu. I would have described it more as a menudo broth minus all of the good stuff in it haha. For $18 this was a miss. All in all I really loved the cocktails here and cozy romantic atmosphere. The prickly pear Margarita was perfection and it could've been a great spot for a date night. However, they really need to figure out service and the spacing of the dishes as 2 hours is overkill for the minimal tasters we ordered. read more

This is the restaurant in the lobby of the Ritz. The menu is pretty good...lot of sushi options and lots of other good stuff! I ordered the avocado fries and they were SUPER GOOD! I order the avocado tacos and I added grilled shrimp...they were just ok as was the service. Our server was not good at all and hard to find. I ordered a bottle of Panna Water and I couldn't find her to ever get my glass refilled when normally the water is placed at the table while you eat. So it was a good food experience but this being the Ritz Carlton I did feel service in the lobby restaurant should've been much better. read more

Our first night here at the ritz we decided to have a dinner at ignite we sat outside and had a traditional native flute that was great not loud but just great ambiance. We had a server and assistant waiter never had one of those before but great service by them. Didn't get too crazy of drinks just a local beer and wine. We started with grilled shrimp and naan bread which tasted amazing. The wife and I split 2 sandwiches a burger and chicken Sammy. Both filling and great flavor I would sure hope so for $30+ dollars each. Only nock is the price there should be more options less than $30. read more

One of my favorite restaurants at any Ritz Carlton. First and foremost, ORDER THE AVOCADO FRIES!! It comes with the best chipotle mayo... I dream of these "fries"! Even my boyfriend who doesn't like avocado adores them. Highly recommend the black bean tostados, burger, & fajitas as well. One of the best Prickly Pear margaritas I've ever had as well, & my boyfriend raves of the Ignite margarita, which comes with a flaming lime! The highlight of this restaurant, however, is the outdoor fireplaces and views. You can sit outside for ages just admiring the views. This restaurant is inside the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain. It has beautiful views of the mountains. We had drinks and appetizers just before sunset. Chris was the bartender/server and he was wonderful and engaging. I enjoyed the Ignite chipotle mango margarita which tasted great. My friend had a ranch water. The best app we had was the avocado fries, if you like avocado they are a MUST! They have cultural rangers on their staff and at sunset they come out and share history and culture of the area and then they have a Native American Wood flautist who plays up in the mountains and the music echoes throughout the area. It is a wonderful experience. The flautist plays for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. If you live in the area and have not experienced this you should go check it out. If you have people coming to the area this is something special to share with them. If you are coming to Tucson from out of town this is a great resort to stay at and this restaurant is wonderful. Impossibly lovely environment, but the team is really struggling. Our server and the kitchen required 4 attempts to get our order of avocado tostadas prepared for our table. So we received our food at separate times, separated by 20 minutes. Disastrous? Heavens no, but enjoyable (no) and guilt inducing (yes), when your spouse sits without a bite of food, insisting I go ahead and eat for fear of my tacos becoming cold. Came here since it was an easy spot for our first night at the Ritz. It's definitely nice having so many dining options in the hotel and this is a decent dining option. The service was ok--they were a little slow and were slightly clumsy, but it was no big deal. As a heads up, the do sushi on Fridays and Saturday nights an also have live music. For food, we ordered the Dove Mountain Sushi Roll, some nigiri pieces, the burger, buffalo tacos which were recommended very heavily, and the mixed greens salad. As for their sushi, the Dove Mountain Sushi Roll was phenomenal, the hamachi nigiri was great, and the salmon nigiri was alright. As for the burger, the onions that topped it were phenomenal--it almost made a French Onion Soup flavor. The meat itself though was ok, not too flavorful. The chips and aoli were pretty good. As for the mixed greens salad, we were told to split it since it was on the hearty side--which was a very good idea. The split portions seemed like an individual portion on their own. The buffalo chicken tacos which were disappointing. They were almost a barbecued flavor and the meat was alright. Overall, it's an alright spot. The service is nice, but slow, the food is ok, but nothing will beat the ambiance and the views that the Ritz and Ignite provide. read more

A truly wonderful restaurant experience. You have many options here...to eat by a lovely fireplace, in the library, on the patio or just in a really cool bar/restaurant.
