First time coming here with some friends. Our server was cool and the drinks were fine, but the food was incredibly mediocre for what they charge. My friends got burgers that were around $17-18 which is nothing crazy but nothing about them justified that price. What really got me was the $9 dessert cookie. I wish I had taken a picture because the size was honestly laughable. I know $9 isn't a fortune, but for what came out, it was embarrassing. I complained and was told the manager was informed, but the manager never came over, said anything, or even acknowledged it. I wasn't expecting it for free obviously, but doing absolutely nothing after a customer brings up a legitimate complaint says a lot. The place already has rough reviews, and after going myself, I understand why. Mediocre food for the price and management that doesn't seem to care. Dove Mountain Brewery definitely has potential--it's a great location, has a nice atmosphere, and serves an impressive beer and cocktail selection. It's a solid spot to grab a drink and maybe order simple bar staples like wings or a salad. However, the rest of the food leaves a lot to be desired, making their claim of being a "scratch kitchen" pretty questionable. Service: Mid. Nothing awful, but far from attentive or knowledgeable. The Food: Subpar across the board. The Tacos: I explicitly requested corn tortillas, but they were brought out on flour. The "Street Corn": A total letdown. After the server assured me it was fresh off the cob, what arrived was dry, chewy, and tasted suspiciously like a microwaved can of Kroger Fiesta Corn. The Flatbread Special: My husband ordered this, and to sum it up: it was flat, the end. It lacked any real flavor or depth, which you'd expect from a featured special. Bottom Line: Come for the great drinks and the location, but lower your expectations for the food. We stopped by this establishment on our way to La Jolla and had a nice meal. We ate on the patio with the misters in full gear! The restaurant was very clean and sleek. It must be a popular place for the locals because people came and went. They were also very friendly and nice! The wait staff were great and very accommodating. I wasn't incredibly hungry for dinner when I went with a group, so I got the loaded nachos off the appetizer section. To me, this is something that a brewery can do pretty solid. Unfortunately, somehow they were burnt. My guess is that the nachos are put in an oven or something, but the overall lacking attention and flavor otherwise informs the two stars. The service was good and the patio seating was nice, but I imagine going for drinks as opposed to food is a better bet. read more

4/10/26 Here we are again for the hubs birthday. Nice place and close to home. Their fries are always nice and crispy.

I've been here a couple times now--once for dining and once for just drinks. They've got a lot of options for seating. Plentiful outdoor options including a back patio with a fire pit and great views. There are two bars and indoor dining as well. The beer list boasts a lot of Tucson and Arizona beers, including two of their own creations. They also have wine, cocktails, and a decent selection of mocktails. I went with a big blue van and my husband got the dove mountain IPA. He wasn't very impressed with it and said he wished he had gotten a different IPA. You don't know until you try! Service was efficient. It looks like they regularly have live music and host events like paint night. They also have a small cooler so you can take certain beers and wines home with you. Will definitely return--would love to enjoy some live music! read more

I returned to try their Fish n Chips & was very impressed. They were able to accommodate my request to replace the chips with Brussels Sprouts which were excellent, the coleslaw was the best I've ever had containing jalapeno & tangerine without being too wet. The piece of Cod was pretty large, one of the biggest I've found in Tucson. Great beer batter & cooked perfectly. Another flight of IPA's & filled a Growler with Boom Dynamite IPA for the win. Service was great, they were having live music in the back patio while we were there so I was super loud. We had the onion ring tower which was hand breaded and amazing. The DMB classic burger was cooked to perfection and the bun was really good with fires. We had the tomato bisque soup and it was super spicy we ended up not eating it. One of the best restaurants in Dove Mountain. They had a specialty "Super Bowl" menu during my visit so I had to get the Seahawk Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich. I also got a fruity sour beer which was refreshing. Beautiful patio and great atmosphere. Server was attentive enough. read more

Oh. Wow. I downloaded this stupid app just to write this. My server, "Georgia" although i'm sure that's not her name, was immediately rude to me, acting like I was nothing but an inconvenience. Sure it was busy but C'MON. I also saw her VAPING in the kitchen around very young fine gentleman. I went outside for a quick smoke, and guess what I saw. GEORGIA. Not only smoking around kids for about an hour as I didn't see her until at least then. She also shared said drugs with the kids. This is silly. I asked for her manager and she refused saying she was the manager. I hope this isn't true. But if it is I strongly suggest her to not be anymore. There is no place in a restaurant for her and especially in this establishment. It is very fine and I enjoy the bar a lot, that's why I still gave it one star. With that in mind, we dropped in on a sunny afternoon (isn't that every afternoon in Arizona) to get some food and beers in us. Emily's parents are the ones that suggest we all come here. You don't need to twist our arms to get some good food and beers in our belly. We decided to sit outside since it was still relatively cool out and a perfect day to sip beer in the sun. We all placed our beer orders and settled into chatting and sipping our beers. We all ordered something different and decided to try each other's beers out to see if we liked them or not. My first choice was the Pueblo Vida Hef and it was delicious. My second choice was... well, I honestly don't remember. After we all kept ordering and sampling and drinking on an empty stomach, things got a bit fuzzy. Emily's parents said the food here was really good. I am always in the mood for a big burger so that's what I got. The BBQ Pub Burger was calling my name this day with a side of fries. Emily ordered the Crispy Asian Chicken salad. It took about 12 minutes for our food to come out (the 'rents were full from breakfast so they stuck with beer). The waitress, who was very nice, said that the french fries were super popular there and that everyone loves them. I personally thought they were fine. Nothing mind-blowing but went well with the burger. The burger itself was the bomb. It was juicy, full of flavor, and left me needing to wash my hands and needing a cigarette afterwards. Well it's been 9 years since I I last reviewed DMB, probably time for an update. The interior looks pretty much the same - they have a surprising amount of seating if you want to sit outside. We were intrigued by the Valentine's special, so dinner for two. We started with a cocktail - I had a Manhattan which was really excellent and a generous pour. We opted for the bubbly that came with the special, which was quite good as well. Our one beef: it took a *long* time for our food to come, and we had to ask to have our salads delivered so we could work on that while our entrees were prepared. The entrees were beautiful, worthy of a high-end restaurant. The scallops were perfectly cooked and I really enjoyed the shrimp sauce. The cheesecake after dinner was good sized and really quite good. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves - we were a bit apprehensive about coming here for Valentines but we were really happy with the food and drink. Warning: this place gets very noisy. The concrete floors bounce the sound around pretty well. It can be tough to carry on a conversation, but outdoor seating solves that weather permitting. read more

