Noticed on their Specials board behind the bar my favorite beer was not listed and the specials had increased in price so I politely asked how much a pint of Coors light was. The waitress huffed and puffed then rudely pulled drink menu from my wife's hands and condescendingly informed me it would be almost $5 plus tax. She was obviously in a hurry to get drink orders in before happy hour discounts started and wouldn't take our food order yet. Dining area closed for maintenance. Place has issues. We cancelled our drink order due to rude service. Won't be back anytime soon.SB 1 star. This is the only Native Wings location in Tucson, there are several in the valley. Came here after the wait at Chilis (Friday night) was too long and the dining room at this place was almost empty so we thought it would be good. Spent most of dinner wishing we had gone somewhere else. We were wondering why they were not busy but we soon found out. The service went fine. Food was fairly timely. The food was very bland. I got the sampler. The strippers were leathery and bland. The potato skins were a weird texture and flavorless. Most everyone in our party was underwhelmed. The green chile burger didn't have flavor either. For the price, the burger patty was small. Went so far to take a roasted chile pod off to eat it straight to try to taste the flavor. First off everything was off to a good start and went downhill when they messed up ne and my spouses orders. And when we asked for a new order for my spouse all we got was attitude from our server. I didnt catch her name but she had a sorta red dyed hair. And they took forever to bring anything out to us even though it wasnt that busy at all. And maybe nit picking but they had all their fans on and my spouse was freezing because of it. We asked if the one right above us could be turned off and they saod they'd go check. Well we never heard from them on that and nothing ever changed. First time I genuinely ever had a problem at this place and it usually is always amazing service but for some reason tonight it lacked greatly. While not fancy, one of my favorite places to bring family. Prices are reasonable and they nearly always have specials. Never had a problem with the food and servers are always pleasant and helpful. If you get their app, you typically get an initial gift and 10% added to your account. On days where other sports-themed places have waiting lines, there's generally no problem getting a table with a view of every major game. If you want a place with cheering fans, just be advised, the atmosphere is pretty subdued. read more

Before we left, we noticed a flatbread was missing but were able to get it. Unfortunately when we got home, my salad had no grilled chicken and we were missing an order of curly fries. I went to Oder at the bar with friends on the patio due to being ignored by the wait staff. I was asked by the bartender where I was sitting, and said on the patio. I was turned away and told to wait for my waitress. I went back and said "can you just sell me my drinks?" " she said yes, but I need to pay her", like I wasn't going to. WTF? I got my drinks and paid and went back outside for them to do a favor for us to take our order. ‍ As a group we were giving them another chance after being disappointed many times before. My husband and I used to be big fans of Native, but after more than one horrific take out experience, we swore we wouldn't return. Fast forward about 5 years and we move much closer. We have a coupon and decide to give it another shot. We were very happy with our first experience back. We dined in the main dining room and not the bar area since we had our toddler with us. The lighting is not to my taste and the environment feels a bit sterile, but there are plenty of TVs and it was fairly crowded for a Sunday night with no major sports on. I went with the traditional wings with fries and I got the honey bbq sauce. The wings were excellent and I loved the sauce. The ranch was also very good. Fries were decent. My husband got a pound of boneless wings with two sauces. I can't recall which sauces he got, but he said he enjoyed his meal. In terms of service we were greeted pretty soon after walking in and told sit wherever we wanted; we requested a high chair and it was brought immediately. Food seemed to take a little longer than it should have. They have a claw machine and a pac man by the entrance so my daughter and I tried our hand at the claw machine but no luck. Overall, we are glad we gave it another chance. Based on our past experiences and some other reviews, we will strictly stick to dining in. read more

I work at a nearby restaurant and we had a particularly long, hard day. When I got off at 8:57 pm, I suggested a few (4 of us go to Native to grab a beer) I called to check the closing time in case they closed at 9 and was told by the girl who answered the phone that they close at 10:00 so we headed over. Walked in the door at 9:07 and walked up to the bar to order a beer and get advised by the girl behind the bar that they're already closing. I said I thought we had till 10 but she said, no we're closing early tonight. There was a Monday night football game just finishing up so it wasn't like we were the only ones there. My coworker said this is not the first time it has happened to her and that's why she stopped even coming. I'm not sure if they really close early whenever they want to or just say that so people won't stay. read more

