Checked this place out a few weeks ago for Tucson Foodie week and was happy to find a locally owned pizza spot so close by in Marana. This is definitely a spot you can go to get drinks and play bar games but on a Saturday afternoon it was nice and quiet. We ordered a couple beers and two pizzas: the bianco pizza and a quattro carne pizza. We also got a salad on the side. The salad was fresh but a little mid, but the pizza was excellent. Such crispy crust. I was excited to see they have a lot of trivia nights so I'm excited to come back for more festivities. read more

My husband and I enjoy going here for a few drinks whenever we get a chance for date night. There are a few restaurants in the same shopping center so it makes for a perfect drinks and dinner type of night out. The vibe is chill and fun. They've got a few TVs as well as a cooler of drinks to choose from that you can drink there or take home. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a pool table and a ping pong table and beer pong set up. They're known for their pizza, which we've tried once and it was fine. They also have daily specials. We were recently there on a Saturday and the special is $5 house shots. We tried the green tea and the white tea. Both were delicious and huge! Definitely more than a shot. Service is bar/walk up order only, which is totally fine, but makes it less memorable. Overall we are glad to have Casa Marana nearby. We will definitely be back again and again. read more

Casa Marana - Fun & Games - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Marana, Arizona

While I live super close, I haven't ever tried Casa Marana until recently. It's a very casual venue, mainly focused on the drinks, and so my friend and I both ordered some speciality cocktails. Don't get me wrong, the drinks were excellent and really well flavored! Not only that, the presentation and aesthetics of the drinks were great and the price reflected the quality. However, we also decided to order the Pretzel Bites and were fairly disappointed as they were truly just unseasoned pieces of bread and a very cheap tasting cheese dip. We both thought that for the price, they weren't worth it. I haven't had a full pizza there so I can't speak to the quality of their entrees but I would be open to revisiting in the future, but maybe sticking to the drinks. read more

Casa Marana is my go to place in the area! The pizza is always delicious, the beer, wine, and alcohol selection is excellent, and the bar is very relaxed and welcoming. Kyle, the owner, really puts his heart into it and it shows. They host a ton of fun events throughout the year -- Oktober Feast is my favorite. On top of the great pizza and drinks, there's plenty do while you're there -- beer pong, darts, pool, just to name a few. Great place to be with family and friends!! read more

It's a good idea to have a place like this in Marana, let people unwind after work. The pizza is good and the beer is cold, but the need to have waitresses or waiters. You have to go to the bare to get anything. You mainly get ignored until you stand there long enough. read more

This was our first time visiting Casa Marana, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. When we walked in, we weren't greeted. We stood near the entrance for a few minutes before deciding to grab a nearby table. After sitting for a while with no acknowledgment, I eventually walked up to the bar and noticed a sign that said "Order Here." We completely missed it at first because someone was standing in front of it ordering. A simple greeting and quick explanation to order at the bar and seat ourselves would have made a big difference. We understand this is a bar service setup, but even so, a quick check-in to see how the food was or if we needed anything isn't an unreasonable expectation. Even when checking out, we weren't asked how everything was or wished a good night -- the transaction felt very impersonal. We ordered a cheese pizza and a margherita pizza. The pizzas were good overall. We also ordered the pretzel bites, which unfortunately were not pretzels -- they were plain baked dough pieces with salt on top and a side of cheese. That was surprising given how they're listed on the menu. (Pretzel Bites photo taken at home) We love supporting local businesses and really hoped for a better experience. Unfortunately, our visit didn't leave us eager to return -- though we know off nights happen and may give it another shot down the road. read more

Casa Marana is exactly what you want in a local bar great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and an owner who genuinely cares. Kyle, the owner, is hands-down one of the best parts of this place. You can tell immediately that he's passionate about what he does and about the people who walk through the door. Kyle is friendly, present, and incredibly down-to-earth. He makes the effort to talk with guests, make sure everything is right, and create an environment that feels more like a neighborhood gathering spot than just another restaurant. That kind of ownership shows in every detail from the service to the overall vibe. It's refreshing to find a place where the owner is so involved and clearly invested in both the food and the community. Casa Marana is the type of spot you want to support, and Kyle is a big reason why. Highly recommend stopping you'll leave feeling taken care of and already planning your next visit. read more

