    Pretzel Bites
    Jenna F.

While I live super close, I haven't ever tried Casa Marana until recently. It's a very casual venue, mainly focused on the drinks, and so my friend and I both ordered some speciality cocktails. Don't get me wrong, the drinks were excellent and really well flavored! Not only that, the presentation and aesthetics of the drinks were great and the price reflected the quality. However, we also decided to order the Pretzel Bites and were fairly disappointed as they were truly just unseasoned pieces of bread and a very cheap tasting cheese dip. We both thought that for the price, they weren't worth it. I haven't had a full pizza there so I can't speak to the quality of their entrees but I would be open to revisiting in the future, but maybe sticking to the drinks.

Food is delicious! Felicia and Mica are awesome! Great service and fun vibes :) tattoos at their parties are kick ass! Check it out

This was our first time visiting Casa Marana, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. When we walked in, we weren't greeted. We stood near the entrance for a few minutes before deciding to grab a nearby table. After sitting for a while with no acknowledgment, I eventually walked up to the bar and noticed a sign that said "Order Here." We completely missed it at first because someone was standing in front of it ordering. A simple greeting and quick explanation to order at the bar and seat ourselves would have made a big difference. We understand this is a bar service setup, but even so, a quick check-in to see how the food was or if we needed anything isn't an unreasonable expectation. Even when checking out, we weren't asked how everything was or wished a good night -- the transaction felt very impersonal. We ordered a cheese pizza and a margherita pizza. The pizzas were good overall. We also ordered the pretzel bites, which unfortunately were not pretzels -- they were plain baked dough pieces with salt on top and a side of cheese. That was surprising given how they're listed on the menu. (Pretzel Bites photo taken at home) We love supporting local businesses and really hoped for a better experience. Unfortunately, our visit didn't leave us eager to return -- though we know off nights happen and may give it another shot down the road.

Casa Marana is exactly what you want in a local bar great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and an owner who genuinely cares. Kyle, the owner, is hands-down one of the best parts of this place. You can tell immediately that he's passionate about what he does and about the people who walk through the door. Kyle is friendly, present, and incredibly down-to-earth. He makes the effort to talk with guests, make sure everything is right, and create an environment that feels more like a neighborhood gathering spot than just another restaurant. That kind of ownership shows in every detail from the service to the overall vibe. It's refreshing to find a place where the owner is so involved and clearly invested in both the food and the community. Casa Marana is the type of spot you want to support, and Kyle is a big reason why. Highly recommend stopping you'll leave feeling taken care of and already planning your next visit.

Casa Marana is the best bar in the tucson area. Great vibes, delicious food & wide range of cocktails & beers. Felicia was my bartender, and she was absolutely phenomenal. Her humor, energy & charm will keep me coming back to this place. Casa marana truly knows how to create an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Casa Marana is my favorite place to go to when in Marana. The beer lineup stays fresh with solid local options. The vibe is chill and comfortable, perfect for hanging out. The pizza deserves a shoutout. It's so good and great with a beer. I could eat an entire one alone lol Felicia and Mica are hands down the best bartenders. They make an evening fun. They're nice and make great recommendations. They make the best shots!!!! This place keeps pulling me back. Always a good move.

We stopped by on our way back from Terror in the Corn on Saturday night and chose to sit outdoors this time. I ordered the Sunny Daze, asking for it to be made less sweet, and it turned out really good. I also tried one of their seasonal fall cocktails, the Apple Cider Mule, which was nice but not as good as the Sunny Daze. For food, we had a margarita pizza with chicken, mushrooms, and basil, which was tasty, as well as the Spinach Artichoke Dip. Both were good, though I ended up with some acid reflux afterward, which I almost never get--I'm not sure which dish caused it.

    Yummy drink

Alycia is the best bartender there. She is great at making drinks and has a amazing personality. Had a lot of fun at Casa Marana. I will definitely be going back soon.

We were in Tucson for a wedding and looking for a place to have a quick bite before heading back to Albuquerque. We stumbled upon this place and I'm glad we did. The service was sweet and quick and our pizza was delicious! Just what we were hoping for.

