Beautiful place to grab some delicious food. Prices are borderline high for what it is but love to grab a table outside and enjoy the beautiful Tucson weather. You can tell the workers hate their job. The food was pretty good and the bartender was very nice. It took me about 20 minutes before we even got our avocado fries. The manager Gissella was very very rude to one of her employees and she had a very bad attitude. She seemed as though she enjoyed watching her employees struggle. read more

After spending many an evening with out of town guests at the Ignite restaurant enjoying the pan flute in the evening's twilight, last night we were stopped at the entry gate denied access. The gate attendant told us that the Ignite restaurant was only available to members and guests of the Ritz Carlton since COVID-19. Please understand this is not to say the quality of the food/staff at Ignite is of zero quality. It is to say that the Ritz-Carlton has done a poor job of advertising that Ignite is not available to the general public. Not wanting to only give a poor Yelp review of the Ritz-Carlton, here is a solution for those wanting to dine on Dove Mountain: Vero Amore, 12130 N. Dove Mountain Blvd., Unit 104, Marana, AZ 85658, veroamorepizza.com, 520-579-2292. After leaving Ritz-Carlton we traveled less than six miles to Vero Amore. You will find dinner prices at half the price of Ignite's Happy Hour prices with the selection ten times greater. The sunset views from Vero Amore's patio are breath taking. Note: when the sun sets at Ignite, the sun is setting behind the resort, out of sight! We will never return to Ignite. From now on our restaurant of choice is Vero Amore. read more

We live locally and come here on occasion. We have done staycations and had amazing service. Our experience at Ignite was terrible. Mind you it's the summer and it was slow. I'm sure they aren't fully staffed but for $30 a cocktail and a $30 appetizer I expect better service. We were completely ignored by the bartender and multiple servers walked by us as we sat there. We were also one of the only people in there at the time. We finally got drinks and food and it was going better. It got a bit busier and our server completely forgot about us the rest of our time there. He didn't check on our food, didn't offer us another round (which we would have gotten). We sat there with empty water glasses, empty plates and he continually walked past us. I didn't see a manager on the floor either. Our saving grace was Claudia at the end who cleared our plates, got us a to go box and paid our tab. My husband spent 10 years working for the ritz Carlton and he was appalled. Will never be back. The view is great, food is great but service was so disappointing for a 5 diamond 5 star resort. read more

All of the Dove Mountain Ritz Carlton experience is superb. We had Ignite twice. Once on the patio and once from room service. The kobe wagyu beef burgers were cooked just right and the service at the level to be expected. Sit on the patio if you can and enjoy the magic of the resort. We didnt get to the whiskey and I would say that my one disappointment was a lack of international variety for such a large selection. read more

We usually eat at Core when we stay on our anniversary weekend, but we decided to try Ignite. I ate the most delicious meal of my life! We started off with avacado fries that were crunchy on the outside, and smooth and silky on the inside. They were scrumptious! Now, if you like meat. You must try their Allen Brothers Skirt Steak! Usually skirt is a little tough and chewy. Not Allen Brothers! The meat was soft, the corn with cojita cheese was perfect. My mouth is watering as I type this out:) My wife had the tomato and blue corn salad with chicken. It comes without lettuce so don't order it if you want lettuce. I just had the best birthday night drinks/snacks at Ignite. The staff was so attentive, that when someone went on break or left for the evening (we were there late and near closing) every time the current server and replacement server came to tell us who was who and who'd be taking care of us. Such professional and unobtrusive service. The food runner didn't leave the table until he asked if we had any questions. Sharon was so welcoming and great. Each staff member did their job to the fullest. I wish I remembered the name of who took care of us after. Just moved here from NYC so wanted to get some good food and wine in me. This place did not disappoint. It is sincerely beautiful inside and out. Had the pear wings and the skirt steak with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Asked for a medium rare skirt steak (cause I'm not a terrorist) and it was cooked to perfection! And HOLY SURPRISE, BATMAN! The meat was seasoned just enough to taste like a little slice of heaven but not enough to take away the taste of the meat itself. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and friendly. Came out to $108.00. Not bad at all. Remember this is in the Ritz-Carlton Resort and Spa. Plan to make this a monthly visit. read more

