We stop by to grab lunch since the entrance to the community says restaurant & golf. We figured that it was open to the public. Well, they will not refuse to serve you if you have a credit card. But I can tell you, you will not feel welcome at this MEMBERS ONLY attitude. The food was way overpriced for what you got and was only okay. While the dining area is nice, they don't put non members anywhere with any sort of view. If you want to feel uncomfortable then be my guest! I'll take my money someplace else! read more

The new chef here is fabulous. The dinner plates look like they came out of a posh restaurant. The service is always excellent. Our only complaint is they have a lot of club gatherings here and they are very loud so the ambiance is often bad. Still, if you are lucky and pick the right night it's excellent. read more

We really enjoy coming here. The food is always fresh and appealing. The service is top-notch! We prefer to sit in the bar area and Tom/Val are great! The restaurant is beautiful - a perfect place for date night. They offer fish and chips the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month and it is the best fish and chips in Tucson! If you're lucky enough to come here when the fresh fish of the day is halibut - order the halibut! It is so gooooooood!!!! It is for members only; but they just changed the membership so if you want to be a dining club member, there is no longer a monthly fee. Instead you agree to spend $500 a year. Went for dinner, "date night" on Sat night. 3 course price-fix. They have the "Date Night" every other week in the summer. Nice location. Nice facility. Nice wait staff. Chicken Poblano for her, Pork Oso Bucco pour moi. Would have been 4 stars, but there were some temperature issues with the food. Decent food thiugh. The food was good, but not great. Could use a little work, but other wise nice. The service was pleasant, but found my water went unfilled for extended length of time and the request for condiments never came out until we asked for them a second time and after our meal was partially eaten. But the wait staff was nice. Also, what kind of bar doesn't carry simple syrup.... if you'd like the recipe, I'd be happy to share with the restaurant. The ambiance was nice, but the cackling of the snowbird crowd was rather disturbing. Would likely visit again if they could place muzzles on them. They went private as 1 December and required membership that even for $75 per month per 12 month contract is too pricey. They did this because they lost over $60k last year! Had tasty burgers and best onion rings, Infrastructure has been run down because of the called "professional golfers!" Too bad because non-Residents who didn't bite over the waiver of $500 Initiation fee that ends Jan 31, 2017 will most likely spend money elsewhere read more

This place used to be ok, but after they changed over to a membership operation the prices went up and the overall quality dropped. The good news is that the locals that had been going there since it originally opened no longer have any use for it. The snowbirds don't know any better and couldn't care less since they don't really live here, so they patronize it in the winter. If they ever re-open it to the public it will be a long time before area residents that live here year around patronize it again. At the present time, just avoid it and you'll be happy you did. read more

Lunch & Golf Was in Tucson last week for a golf trip. Ended our week having lunch at The Gallery in their bar/restaurant and then playing The South course(prior home to the Accenture World Match Play). Anyway, we arrived and were greeted by the bag boys who unloaded our clubs and guided us to all the spots we needed to be at. Went to the bar/restaurant for lunch. WOW! Immaculate facility with bar area with loads of seating and also a cozy restaurant side. We opted for bar area. 1st class service. Ordered a southwest salad with chicken. Perefct! Other cats ordered a southwest pork sandwich, a chicken chipotle wrap, a special caesar salad and we all shared some other their specialty nachos. Couldn't have had a better, fresh and perfect lunch. QUALITY all around from food to service. Also offered us some roadir brewski's for the course. Sierra Nevada cans! BOOYAH! Golf course & practice areas....TOP NOTCH! One of my new favorite courses in Tucson/Oro Valley/Dove Mountain. Perfect for all golfer skill levels. We played to Tour tees and found it perefct for our game. Manicured to a T. Already booked next years trip. The course is comparable to The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Dove Mountain(present home of The Accenture World Match Play). My favorite club. Always have consistently great food here. Been in for lunch and love their Asian salad with grilled shrimp. Also, love their Thursday BBQ night, delicious ribs and brisket. The facilities are pretty good, although not layed out very well. You can't get to the clubhouse at the turn on the S course at all and on the N course it's a long walk. There's no on course service available. Restaurant is only open a few nights for dinner and the place is dead, a real retirement home, so not really worth going to as its a destination site. The place has been poorly managed over the last few years, alienating members with open play and discounted rates. It's a good deal if you're a fee per round player, but go to one of the close by restaurants (Dove Mountain Grill or Vera Amore) for after golf food and drinks. Troon North took over management recently. They have a good reputation and in all honestly, they can't do a worse job than Art Powell, Phil Satterfield and Paul Nolan, who have basically run the place into the ground. read more

I think they have their noses so far up in the air they do not care about non members (golf course went private 12/1 and the restaurant goes private 2/1 unless u fill out forms and then have to pay to eat there besides the meal) the grounds are superb as r all the buildings inn out,but I guess they should be with all the thousands the members pay. will go back 1 more time as I have $50 left on a gift card that I was not able to use on golf went they went private. read more

Had breakfast here today. Omelet station was well done and the omelets were very good. However, everything else was not good and cold. Bacon, sausage, hash browns were all cold and therefore not very tasty. Beautiful place and you want to love it, but if they are going to try to do breakfast they need to do a much better job. read more