We were starving! We stumbled upon Casa Marana when the place we were headed had a huge wait. So glad we were steered this way. The menu is pizza, paninis and salads. My Chicken arugula salad is glorious, as I write between bites! Fresh nutty arugula topped with fresh grated parmesan, creamy Italian dressing, red ripe tomatoes and tender thin sliced chicken. Hubby's Stefano Italiano Panini features quality meat, cheese and crusty artisan bread! Yum! Enjoy an outdoor patio, pool, great food, excellent draft beer selection and a great evening!

casa is my go to bar on the north side, the food and drinks are spectacular! the service is amazing, cheyanne knows what i want as soon as i walk in! can't beat it. they are also dog friendly!!! major plus. i will always recommend casa to anyone looking for a place to relax and enjoy themselves :)

First timer here and I will say it was an amazing experience! Absolute chill environment! They have a patio with lights and misters. The bartender was a sunshine! Steel Tip Darts sweetened the deal, and I'd suggest more lighting in that area. All the table games, beer pong, and cornhole made me feel as if I was in a friend's backyard. Didn't try the food but I think I missed out judging from the looks of the pizza and salads other people ordered. Can't wait to go back. Full bar, signature cocktails and mocktails. Something for everyone.

Ordered the Chile Relleno combo with a beef taco & everything was great, excellent mole sauce & scratch kitchen home cooking taste. Pretty nice selection of slightly off the beaten path craft beers on tap, not a huge selection, but just diverse enough for people who enjoy different styles of beer, not just pils & lagers. Noticed they had some unusual tequila selections, but upon asking, they were collector bottles the owner was displaying, several were signed by the distiller. I was able find an additive-free artesenal brand (most were) & Javier joined me for a nice chat & offered me a free shot of a very fine tequila after we started talking tequila's & only after that did I realize he was Nana's son & part owner. Everything was great from my 1st visit, all of the staff were enthusiastic, friendly & professional while being chill. I was glad I finally stopped in at this location & look forward to returning.

A couple of things - I walk with a cane due to a bad back, hips and mobility issues. We arrived at opening at 5. They went to seat us at a picnic bench. Non-workable since I need something with back support and I can't crawl into a fixed bench. So we got them to find us a table with chairs for six. They were accommodating. The place was dingy, dim and look like it had not been updated in 30 years. I am all for nostalgia and rustic but honestly this was not it. The furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. For the price point I expected a hell of a lot more than what they provided. Pinnacle Peak is 100% more enjoyable than this place with a cheaper price point and the same quality food. Service was prompt enough. They brought out water and our drinks within 15 minutes which was fantastic. Ordered a coke, diet coke and a kilt lifter beer and they arrived in about 15 minutes. They took our order within about 20. Our salads arrive within the first 30 minutes. A boneless ribeye was ordered, half rack of beef ribs, 2 lb. porter house steak, 2 sirloin steaks and the salmon dinner. All the steaks were ordered medium rare. A plate of potato wedges were ordered as well. Meals also came with the dinner salad, bread and beans. It took them almost 40 minutes to get our entrees to us. The ribeye was about a quarter inch thick and cooked to medium. Both sirloins were about an inch thick and medium rare as ordered and the porterhouse was about two inches and rare. Salmon was medium. Potato wedges looked like they took a potato and cut it into quarters, seasoned it and cooked it. Beans were so over salted they were inedible. Total cost for all six of us before tip - $278.67 What a waste of money. Should have gone to Flemings or Sullivan's instead. At least I know there I would have had quality, atmosphere and comfort. Live and learn, will pick better for Father's Day and next year.

They said 50 minutes, and added us to the waitlist, this was at 5:40. We got seated a little after seven (almost 1.5 wait). Then we got seated. The garlic knots were brought out and tasted pretty doughy but good. They kinda remind me of the garlic knots you can get out of the freezer section at your local walmart. No bad things to say about the bruschetta. Two of my friends got the Caesar salad, which they enjoyed. My other friend and I got the garden salad, which was fine. My last friend got the minestrone and it was adequate. Then the most unfortunate part of the night was our entrees. Two of my friends got the penne vodka, it had no taste and reminded me of cardboard when I tried it. They both rated it a generous 4/10. To pay almost $30 for that meal was diabolical. My other two friends got the lasagna and to put it nicely, they think the Stouffer's frozen lasagna could beat it out. They also rated it a very kind and delicate 4/10. Lastly, I got the chicken saltimboca. It tasted like boiled salty chicken with canned minced garlic you'd keep in your fridge piled on top. Not sure my breath will ever smell good again. Instead of Marinara sauce I got vodka sauce on my pasta and I guess you could say no taste is better than a bad one? Disappointed in my meal to say the least. Very overpriced Italian food that I could make at home for a fraction of the price. Would not recommend.
