We recently stayed at the Ritz Dove Mountain. We ate at Ignite three times. We really enjoyed the sushi, cocktails, fries and may of the shareable. Service was consistently great.

Beautiful patio dining and atmosphere is fantastic. Menu is pretty simple with an entire page of sushi options. We only visited Ignite this trip for dessert by the fire on night and coffee and after dinner drinks the next. The churros weren't anything special and the chocolate sauce that accompanied was very runny. Service was good.

Went here last Monday evening with my husband and a couple friends. It was after a small monsoon shower, so it was a little cooler out. After a lengthy drive, we were excited to get a good view of the scenery while taking in some delicious bites. However, upon arriving and asking for a table outside, we were told that everything was wet so we would have to dine inside. There was a lot of staff standing around, so it did feel like they could've dried a table, but I digress. The menu was small and not very impressive to me, but I ordered a charcuterie board. My husband ordered the Ahi tuna tostadas from the shareable menu. The 2 tostadas seemed pretty personal sized and not a shareable size as advertised. Others at the table got the southwest salad and the salmon and tuna Poké bowl. The bowl looked pretty good. I also got the painkiller mocktail and it was delicious until getting to the bottom half which had an interesting flavor I can't describe, outside of no longer delicious. All in all, the restaurant was okay. (For the small charcuterie board, tostada plate, mocktail, & a sprite), We paid $86 for this "meal" :/ (including an 18% tip). I'd be interested to try the others in the area for a better value/experience.

Oytstanding service! loved the cheesecake and the cocktails. nice ambience from the patio next to the firepit. The view at JW Marriott Starr Pass overlooking the twinkling lights of the city is better, but still this is a nice getaway far from civilization.

Great food, great cocktails, great wine selection, great service and great atmosphere with occasional evening entertainment. If you're at the RC Dove Mountain, Ignite is a solid dinner choice, and since they don't take reservations it's walk up only. You wouldn't necessarily think the middle of the desert would be a good place for sushi but they have fresh sashimi grade stuff flown in daily and a legit sushi bar adjacent to the cocktail bar with chefs making it to order. I am picky about sushi and this is good sushi. The nigiri was very good, obviously fresh.

This is the restaurant in the lobby of the Ritz. The menu is pretty good...lot of sushi options and lots of other good stuff! I ordered the avocado fries and they were SUPER GOOD! I order the avocado tacos and I added grilled shrimp...they were just ok as was the service. Our server was not good at all and hard to find. I ordered a bottle of Panna Water and I couldn't find her to ever get my glass refilled when normally the water is placed at the table while you eat. So it was a good food experience but this being the Ritz Carlton I did feel service in the lobby restaurant should've been much better.

Our first night here at the ritz we decided to have a dinner at ignite we sat outside and had a traditional native flute that was great not loud but just great ambiance. We had a server and assistant waiter never had one of those before but great service by them. Didn't get too crazy of drinks just a local beer and wine. We started with grilled shrimp and naan bread which tasted amazing. The wife and I split 2 sandwiches a burger and chicken Sammy. Both filling and great flavor I would sure hope so for $30+ dollars each. Only nock is the price there should be more options less than $30.

Maybe it's the live native flute music echoing in the canyon. Maybe it's the way the sunset turns the saguaro lined mountains bright pink. Maybe it's the fire pit and the cool desert air at night. But everything here is always just right. Excellent menu options. Excellent service. We've noticed many of the associates at Ignite are the same nice folks on every return visit to the resort, which seems to say something about how the restaurant is managed.

A special restaurant in a beautiful hotel. We ordered a cheese plate, a few drinks, and some edamame and watched the sun go down. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. I've been here previously and gotten larger food dishes ranging from sashimi to hamburgers and fries, and everything has been good.

Delicious sushi! We enjoyed our rolls and nigiri so much! It's the Ritz so a little pricier but was worth it.

    tempura roll

Had a great dinner with beautiful views. We enjoyed a prickly pear margarita and a classic margarita which were both very good. Avocado tostadas we're delicious as was the tempura roll- all of the fish in the sushi was fresh. Our server Claudia was very nice and provided great service. Definitely recommend if you're in the area or staying at the Ritz.

Ignite was fire! From start to finish, they did not miss a beat. From the hostess desk to the servers to the live musicians and of course the cooks, everyone worked harmoniously to create a magical experience. My husband and I shared a few dishes. We ordered the following items: fried avocados (A+), Caesar salad (B+), Burger (A), ice cream sandwich (A+) and churros (B). If you're staying at The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain and wish to dine under the stars at a stellar restaurant, then look no further than Ignite.

Our bartender was extremely busy, but she still managed to check on us regularly (kudos to her for that). For drinks, we ordered a house Cabernet Sauvignon and a draft beer, both were great. For snacks, we tried the chicken wings: half honey sauce (our favorite, crispy and delicious) and half bourbon. The bourbon wings had great flavor, though we felt they were slightly undercooked. Prices are very reasonable. The bathrooms were clean, but they were missing paper towels. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu

Ever heard of a beer press? Ingredients to flavor your draft mixed in a French Press. Oh and the house made old fashioned bitters are tell tale cocktail elevaters that really shine. Bob also took time to read over sugar content/Cals on NA drinks in fridge with me, tiny writing and low lighting, he was very understanding and patient in helping to make a selection. The pizza? It's Jaime's from next door but no app or running there needed, the bar takes the order, delivers when ready and has the extra condiments behind the bar to parm red chili flakes or black pepper up your slices. The bottom is crisp and 72-hr cold fermented dough has great flavor as does the sauce which has slight tang and zestiness, and now my go to over Empire Pizza, my previous downtown fave. Got the Gorgonzola bacon salad with house croutons, heirloom tomatoes and for $7 small, it was plenty for both of us pre-pizza. It's large, nice and proper cold, so delicious and had the hubby singing it's praises, we can't wait to try another salad as the quality of ingredients and house made dressing was tops! But at the end of the day, they're just too simple to be memorable. Really, these are cocktails for people who don't know much about cocktails. Just about everything on the menu is safe. Too safe. A few classics, and a few originals with like three ingredients. My Sonoran Old Fashioned (Tequila, honey, lemon) was OK but it didn't add any sort of bitters or house-made syrups for pizzazz, nor did it employ an agave spirit with any depth. What a snooze. Same for the admittedly cute drink featuring prickly pear--just straightforward and unimaginative. Nothing really appealed to me, so I went with my personal top-shelf staple--a Hendrick's and tonic. But they didn't even have Hendricks! Guess they were too busy using the limited space for a bunch of whiskeys. Spoiler alert: They don't even have the biggest (or most curated) whiskey list within a couple hundred meters. They used to have a kitchen too, and I wanted to try that, but it looks like they simply gave up on that in favor of outsourcing food to the adjacent pizzeria. I don't mean any disrespect, but there's nothing Good Oak can do that isn't done better by someone else on Congress. A charming and quiet reprieve from an otherwise loud and partygoing district, but if you want to be wowed by premium beverages, just keep walking.