Casa Marana is my favorite place to go to when in Marana. The beer lineup stays fresh with solid local options. The vibe is chill and comfortable, perfect for hanging out. The pizza deserves a shoutout. It's so good and great with a beer. I could eat an entire one alone lol Felicia and Mica are hands down the best bartenders. They make an evening fun. They're nice and make great recommendations. They make the best shots!!!! This place keeps pulling me back. Always a good move. read more

It's hot inside the restaurant/bar, asked if they could adjust......thermostat is broken! WTF! call out a company to fix!!

We stopped by on our way back from Terror in the Corn on Saturday night and chose to sit outdoors this time. I ordered the Sunny Daze, asking for it to be made less sweet, and it turned out really good. I also tried one of their seasonal fall cocktails, the Apple Cider Mule, which was nice but not as good as the Sunny Daze. For food, we had a margarita pizza with chicken, mushrooms, and basil, which was tasty, as well as the Spinach Artichoke Dip. Both were good, though I ended up with some acid reflux afterward, which I almost never get--I'm not sure which dish caused it. read more

Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff! I saw this place on social media and stop by to give it a try. They have plenty of beers on tap to keep you satisfied. And the people there are super nice. They also offer typical bar food. Nothing that's life-changing, but it's just fine. If you're in the area, definitely worth a try if you want a beer or a drink. They also have a patio and our dog friendly. read more

Super fun bar and restaurant with great prices. I will say definitely understaffed for how busy it was. But I want to give a shoutout to an employee (wish I got her name!) because she is an absolute machine. Petite gal wearing a pink tank with high ponytail working behind the bar as bartender and server. Super friendly to everyone, fast and efficient. Wish I had half her energy! read more

Went in for a drink, was with a group of 3 people had one beer each and played a 2 games of foosball and was having a lot of fun. Then we went back to the bar and ordered 2 more beers. The bartender told my friend they didn't feel comfortable serving us (after ONE beer) and that our "eyes were red" she was extremely rude about it as well. there were two girls behind the bar and it all seemed very mean girl and disrespectful. We also then looked at our eyes, which were completely clear as we thought. Not one us were stumbling, or acting intoxicated at all. In general costumer service was not good, did not feel welcomed or comfortable to even have a little fun while playing a game. read more

The one time I went I asked before I ordered if they had gluten free crust and they said they did. We waited 45 minutes for the food to come out and then they said they didn't so that wasn't great. The staff was okay about it but the drinks were good. read more

We were starving! We stumbled upon Casa Marana when the place we were headed had a huge wait. So glad we were steered this way. The menu is pizza, paninis and salads. My Chicken arugula salad is glorious, as I write between bites! Fresh nutty arugula topped with fresh grated parmesan, creamy Italian dressing, red ripe tomatoes and tender thin sliced chicken. Hubby's Stefano Italiano Panini features quality meat, cheese and crusty artisan bread! Yum! Enjoy an outdoor patio, pool, great food, excellent draft beer selection and a great evening! read more

First timer here and I will say it was an amazing experience! Absolute chill environment! They have a patio with lights and misters. The bartender was a sunshine! Steel Tip Darts sweetened the deal, and I'd suggest more lighting in that area. All the table games, beer pong, and cornhole made me feel as if I was in a friend's backyard. Didn't try the food but I think I missed out judging from the looks of the pizza and salads other people ordered. Can't wait to go back. Full bar, signature cocktails and mocktails. Something for everyone. read more

I stopped here on a blustery April evening, looking for a quiet place for a cocktail. This is a hip little place with a big outdoor seating space, so I think this would make a great spot when the weather is right to sit outside and enjoy a cold one. They offer pizzas and a few other offerings. I went with the capresa salad which was pretty good. Staff here are SO friendly! My salad was a work of art. The vibe is industrial and so are the tunes. Inside you can play pool. My only criticism is that their seating is all metal bar stools (except for a few comfy chairs around the pool table), which are not very inviting or comfortable! But that's just my personal preference. read more