Stumbled upon this place while out for a drive this afternoon, decided to give it a try, because after all, who doesn't like a brewing place on a Saturday afternoon? Great beer selection and good food selection on the menu. We stuck to appetizers since it was mid afternoon. We sat at the bar on the left when you walk in the main doors. The server, I think her name is Ivy, was very pleasant and attentive. I like the space, with just enough TVs featuring football without being too intrusive. The hummus platter is excellent and highly recommended. We enjoyed the experience and plan on heading there again, probably for beer and dinner. read more

We've been here many times. Every time we say, "maybe today will be different." Nope. Service is consistently terrible, and the food is about as good as gas station sushi. The "bar tenders" just stand in the corner of the bar gossiping loud enough for everyone at the bar to hear what they're saying. They seem to think that if they don't make eye contact they can ignore you. And lastly they assume the change in the bill is your tip without even saying thank you. We've tried repeatedly to give them the benefit of the doubt, but we are consistently treated like this and I can say good bye for good this time. They have potential, but it's too late for us to give them another chance. read more

We had an event for about 25 people on their back patio this weekend. It's absolutely perfect for events! Our server was attentive, accommodating, and so easy to work with. She brought drinks from the bar out quickly. We ordered appetizers for the group and set them out for everyone to help themselves. They had trays of water glasses to grab and pitchers to refill them. We had chicken tenders with multiple sauces, chips salsa and guac, pretzels with cheese sauce and the hummus platter. Later on we ordered fries and tots. All of the food was delicious. They were busy inside but we were able to hang out on the patio late into the night. It was a very enjoyable place to host a party and I will recommend to anyone looking for a great place for a group. read more

Pretty good atmosphere, we sat at the bar and the service was good. bartender was nice. I ordered the Asian Crispy Chicken Salad and what came out looked like a side salad... i was like... Where is the rest of it? It actually didn't even come with chicken originally, and then they brought it later, a warmed up chicken patty that input on top of a small bowl Of Napa Cabbage and 4 mandarin oranges from a can. The night that I went, I had the garlic parm fries which did not disappoint. I also had the sliders which were good but nothing too special. The person I was with ordered the reuben sandwich which was huge! We both enjoyed our meals. You walk up and order at the counter and give them a table #. The food came out pretty fast. Wonderful selection of beers of all kinds for people of all ages. My experience with the food has been positive and if it's not to your liking they will gladly make it right. Goes for cocktails too. I wish I knew the server's name who happily accommodated 12 women ( with no reservations ) yesterday afternoon. He made sure we could all be seated together and after taking our food orders circled back to see if we needed our cocktails refreshed. So this is our second time going there the first time we had a really nice friendly waitress who brought us beers and food and we really enjoyed everything this time we went with some friends of ours. We arrived first and were probably sitting a good 15 minutes before anybody came over to service and give us menus. Then after we had requested some samples to try of various beers it took her forever to come back and check on us. Then when she did finally come back after our friends had arrived she was very quick to take our order and leave the table. We didn't really get a finish speaking to her. Her name was Georgia. It didn't take too long to get our food, but I wasn't impressed this time around. I had a patty melt that was on rye bread, but it wasn't grilled. It was toasted then it was missing the Russian dressing and I couldn't even taste the cheese they probably should've used a smokehouse cheddar or something. The tater tots were good and so was the pickle. I tried a mocktail this time around and I wasn't too impressed. I'm sure we'll be back though because they have a good selection of beers. read more

We had a party of 4 at 6:00 pm on Thursday, 12/22/22. You can just choose a table and then order at the counter. They were very accommodating and put on the football game we asked them to put on! Everyone in my party liked the beer they got! DMB had live music, which stopped around 7:30. I got the DMB Craft Burger ($17) with sweet potato fries. It was good! I also tried the regular fries and they were good too! We got Brussels Sprouts ($6) as a side, and they were terrible. I do not recommend those. Others in my party got the BBQ Chicken Sandwich ($18) and Beer-Battered Fish Sliders (2 for $11). They said the sliders were good, but needed sauce. Decent food, better beer. Food is below average. Came once before and we were ignored so we came back today to try it again. Service was better today. Ordered fish and chips (sub Brussel sprouts) and husband had dove dip with corn. Husband said sandwhich was edible but not great. My fish was cooked nicely but lacked salt and was bland overall. I had to ask for tarter sauce, the Brussel sprouts were bland and soggy and just flavorless - obviously boiled and not browned in a pan. Nobody wants to eat soggy veg. Brussels should be served crispy, They gave me enough coleslaw for 3 people and only one piece of fish? Weird experience. Our bill was around $48 which was way overpriced and not a good value. Would not return. Ambiance is chill. I wish restaurants like this would actually read reviews and reconsider their methods- we wanted to love it because it's very close to home. read more
