Great pool bar / grill at the J Dub Starr Pass. Nice selection of premium quality patio grill food and beverage, and love that it's a very very casual spot at an otherwise 5 star resort. TV allows for watching the game, and the fact that it's a large covered patio with lots of ceiling fans makes it a place you can enjoy even when it's quite warm out.

Not bad food and drinks selection. The chicken tenders and fruit smoothies are great. Sometimes hard to track down a server when at the pool, but service is great all around. Very nice and make sure you have everything you need while enjoying the pool.

Absolutely the best service I've had from a restaurant in a long time. Waiters were super nice, food was very good. Highly Recommend.

Dirty tables and patio, not to mention the bathroom. Slow service and mediocre food at astronomical prices.

The chicken quesadilla is a close second, although a bit harder to eat poolside.

Everything is made differently with less flavor and finesse. The lettuce wraps used to be standout now they're dry and under seasoned. It's also presented differently which made for an awkward dining experience. I remember being blown away by the katsu chicken sandwhich the first time. This time it was gross. It was not fried like katsu but more so like a battered chicken breast. It always was not pounded flat into a uniform piece of meat but was more so a badly butchered breast that fell apart when you ate it. It was dry, under seasoned, fried way too hard and was stringy. I'd come for drinks and completely pass on the food all together. Not worth the high price tag associated with it. Karaoke DJ was stellar!!!!! Kept the party going and was so fun!!!!!

He kindly changed the TV to…read morecatch the last quarter of Oregon Duck game and nice enough to accommodate a request to change to red sauce on the Paco Blanco Chix saus EVOO pizza..ran back to the owner chef to ask. He obliged ;D so TY both. Bob also makes a mean Sazerac , a $6 upcharge on the rye, but good quality drinks with inventive menus will cost you here, so save up, it's worthy. Ever heard of a beer press? Ingredients to flavor your draft mixed in a French Press. Oh and the house made old fashioned bitters are tell tale cocktail elevaters that really shine. Bob also took time to read over sugar content/Cals on NA drinks in fridge with me, tiny writing and low lighting, he was very understanding and patient in helping to make a selection. The pizza? It's Jaime's from next door but no app or running there needed, the bar takes the order, delivers when ready and has the extra condiments behind the bar to parm red chili flakes or black pepper up your slices. The bottom is crisp and 72-hr cold fermented dough has great flavor as does the sauce which has slight tang and zestiness, and now my go to over Empire Pizza, my previous downtown fave. Got the Gorgonzola bacon salad with house croutons, heirloom tomatoes and for $7 small, it was plenty for both of us pre-pizza. It's large, nice and proper cold, so delicious and had the hubby singing it's praises, we can't wait to try another salad as the quality of ingredients and house made dressing was tops! Good Oak has a dark speakeasy vibe with long velvety drapes to greet you on entry, a photo booth to capture your pre and post giggly highs from what the gorgeous wood bar will provide, along a long counter with wood booths to hide away in and sip the night away. Music is on blast, metal last 2 visits and spooky Halloween decor currently, adds to the mood.Games are stashed behind the fridge and exciting art nights, Sunday spin your own Vinyl, movie projections a-coming on the shared back patio with Jaime's and corner Art Bar give you more reasons to search Good Oak out, if you ever needed one! And there is a Happy Hr with discounted drinks ..ck Insta.

I'm happy to have finally gotten a chance to visit Unicorn Zebra since it's been on my list from…read morethe time they opened. It's a fun and also elegant atmosphere with the zebra theme clearly exemplified across the space. I would have to say this is one of the coziest bars I've been to, the furniture and seating is really supportive of a long-term visit. There are other levels, lower and an upper level besides the main space, but be aware that if there are parties, they can typically take up different areas. Our bartender, Sarah was fantastic! The way that she handled all of the guests and the busy field was incredible, so calm and collected, and furthermore making some really incredible drinks. Heads up that the online drink menu is not the current drink menu, I couldn't remember all the names of our drinks and put those in the photo captions, so when I checked on the website, the menu was showing something different other than what I saw at the bar. Out of several places I've been to, I'd say the mixture of flavors and details in the drinks are quite unique. I'll be back for more one day

We were greeted by a giant statue of a unicorn zebra and of course took a selfie. We then went to the bar area and absolutely loved the dark speakeasy vibes. Burk, the handsome man with a shiny head, was at the bar. He handed us a drink menu that contained fun drink names like Death of a Unicorn. The drinks tasted good and had a lovely presentation. Mine even came in a zebra mug. We also learned that this bar has both an upstairs and downstairs area. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and headed home. This place left such an impression that we have been back two times since. On another occasion we had Nate the bartender. He had a lovely personality and accommodated all of the guests that came in near closing. We enjoyed Santa's Banana Hammock and Unicorn Ski Accident. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. I look forward to seeing where this place goes. It has a ton of potential for special events with the basement area. P.s. It's also a boutique hotel. You could always book a room and enjoy dreams downstairs without having to drive

It's only halfway through 2026, but I already know this will make my Top 5 restaurants of the year…read more It brings me such joy to happily pay for food that truly deserves its price tag - and I'd gladly pay more. So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. I can tell there is passion poured into every dish with every ingredient thoughtfully melded together. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here so they can experience this too!!

The drink menu is extensive- everyone loved what they ordered, and there were several other things we wanted too! The shrubs and Coca Cola with espresso were the favorite picks. My main course of kale Caesar salad was amazing, and the portion was so generous I had lunch for two days! Everyone else raved about their food. The service was so friendly and helpful. The location was spacious and airy. Highly recommend you check it out!