Finally made it around to Casa Marana with some friends and it's honestly such a nice vibe! They do a great job decorating for the holidays and it was pleasant to see a lot of seating for groups, but also a lot of space to play their games. Speaking of games, they've got some really fun ones: beer pong, ping pong, darts, miniature shuffleboard, pool, and a bunch of board games! I think the best thing is that you can bring in food to eat while you drink and be merry! read more

Surprisingly great pizza. My guest and I shared a large Don Alfonso and it was the perfect size for 2 people. The crust was thin and crispy. I would've liked a little more salami and basil, but there was a lot of sausage and roasted peppers. You order at the bar and get a number. The bartender brought the pizza over and set it down without saying a word or even looking at us, which was somewhat rude. We had to go grab plates and napkins. I can't wait to try some of the other pizzas. read more

My experience with this place was nothing but positive. The place is sparse but nice inside, nothing fancy, but well laid out. I was greeted immediately and the two servers on duty were pleasant and professional. I was given menus for both the beer and food selections. The $10 pizza deal caught my eye, so I ordered one. It was absolutely delicious, it was cooked perfectly, I got fresh mozzarella instead of the shredded stuff, and that seemed to be a good choice as the cheese was creamy and delicious. The crust had a beautiful golden brown color and a wonderful chew. The pepperonis were the little cup kind and they were crispy and absolutely delicious! This is a damn delicious pizza! The beer selection is quite impressive as well, and I partook in several of the offerings. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area, and if not go anyway! read more

If not for a targeted Instagram ad then I might not have discovered this gem. I sure am glad I fell for the marketing tactic because I left knowing I'll be back, soon! The bar staff was very busy yet attentive and made quick conversation and solid recommendations. I started with a flight of 4 four beers and grew attached to the grapefruit flavor of the Tower Station IPA. Sticking with an IPA, I had a pint of the hazy Great Divide. It was a little too hoppy for my taste but tropical flavors of papaya and mango were strong. Ironically, these two beers were the top favorites of my bartender and I don't disagree. There are close to 30 beers on tap and another 5 refrigerators worth of canned adult beverages so there's something for everyone. There's some bar, indoor, and outdoor seating equipped with heaters, a beer pong table, a foosball table, darts, and corn hole. Be sure to check their schedule for themed trivia and enroll in the rewards program. read more

I love the Casa Marana vibes, drinks and food. However, they had one girl working the register on a FRIDAY NIGHT, she skipped us twice and seemed disinterested in even helping us (or any non-regular customer). Not once did anyone greet us, interact with us or otherwise show any real interest in engaging with us as paying customers (we bought pizza, two apps, drinks, and shots). Kinda sucked because they seem fun on Insta but in person, Womp Womp. Maybe management should have them focus more on the customer service and less on the TikTok trends... read more

This place is a joke! Customer service is non existent to the point that it seems like they ignore you on purpose. Great selection of beers but I, as well as many others, have walked in several times & been completely ignored while sitting just a few feet from a bartender who is flirting or refilling stock. Management claims to train their employees to look for uninformed customers who are looking pensively for wait staff to attend them but it's just not the case in reality. As a newer patron to this odd business practice I have to say I'll never return to this business after 4, yes 4 failed attempts to get anything close to something that even resembles customer service. I have no idea how this place is able to remain open with such a poor way of doing business. Never again will I waste my time trying to get service here. It's a joke of a bar because of the staff's lack of ability to pay attention to customers. read more

Everything we tried from the restaurant was great! This place has great food and quick service once you're able to order. However, the staff was highly unprofessional. I have been going to Casa Marana weekly for almost two years now. I love the place, vibe and the staff. I was with my friend from England and after golf I said "you have to come see this spot". We went in and ordered beers. When he was asked for an ID he realized that it was left at Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers. Instead of allowing him to find a photo or show proof, he and I were berated by a member of the bar service. As we left, she screamed, (infront of the group she knew and was obviously giving discounts to) on the way out, "no one cares, find another bar to drink at". I will do just that. I take a lot of business partners there and tip generously. No more unfortunately. One bad apple can ruin the whole place, people in business understand that. read more