Experience here was a bit disappointing tonight... Went there with family after daughter's graduation as she asked for wings. We were seated fairly quickly, so that's good. Our main waitress was just okay, it took a while for her to get back to us after every interaction, and always seemed a bit in a hurry. Even though the place was not full and other waitresses were on duty. They do seem a bit understaffed today and at times we've visited before. The food was meh I guess. I ordered a ten pack of bone in wings combo, and they gave me all drums. I didn't order all drums, and I don't remember the menu indicating this. No big deal I guess. The chicken itself was smaller dry-ish pieces, but it came out hot at least. Fries were hard and lukewarm. They were probably drying out under a heat lamp I'm thinking. The low Service rating is because when bringing out my food, the server (not our waitress) almost dumped a cup of ranch all over my lap because of how she just quickly slammed the food down in front of me. I intercepted the ranch just in time before disaster and it spilled all over my hands instead. (Unfortunately I happen to strongly dislike ranch). She's like "oh, sorry about that" a few times. Arrived at this location Friday 11/21 at about 1420 hrs. Wanted to sit at the bar, there were 3 seats available. Asked the current patrons if anyone was sitting in these empty seats, they replied, "No". So I went to sit in one of the seats and the bartender came over and said someone is going to sit there in the future. I said, yeah, me. However, to be nice I did sit on the other side next to my wife and the bartender said she didn't like the way I looked at her. I was speaking to my wife and the bartender said she didn't like the way I was talking to her. Which I wasn't, I was talking to my wife. Lady bartender said "this is my bar, if you don't like it you can leave." "I run this bar." Then she said, "what do you want to drink?" The gall of this rude woman. As if I'm going to have her now prepare something for me!? I have never been treated so unprofessionally and rudely by a bartender in my life. So obviously we left and will never go back there. I have eaten at Native Grill since it came to Tucson. Actually even before, eating at the Ray Road restaurant in Tempe. Best wings ever. Moved to VA in 2014 and never found any wings comparable. That said, I was visiting Tucson last week and went for wings with a few friends. Still the BEST! They are always fresh and crispy, just the way I like them. Service was impeccable and beer cold. I am not entirely sure what to make of this place. It's not really anything special...everything is just average. Average food, average service, average atmosphere. However the prices are a bit high for the quality and quantity of food you get. My boyfriend and I both ordered their boneless wings but he did chicken strips instead of wings. He asked for non-breaded but received breaded. We also had to constantly flag down the waitress for refills on his iced tea. She was more interested in the large group table next to us and seemed to not care we were even there. All in all I most likely won't eat here again. If you love wings, you have to go to a Native Grill!! They have the best wings and sauces/rubs. My go to wings used to be the parmesan garlic, but then they introduced the chicken and waffles and I can't get enough!! We live in Yuma and there is no Native there. So, whenever we go out of town and there is a Native, I make every effort to go to one just to get my wing fix!! I don't often have a bad experience when I go to this restaurant. It doesn't matter where it is, it's always yummy!! My husband doesn't usually order wings because he just isn't a wing lover. He likes the burgers though. This time, he ordered the Hangover and devoured it! He was very happy with his meal. He enjoyed the fries that came with it too. I, on the other hand, tried some of his fries and was not impressed! I should have ordered their fried zucchini because it's really tasty. I'm just trying to watch avoid too much deep fried foods and had to make a choice......wings it was! I only ordered the 5 wings, but wish I wasn't traveling so that I could have ordered the 10 instead and taken a few left over home. The restaurant was clean and the waitress was friendly. My wife and I have been visiting this particular Native for 2+ years. Over that time the food quality has progressively become worse. Finally after visiting today, the chips and salsa were "littered" with some sort of chilI powder, to a point where the smell was putrid. Then after ordering 15 wings, we received only 11. This venue will be shutting down soon, due to the fact on a Friday visit at 5pm they were only at half the capacity. I will add that the service at this Native is friendly and sympathetic to the customer. I can only hope they will find suitable employment elsewhere. A great selection of wings with dry rub spices or wet sauces. Service was very good, but I could tell they were a little slim on wait staff. Our waitress did excellent, but she had her hands full. A very nice atmosphere. Not too loud and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Prices were good, especially with the happy hour and daily deals. Early December I was charged $98 on a tab that was $38 & was told it was a glitch in their system and should be refunded within 2-5 days. It is now the 2nd of the month with no contact / refund and am getting quite annoyed with the way this was handled. I've always liked hot Buffalo wings and a friend turned me onto Native. I got the 10 pack done hot and Bobbie got the chicken strips done with Buffalo rub. The strips were tender with great flavor and cery moist, when dealing with chicken breast strips its easy to dry them out when cooking them. The hot wings had great heat, moist and very tender. Overall I have to say this was some of the best wings I've had here. We will be back. read more