The casual atmosphere did not give us an indication of the stellar dinner and drinks we were about to enjoy from the Charcuterie Board to the delectable filet mignon cooked perfectly rare. The nightly Mixology Resort offered Class provided delightful Prohibition Era drinks we had never before heard of or tasted; very delectable. The service was top notch! read more

This was my favorite restaurant inside the Ritz Carlton because of the atmosphere. It's considered the most casual of the restaurants but it's still not "too" casual. Located right off the lobby, the restaurant/lounge overlooks the pool and beautiful mountains, making for an incredible visual. At night, they have live music playing to enjoy while you dine! We ate here for lunch and dinner during our stay and were happy both times! My favorite thing on the menu is their buffalo chicken tacos. They were delicious and definitely worth getting. They have a wide variety of food to choose from, including noodle bowls, burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, etc. The food is about what you would expect from the lounge restaurant but with Ritz Carlton flare. I especially enjoyed the flavored nuts and olives they give you upon arrival. read more

Located at the Ritz in Marana, Ignite has some of the best desert views in Tucson. This is one of several restaurants on the property. Ignite is offers a casual menu in a cozy atmosphere. From salads, to tacos, burgers and fish n chips, the menu boasts your typical bar fare with a bit of a Southwestern flare. The food is good, nothing out of this world, but when you're sitting out on the patio with a view to the desert hills and the pool, it's pretty much a five-star experience. At night you can enjoy the view fireside, as they have several tables with fire pits and ample seating. I've come here a number of times and the service has always been attentive and friendly. On Thursday nights they set-up a sushi bar in the lobby. Although the sushi offerings are somewhat limited, the fish quality is excellent for sure. Live music is also another awesome feature. For locals, I recommend making the drive out to The Ritz and enjoying a casual bite out on the patio. Don't miss the sunset! read more

(11/01/2014) Judging by the reviews, it was not just my massage brain haze, which lead me to think the Avocado Fries are the best thing since sliced bread. Unsure about what they were, we asked the waiter for an explanation and he had me at "breaded...". Wedges of avocado, breaded and flash-fried, dipped in chipotle ranch.... My mouth is already watering. I had spent the day at the Ritz-Carlton Spa and we decided to have dinner there as well. Ignite is located off the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton and opens up to a large patio complete with fire features and live music. They brought out a dish with olives and jalapeno crusted almonds which are made in-house. The almonds carry some good heat and are totally addictive. I am not an olive fan, but people around us seem to like them. The prickly pear margaritas were delicious, and a perfect balance of sweet but not too sweet; additionally, they did not taste like the pre-made mix that you get at some places. I had the pasta, which was decent, not remarkable like I would have hoped for. My friend had the buffalo tacos, upon recommendation from the waiter, and said they were ok (which did not equate to a rave review in my book). I think that they probably have a specific following for that type of fusion food. We had the creme brûlée to finish, which was ok, but was disappointing to me as I feel that it really should have been spectacular. One of the waiters said they came bring it up from the CORE restaurant, also located on the property. I gave it four stars, based on the ambience, prickly pear margarita and avocado fries, which I will definitely go back for; however, I will be trying the other restaurants on the property next time around. read more

We enjoyed two meals at this restaurant during our stay at the Ritz in Dove Mountain. The food was delicious, the servers are super friendly and the setting is so nice! Sitting outside on the patio is really nice if the flies aren't out. We had the burger, sweet potato fries and a salad one of the nights. It was all really good and we'd get it again. We got the salmon sushi roll and the lettuce wraps another night. The lettuce wraps were excellent, but the sushi was just ok. They mostly tasted like a lump of cream cheese with white rice wrapped around it. There was barely any salmon in them. I'd still give this restaurant 5 stars though. read more

Beautiful setting with fire pits and heaters outside. The trees and cacti had little white lights...it looked like fairyland. Excellent service.
